Piper betle(PB),also known as ubeter,in malay language,is a tropical Asian *** leaves are commonly chewed by Asians along with betel *** contains phenols such as eugenol and hydroxychavicol along with chlorophyll,P-carotene,and vitamin C(Salehi et al.,2019).Extracts from PB leaves have various medicinal properties including anticancer,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and antibacterial effects(Salehi et al.,2019).Previous research has shown that PB induces cell cycle arrest at late S or G2/m phase and causes apoptosis at higher doses(Wu et al.,2014;Guha majumdar and Subramanian,2019).

Central Neurocytoma and Epidermoid Tumor Occurring as Collision Tumors: A Rare Association

Different brain tumors of distinct histology can co-exist in the setting of phakomatoses or as a complication of radiotherapy. In the absence of these predisposing factors, this phenomenon is uncommon. When the lesions are in close proximity they are described as collision tumors and are extremely rare. A 58-year-old woman presented with persistent headache and cognitive decline for three months. magnetic resonance imaging revealed a tumor arising from the atrium of the left lateral ventricle with heterogeneous contrast enhancement. This intraventricular lesion was adjacent to another extensive infiltrating tumor of the basal cisterns. Operative findings revealed a vascular ventricular tumor and gross total resection was achieved. An adjacent avascular basal cistern tumor with a pearly white sheen was encountered and partial excision was performed. The histopathological diagnosis was central neurocytoma and epidermoid tumor. There is only one documented description of a central neurocytoma co-existing with a tumor of different pathology. To our knowledge, this is the first reported collision tumor case involving central neurocytoma. Since the incidence of both lesions co-existing juxtaposed is extremely low, a chronic oncogenetic inflammatory process stimulated by the epidermoid tumor to the subventricular region is suggested. Other mechanisms for tumor collision are discussed and we suggest a classification system for this rare association to reflect their pathogenesis.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

我们研究了划船和航行活动对在严格意义上的西北波罗的海的斯德哥尔摩群岛海域近岸鱼类补充的影响。这种影响可以通过对毗邻下述地区的小湾的变态幼鱼的取样来量化:①中型客船摆渡的路线;②小型划艇的停泊处(小码头);③参照区域。以植物为主要食物的鱼类受到划船和航行活动的负面影响;不以植物为主要食物的鱼类受到划船和航行活动的正面影响。当欧鲌在疏浚码头数量较多时,白斑狗鱼的幼鱼在参照区域数量也显著增多。尽管沿摆渡路线数量有减少的趋势,但对河鲈来说,无法确定具有统计意义的模式。许多近岸鱼类需要依靠沉水植被作为产卵和幼鱼的底质、结构性的庇护所与觅食的生境。我们的研究结论是,划船和航行活动对沉水植被的覆盖面和高度将造成负面影响,尤其是对轮藻属和眼子菜的负面影响,可能导致幼鱼群落的改变。

Laser-solid interactions are highly suited as a potential source of high energy X-rays for nondestructive imaging.A bright,energetic X-ray pulse can be driven from a small source,making it ideal for high resolution X-ray *** limiting the lateral dimensions of the target we are able to confine the region over which X-rays are produced,enabling imaging with enhanced resolution and *** constrained targets we demonstrate experimentally a(20±3)μm X-ray source,improving the image quality compared to unconstrained foil *** demonstrates that a larger sheath field envelope around the perimeter of the constrained targets increases the proportion of electron current that recirculates through the target,driving a brighter source of X-rays.

Objective: To characterize the scientific production related to the impact of urinary incontinence on quality of life of pregnant women. method: An integrative review carried out from September 2014 to may 2015. The search was conducted in six databases, and a final sample of seventeen publications was presented. The data were presented in tables. Results: Incontinence related factors are: Being older, second pregnancy, multiparity, constipation, smoking, and obesity. Stress incontinence is the most occurring in pregnant women, causing an adverse impact on quality of life. Discussion: It is for health professionals who try to create effective coping strategies for minimizing consequences generated by the accidental loss of urine. Conclusion: Urinary incontinence affects the mother’s life, resulting in social, behavioral, physical and emotional harm, taking this woman to be excluded from society and feel insecure about their health.

Objective:To determine the relationship of the capacity to produce interferon gamma(IFN-γ) in whole blood,bacteriological,hematological,radiographic and clinical presentations in new,HIV seronegative cases of pulmonary tuberculosis(TB).methods:80 cases and 50 control subjects aged 15 years onwards,representative of Kasturba Hospital and Nursing schools of Wardha district of maharashtra state in India were examined for their health condition with standard ***:Among these TB patients,73.8%were Quantiferon-TB gold (QFT) positive with IFN-γconcentration as 0.35 IU or more and there was none in healthy *** mean IFN-γconcentrations varied between 9.58 IU(50-59 yrs) and 2.58 IU(≥60 yrs),showing no *** differences in positivity and mean IFN-γconcentrations were statistically *** the QFT positivity and IFN-γconcentrations were higher in normal lymphocyte percent as compared to below and above normal,but differences were not statistically ***:The IFN-γconcentrations are not correlated with any of the predictors of disease severity studied,the levels are significantly higher in observation group as compared to healthy group.
