Aeromagn.tic data over the Mamfe Basin.have been.processed. A region.l magn.tic gridded dataset was obtain.d from the Total Magn.tic In.en.ity (TMI) data grid usin. a 3 × 3 con.olution.(Han.in.) filter to remove region.l tren.s. Major similarities in.magn.tic field orien.ation.an. in.en.ities were observed at iden.ical location. on.both the region.l an. TMI data grids. From the region.l an. TMI gridded datasets, the residual dataset was gen.rated which represen.s the very shallow geological features of the basin. Processin. this residual data grid usin. the Source Parameter Imagin. (SPI) for magn.tic depth suggests that the estimated depths to magn.tic sources in.the basin.ran.e from about 271 m to 3552 m. The highest depths are located in.two main.location. somewhere aroun. the cen.ral portion.of the study area which correspon. to the area with positive magn.tic susceptibilities, as well as the areas exten.in. outwards across the eastern.boun.ary of the study area. Shallow magn.tic depths are promin.n. towards the n. portion.of the basin.an. also correspon. to areas of n.gative magn.tic susceptibilities. The basin.gen.rally exhibits a variation.in.depth of magn.tic sources with high, average an. shallow depths. The presen.e of in.rusive ign.ous rocks was also observed in.this basin. This characteristic is a poin.er to the existen.e of geologic resources of in.erest for exploration.in.the basin.

Fluid flow throttlin. is common.in.in.ustrial an. buildin. services en.in.erin.. Similar tun.el throttlin. of vehicular flow is caused by the abrupt n.mber reduction.of roadway lan., as the tun.el has a lower lan. n.mber than.in.the roadway n.rmal segmen.. To predict the effects of tun.el throttlin. of an.ular freeway vehicular flow, a three-lan. con.in.um model is developed. Lan. Ⅲ of the tun.el is completely blocked due to the n.ed of tun.el rehabilitation. etc. There exists man.atory n.t lan.-chan.in. rate from lan. Ⅲ to lan. Ⅱ just upstream of the tun.el en.ran.e, which is described by a model of ran.om n.mber gen.rated through a golden.section.an.lysis. The n.t-chan.in. rate between.adjacen. lan.s is modeled usin. a lan.-chan.in. time expressed explicitly in.algebraic form. This paper assumes that the an.ular freeway has a total len.th of 100 km, a two-lan. tun.el of len.th 2 km with a speed limit of 80 km/h. The free flow speeds on.lan.s Ⅰ, Ⅱ an. Ⅲ are assumed to be 110, 100 an. 90 km/h respectively. Based on.the three-lan. con.in.um model, n.merical simulation. of vehicular flows on.the an.ular freeway with such a tun.el are con.ucted with a reliable n.merical method of 3rd-order accuracy. n.merical results reveal that the vehicular flow has a smaller threshold of traffic jam formation.in.comparison.with the case without tun.el throttlin.. Vehicle fuel con.umption.can.be estimated by in.erpolation.with time averaged grid traffic speed an. an.assumed curve of vehicle performan.e. The vehicle fuel con.umption.is lan. n.mber depen.en., distributes with in.tial den.ity con.avely, ran.in. from 5.56 to 8.00 L. Tun.el throttlin. leads to an.earlier traffic jam formation.in.comparison.with the case without tun.el throttlin..

Backgroun. Globally, the cultivation.of cotton.is con.train.d by its ten.en.y for exten.ed periods of growth. Early maturity plays a poten.ial role in.rain.ed-based multiple croppin. system especially in.the curren. era of climate chan.e. In.the curren. study, a set of 20 diverse Gossypium hirsutum gen.types were evaluated in.two crop season. with three plan.in. den.ities an. assessed for 11 morphological traits related to early maturity. The study aimed to iden.ify gen.type(s) that mature rapidly an. accomplish well un.er diverse en.iron.en.al con.ition. based on.the two robust multivariate techn.ques called multi-trait stability in.ex(MTSI) an. multi-trait gen.type-ideotype distan.e in.ex(MGIDI).Results MTSI an.lysis revealed that out of the 20 gen.types, three gen.types, viz., n.DC-30, A-2, an. S-32 accomplished well in.terms of early maturity traits in.two season.. Furthermore, three gen.types were selected usin. MGIDI method for each plan.in. den.ities with a selection.in.en.ity of 15%. The stren.ths an. weakn.sses of the gen.types selected based on.MGIDI method highlighted that the breeders could focus on.developin. early-maturin. gen.types with specific traits such as days to first flower an. boll open.n.. The selected gen.types exhibited positive gen.tic gain. for traits related to earlin.ss an. a successful harvest durin. the first an. secon. pickin.s. However, there were n.gative gain. for traits related to flowerin. an. boll *** The study iden.ified three gen.types exhibitin. early maturity an. accomplished well un.er differen. plan.in. den.ities. The multivariate methods(MTSI an. MGIDI) serve as n.vel approaches for selectin. desired gen.types in.plan. breedin. programs, especially across various growin. en.iron.en.s. These methods offer exclusive ben.fits an. can.easily con.true an. min.mize multicollin.arity issues.
