Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),or drones,have revolutionized a wide range of industries,including monitoring,agriculture,surveillance,and supply chain.However,their widespread use also poses significant challenges,such as public safety,privacy,and cybersecurity.Cyberattacks,targetingUAVs have become more frequent,which highlights the need for robust security solutions.Blockchain technology,the foundation of cryptocurrencies has the potential to address these challenges.This study suggests a platform that utilizes blockchain technology tomanage drone operations securely and confidentially.By incorporating blockchain technology,the proposed method aims to increase the security and privacy of drone data.The suggested platform stores information on a public blockchain located on Ethereum and leverages the Ganache platform to ensure secure and private blockchain transactions.TheMetaMask wallet for Ethbalance is necessary for BCT transactions.The present research finding shows that the proposed approach’s efficiency and security features are superior to existing methods.This study contributes to the development of a secure and efficient system for managing drone operations that could have significant applications in various industries.The proposed platform’s security measures could mitigate privacy concerns,minimize cyber security risk,and enhance public safety,ultimately promoting the widespread adoption of UAVs.The results of the study demonstrate that the blockchain can ensure the fulfillment of core security needs such as authentication,privacy preservation,confidentiality,integrity,and access control.

Objective:Post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)is a psychiatric disorder characterized by depression and anxiety,that arises due to an imbalance of neurotransmitters in response to excessive stress.Hesperidin(HSD)is a naturally occurring flavonoid shown to exert a variety of biological activities,including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and neuroprotective effects.Methods:This study was used the open field test(OFT)and forced swimming test(FST)to examine the effects of HSD on the depression-like response of rats after exposure to a single prolonged stress(SPS)leading to the dysregulation of the serotonergic activation system.Male rats were given HSD(20,50,and 100 mg/kg,intraperitoneal injection,n=6–7 per group)once daily for 14 days after exposure to SPS.The influence of administration of HSD on SPS-induced behavioral responses and concentrations of serotonin(5-HT),5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5-HIAA),and monoamine oxidase-A(MAO-A)in the rat brain were also investigated using enzyme-linked immunoassays(ELISAs).Results:Daily HSD administration significantly improved depression-like behaviors in the FST(P<0.05),increased the number of lines crossed in the central zone of the OFT(P<0.01),and reduced freezing behavior both in contextual and cued fear conditioning.HSD treatment also attenuated the reduction in SPS-induced 5-HT concentrations in the hippocampus and amygdala.This increase in 5-HT concentrations during HSD treatment was partially attributed to a decrease in the 5-HIAA/5-HT ratio in the hippocampus of rats with PTSD.Furthermore,HSD treatment inhibited activity of MAO-A and decreases of tryptophan hydroxylase-1 expression in the hippocampus.Conclusion:HSD was shown to exert antidepressant effects in rats exposed to SPS,suggesting that this natural flavonoid may be an effective medicine for PTSD.

In computer vision,object recognition and image categorization have proven to be difficult challenges.They have,nevertheless,generated responses to a wide range of difficult issues from a variety of fields.Convolution Neural Networks(CNNs)have recently been identified as the most widely proposed deep learning(DL)algorithms in the literature.CNNs have unquestionably delivered cutting-edge achievements,particularly in the areas of image classification,speech recognition,and video processing.However,it has been noticed that the CNN-training assignment demands a large amount of data,which is in low supply,especially in the medical industry,and as a result,the training process takes longer.In this paper,we describe an attentionaware CNN architecture for classifying chest X-ray images to diagnose Pneumonia in order to address the aforementioned difficulties.AttentionModules provide attention-aware properties to the Attention Network.The attentionaware features of various modules alter as the layers become deeper.Using a bottom-up top-down feedforward structure,the feedforward and feedback attention processes are integrated into a single feedforward process inside each attention module.In the present work,a deep neural network(DNN)is combined with an attention mechanism to test the prediction of Pneumonia disease using chest X-ray pictures.To produce attention-aware features,the suggested networkwas built by merging channel and spatial attentionmodules in DNN architecture.With this network,we worked on a publicly available Kaggle chest X-ray dataset.Extensive testing was carried out to validate the suggested model.In the experimental results,we attained an accuracy of 95.47%and an F-score of 0.92,indicating that the suggested model outperformed against the baseline models.

Hybrid Models for Breast Cancer Detection via Transfer Learning Technique

Currently,breast cancer has been amajor cause of deaths in women worldwide and the World Health Organization(WHO)has confirmed this.The severity of this disease can be minimized to the large extend,if it is diagnosed properly at an early stage of the disease.Therefore,the proper treatment of a patient having cancer can be processed in better way,if it can be diagnosed properly as early as possible using the better algorithms.Moreover,it has been currently observed that the deep neural networks have delivered remarkable performance for detecting cancer in histopathological images of breast tissues.To address the above said issues,this paper presents a hybrid model using the transfer learning to study the histopathological images,which help in detection and rectification of the disease at a low cost.Extensive dataset experiments were carried out to validate the suggested hybrid model in this paper.The experimental results show that the proposed model outperformed the baseline methods,with F-scores of 0.81 for DenseNet+Logistic Regression hybrid model,(F-score:0.73)for Visual Geometry Group(VGG)+Logistic Regression hybrid model,(F-score:0.74)for VGG+Random Forest,(F-score:0.79)for DenseNet+Random Forest,and(F-score:0.79)for VGG+Densenet+Logistic Regression hybrid model on the dataset of histopathological images.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is one of the common lethal malignancies which is increasing rapidly in the world.Increasing risks from alcohol and tobacco habits,lack of early detection markers,lack of effective chemotherapeutic agents,recurrence and distant metastasis make the disease more complicated to manage.Laboratory-based studies and epidemiological studies indicate important roles of nutraceuticals to manage different cancers.The plant bitter melon(Momordica charantia)is a good source of nutrients and bio-active phytochemicals such as triterpenoids,triterpene glycosides,phenolic acids,flavonoids,lectins,sterols and proteins.The plant is widely grown in Asia,Africa,and South America.Bitter melon has traditionally been used as a folk medicine and Ayurvedic medicine in Asian culture to treat diseases such as diabetes,since ancient times.The crude extract and some of the isolated pure compounds of bitter melon show potential anticancer effects against different cancers.In this review,we shed light on its effect on OSCC.Bitter melon extract has been found to inhibit cell proliferation and metabolism,induce cell death and enhance the immune defense system in the prevention of OSCC in vitro and in vivo.Thus,bitter melon may be used as an attractive chemopreventive agent in progression towards OSCC clinical study.

Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S film samples are prepared by a spray pyrolysis technique using aqueous solutions of CdC_(l2),ZnC_(l2),SC(NH2)2 and deionized water,which are atomized using compressed air as the carrier gas onto glass substrates with different water(H2O)concentrations.H2O is used as the activator.The prepared films are characterized by means of XRD and UV−VIS spectroscopy.Experimental results reveal that the structures and properties of the films are greatly affected by the H2O content.Water in a certain range of concentrations promotes the formation of the Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S films and improves the properties of the films.

Irregular Characteristics of Bond Interface Formation in Ultrasonic Wire Wedge Bonding

The mechanism of ultrasonic wire wedge bonding, one of the die/chip interconnection methods, was investigated based on the characteristics of the ultrasonic wire bonding joints. The Al-1%Si wire of 25 μm in diameter was bonded on Au/Ni/Cu pad and the joint cross-section was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX）. The results indicated that it is irregular for the ultrasonic bond formation, non-welded at the centre but joining well at the periphery, especially at the heel and toe of the joint. Furthermore, the diffusion and/or reaction at the cross-section interface are not clear at C-zone, while there exists a strip layer microstructure at P-zone, and the composition is 78.96 at. pct Al and 14.88 at. pct Ni, close to the Al3Ni intermetallic compound. All these observations are tentatively ascribed to the plastic flow enhanced by ultrasonic vibration and repeated cold deformation driving interdiffusion between AI and Ni at bond interface.

Order of FIB updates seldom matters:Fast reroute and fast convergence with interface‐specific forwarding

During convergence,after a link state change in traditional networks with a distributed control plane,packets may get caught in transient forwarding loops.Such loops can be avoided by imposing a certain order among the routers in updating their forwarding information bases(FIBs),but it requires some form of coordination among routers.As an alternative,a progressive link metric increment method has been proposed for loop-free forwarding without ordered FIB updates,but it takes longer to converge to the target state.In this paper,we show that the order of updates rarely matters for loop-free convergence when the failure inference-based fast reroute(FIFR)scheme with interface-specific forwarding is employed for dealing with link failures.The key insight is to have each router install the traditional interface-independent forwarding entries as soon as they are recomputed during convergence and install the recomputed interface-specific backwarding entries post-convergence.Our evaluation of 280 real and random topologies confirms that the order of updates does not matter with the proposed approach for 17336 out of 17339 links in those topologies.To handle such rare cases where the order matters,it can be coupled with progressive link metric increments to ensure loop-freedom with unordered FIB updates.Thus,the proposed approach,referred to as FIFR++,makes it possible to achieve disruption-free fast convergence and fast reroute without requiring any modification to the IP datagram and without needing any coordination between routers.

AIM: To find the anti-inflammatory and anti-platelet aggregatory activity of human placental extract (HPE, Placentrex).METHODS: The HPE was studied for anti-inflammatory effect in Wistar rats on carrageenin, serotonin (5-HT),and prostaglandin E1(PGE1) induced edema in acute model and cotton pellet induced granuloma on sub-acute model. Anti-platelet aggregation was studied against protection of adinosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced aggregation of human platelet through in vitro study. RESULTS: HPE showed positive results both in acute and sub-acute models of inflammation. Highly significant (P<0.01) results were obtained against 5-HT induced acute inflammation and cotton pellet induced sub-acute inflammation in comparison with standard (diclofenac sodium) and control(normal saline) drugs. The anti-inflammatory property of HPE in animal model was well supported with clinical study of platelet aggregation. There was highly significant (P<0.01) inhibition of platelet aggregation with HPE at different doses against ADP. CONCLUSION: Our data suggest that human placental extract may be useful in suppressing inflammation and platelet aggregation.
