Self-ball milling strategy to construct high-entropy oxide coated LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) with enhanced electrochemical performance

High-entropy oxides(HEOs)are a new class of emerging materials with fascinating properties(such as structural stability,tensile strength,and corrosion resistance).High-entropy oxide coated Ni-rich cathode materials have great potential to improve the electrochemical ***,we present a facile self-ball milling method to obtain(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Gd_(0.2))_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)(HEO)coated LiNi_(0.8)Co_(_(0.1))Mn_(_(0.1))O_(2)(NCM811).The HEO coating endows NCM811 with a stable surface,reduces the contact with the external environment(air and electrolyte),and inhibits side reactions between cathode and *** favorable effects,especially when the coating amount is 5 wt%,result in a significant reduction of the battery polarization and an increase in the capacity retention from 57.3%(NCM811)to 74.2%(5HEO-NCM811)after 300 cycles at 1 C(1 C=200 mA·h·g^(−1)).Moreover,the morphology and spectroscopy analysis after the cycles confirmed the inhibitory effect of the HEO coating on electrolyte decomposition,which is important for the cycle ***,HEO coating reduces the viscosity of slurry by 37%–38%and significantly improves the flowability of the slurry with high solid *** strategy confirms the feasibility of HEO-modified Ni-rich cathode materials and provides a new idea for the design of high-performance cathode materials for Li-ion batteries.

Sn-decorated CeO_(2) with different morphologies for direct dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene

Three Sn-decorated ceria catalysts with various morphologies(rods,particles,and cubes)were prepared and applied to the direct dehydrogenation of ***-technology characterizations,including X-ray photoelectro n spectroscopy(XPS),H_(2)-tempe rature programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR),and Raman spectroscopy,prove that the oxygen vacancies are the active sites for ethylbenzene dehydrogenation,which can be regulated by engineering CeO_(2) morphology and enhanced via introducing metal *** the results of activity test,the catalytic activities for ethylbenzene dehydrogenation over different samples are closely dependent on the amount of oxygen *** reduced Sn-decorated CeO_(2) catalyst with nanoparticles morphology exhibits better dehydrogenation performance than the other two studied catalysts at 600℃.This work provides an effective approach to regulate the active oxygen vacancies and further enhance the dehydrogenation activities through engineering the surface morphology of the catalyst and introducing suitable additives.

Co/Co7Fe3 heterostructures with controllable alloying degree on carbon spheres as bifunctional electrocatalyst forrechargeable zinc–air batteries

Exploring efficient and nonprecious metal electrocatalysts of oxygen reduction reaction（ORR） and oxygen evolution reaction（OER） is crucial for developing rechargeable zinc–air batteries（ZABs）. Herein, an alloying-degree control strategy was employed to fabricate nitrogen-doped carbon sphere（NCS） decorated with dual-phase Co/Co7Fe3heterojunctions（CoFe@NCS）. The phase composition of materials has been adjusted by controlling the alloying degree. The optimal CoFe0.08@NCS electrocatalyst displays a half-wave potential of 0.80 V for ORR and an overpotential of 283 mV at 10 mA·cm-2for OER in an alkaline electrolyte. The intriguing bifunctional electrocatalytic activity and durability is attributed to the hierarchically porous structure and interfacial electron coupling of highly-active Co7Fe3alloy and metallic Co species. When the CoFe0.08@NCS material is used as air–cathode catalyst of rechargeable liquid-state zinc–air battery（ZAB）, the device shows a high peak power-density(157 mW·cm-2) and maintains a stable voltage gap over 150 h, outperforming those of the benchmark（Pt/C+RuO2）-based device. In particular, the as-fabricated solid-state flexible ZAB delivers a reliable compatibility under different bending conditions. Our work provides a promising strategy to develop metal/alloy-based electrocatalysts for the application in renewable energy conversion technologies.

Multi-omics reveals the mechanisms underlying Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P8-mediated attenuation of oxidative stress in broilers challenged with dexamethasone

Oxidative stress is a common phenomenon in poultry *** molecules,including antioxidant genes,miRNAs,and gut microbiota metabolites,have been reported to participate in redox *** plantarum P8(P8)was shown to improve the antioxidant capacity of chickens,but the specific molecular mechanisms remain *** this study,400 broilers were allocated to 4treatment groups:control diet(Con group),control diet+dexamethasone injection(DEX group),control diet containing 1×108CFU/g P8(P8 group),and control diet containing 1×108CFU/g P8+DEX injection(DEX_P8 group).Integrated analysis of the microbiome,metabolomics,and miRNAomics was conducted to investigate the roles of P8 in oxidative stress in *** demonstrated that P8supplementation significantly improved growth performance,jejunal morphology,and antioxidant function in DEX-treated *** of the gut microbiota revealed a higher abundance of Barnesiella(P=0.01)and Erysipelatoclostridium(P=0.05)in the DEX_P8 group than in the DEX *** prediction indicated that certain pathways,including the phenylacetate degradation pathway,were enriched in the DEX_P8 group compared to the DEX *** in the cecal contents were distinct between the groups.P8 supplementation increased the content of metabolites with antioxidant capacity,e.g.,urobilinogen(P<0.01),and decreased that of metabolites related to oxidative stress,e.g.,genistein(P<0.01).Functional prediction indicated that metabolites that differed between the DEX_P8and DEX groups were enriched in pathways including“tryptophan metabolism”and“primary bile acid biosynthesis”.The miRNAomics analysis further showed that,compared to the DEX group,several miRNAs in the jejunum,such as gga-miR-21-3p(P=0.03),were increased,whereas gga-miR-455-3p(P=0.02)was decreased in the DEX_P8 *** PI3K-Akt,Ras,and Rap1 signaling pathways were enriched in the DEX_P8 group compared to the DEX group through KEGG analysi

In this paper, we consider the finite element method and discontinuous Galerkin method for the stochastic Helmholtz equation in R^d （d = 2, 3）. Convergence analysis and error estimates are presented for the numerical solutions. The effects of the noises on the accuracy of the approximations are illustrated. Numerical experiments are carried out to verify our theoretical results.

The real-time dynamic liquid level calculation method of the sucker rod well based on multi-view features fusion

In the production of the sucker rod well, the dynamic liquid level is important for the production efficiency and safety in the lifting process. It is influenced by multi-source data which need to be combined for the dynamic liquid level real-time calculation. In this paper, the multi-source data are regarded as the different views including the load of the sucker rod and liquid in the wellbore, the image of the dynamometer card and production dynamics parameters. These views can be fused by the multi-branch neural network with special fusion layer. With this method, the features of different views can be extracted by considering the difference of the modality and physical meaning between them. Then, the extraction results which are selected by multinomial sampling can be the input of the fusion *** the fusion process, the availability under different views determines whether the views are fused in the fusion layer or not. In this way, not only the correlation between the views can be considered, but also the missing data can be processed automatically. The results have shown that the load and production features fusion(the method proposed in this paper) performs best with the lowest mean absolute error(MAE) 39.63 m, followed by the features concatenation with MAE 42.47 m. They both performed better than only a single view and the lower MAE of the features fusion indicates that its generalization ability is stronger. In contrast, the image feature as a single view contributes little to the accuracy improvement after fused with other views with the highest MAE. When there is data missing in some view, compared with the features concatenation, the multi-view features fusion will not result in the unavailability of a large number of samples. When the missing rate is 10%, 30%, 50% and 80%, the method proposed in this paper can reduce MAE by 5.8, 7, 9.3 and 20.3 m respectively. Hydrogen Storage Performances of Nanocrystalline and Amorphous NdMg11Ni+x wt% Ni （x=100, 200） Alloys Synthesized by Mechanical Milling

Nanocrystalline and amorphous NdMg12-type NdMg11Ni+x wt%Ni(x=100,200)alloys were successfully prepared through ball milling(BM).The microstructures and electrochemical properties were systematically studied to get a more comprehensive understanding of the sample *** maximum discharging capacity could be obtained at only two cycles,indicating that as-milled alloys have superior activation *** more the Ni content,the better the electrochemical properties of the as-milled *** be specific,the discharge capacities of x=100 and x=200(BM 20 h)samples are 128.2 and 1030.6 mAh/g at 60 mAh/g current density,respectively,revealing that enhancement of Ni content could significantly improve the discharging capacities of the ***,milling duration obviously influences the electrochemical properties of the *** discharging capacity always rises with milling duration prolonging for the x=100 sample,but that of the(x=200)sample shows a trend of first augment and then *** cycling stability of the(x=100)alloy clearly decreases with extending milling duration,whereas that of the(x=200)alloy first declines and then augments under the same *** addition,the high rate discharge(HRD)abilities of the sample display the maximal values as milling duration *** HRD(HRD=C300/C60×100%)values of the as-milled alloys(x=100,200)are 80.24%and 85.17%,respectively.

Rhodamine Mechanophore Functionalized Mechanochromic Double Network Hydrogels with High Sensitivity to Stress

Mechanochromic hydrogels, a new class of stimuli-responsive soft materials, have potential applications in a number of fields such as damage reporting and stress/strain sensing. We prepared a novel mechanochromic hydrogel using a strategy that has been developed to prepare dual-network(DN) hydrogels. A hydrophobic rhodamine derivative(Rh mechanophore) was covalently incorporated into a first network as a cross-linker. This first network embedded with Rh mechanophore within the DN hydrogel was pre-stretched. This guaranteed that the stress could be transferred extensively to the Rh-crosslinked first network once the hydrogel was under an applied force. Interestingly, we found that the threshold stress required to activate the mechanochromism of the hydrogel was less than 200 kPa, and much less than those in previous reports. Moreover, because of the excellent sensitivity of the hydrogel to stress, the DN hydrogel exhibited reversible freezing-induced mechanochromism. Benefiting from the sensitivity of Rh mechanophore to both p H and force, the DN hydrogel showed p H-regulated mechanochromic behavior. Our experimental results indicate that the preparation strategy we used introduces sensitive mechanochromism into the hydrogel and preserves the advantageous mechanical properties of the DN hydrogel. These results will be beneficial to the design and preparation of mechanochromic hydrogels with high stress sensitivity, and foster their practical applications in a number of fields such as damage reporting and stress/strain sensing.

Combination method of conflict evidences based on evidence similarity

Aiming at the problem that the traditional Dempster Shafer (D-S) evidence theory cannot deal with conflicted evidences effectively and correctly, this paper points out that the key issue of this problem is to measure the degree of conflict between evidences correctly after analyzing various improved methods. The existing evidence conflict measure methods are analyzed, and a new evidence conflict measure method called evidence similarity measure based on the Tanimoto measure is proposed, while a new evidence combination method is proposed on the basis of evidence similarity measure. Firstly, the conflict degrees between evidences are obtained through the evidence similarity measure. Then the evidence sources are modified based on the credibility of different evidences and the weights of conflicted parts of evidences on different focal elements are determined. Finally, the fusion result is obtained by this method. Numerical examples show that the proposed method can effectively fuse evidences when evidences are consistent or highly conflicted, and it has a fast convergence speed, a high degree of accuracy and good adaptability.
