Diabetes,a prevalent chronic metabolic disorder,often leads to severe ***,existing treatment methods may pose life-threatening risks due to poor patient compliance and inaccurate dosing of subcutaneous insulin ***,a biomimetic red blood cell(RBC)membrane-coated glucose-responsive nanoplatform is developed for controlling insulin *** nanoplatforms with RBC membrane can prolong the half-life of nano-formulation in vivo mediated by the biomimetic immune ***,the cascade catalytic effect of glucose oxidase(GOx)encapsulated in metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the RBC membrane are able to not only facilitate glucose-responsive insulin release,but also eliminate the detrimental by-product hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))resulting from the Hb mediated H_(2)O_(2)*** in vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated the favorable glucose-responsive performances of this advanced nano-platform with a single intravenous injection maintaining blood glucose balance in Type 1 Diabetes(T1D)mice for an extended duration without the hypoglycemia ***,this biomimetic insulin delivery system is poised to function as a strategy for the intravenous insulin administration,offering a promising drug candidate for the self-adaptive long-term T1D treatment.

Two-dimensional membranes have attracted significant attention due to their superior characteristics,and their ability to boost both flux and selectivity have led to their reputation as potential next-generation separation *** them,emerging MXene-based membranes play significant roles in the competitive membrane-separation *** this mini-review,we systematically discuss the assembly and separation mechanisms of these ***,we highlight strategies based on the crosslinking of MXene nanosheets and the construction of additional nanochannels that further enhance the permeabilities and anti-swelling properties of MXene-based membranes and meet the requirements of practical applications,such as gas-molecule sieving,ion sieving,and other small-molecule *** nanosheets can also be used as additives that introduce specific functionalities into hybrid *** addition,extended applications that use MXenes as scaffolds are also discussed.

FITTING C1 SURFACES TO SCATTERED DATA WITH S 1 2 （△ m,n （2））

This paper presents a fast algorithm （BS2 Algorithm） for fitting C 1 surfaces to scat- tered data points. By using energy minimization, the bivariate spline space S 2 1（△ m,n （2）） is introduced to construct a Cl-continuous piecewise quadratic surface through a set of irregularly 3D points. Moreover, a multilevel method is also presented. Some experimental results show that the accuracy is satisfactory. Furthermore, the BS2 Algorithm is more suitable for fitting surfaces if the given data points have some measurement errors.

Novel Ag-AgBr decorated composite membrane for dye rejection and photodegradation under visible light

Photocatalytic membranes have received increasing attention due to their excellent separation and photodegradation of organic contaminants in ***,we bound Ag-AgBr nanoparticles onto a synthesized polyacrylonitrile-ethanolamine(PAN-ETA)membrane with the aid of a chitosan(CS)-TiO_(2) layer via vacuum filtration and in-situ partial *** introduction of the CS-TiO_(2) layer improved surface hydrophilicity and provided attachment sites for the Ag-AgBr *** PAN-ETA/CS-Ti0_(2)/Ag-AgBr photocatalytic membranes showed a relatively high water permeation flux(〜47 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1)·bar^(-1))and dyes rejection(methyl orange:88.22%;congo red:95%;methyl blue:97.41%;rose bengal:99.98%).Additionally,the composite membranes exhibited potential long-term stability for dye/salt separation(dye rejection:-97%;salt rejection:-6.5%).Moreover,the methylene blue and rhodamine B solutions(20 mL,10 mg·L^(-1))were degraded approximately 90.75% and 96.81% in batch mode via the synthesized photocatalytic membranes under visible light irradiation for 30 *** study provides a feasible method for the combination of polymeric membranes and inorganic catalytic materials.

Association between telomere length and survival in cancer patients： a meta-analysis and review of literature

The relationship between telomere length and cancer survival has been widely studied. To gain a deeper insight, we reviewed the published studies. A total of 29 studies evaluated telomere length in the peripheral blood; 22 studies evaluated telomere length in the tumor tissue. First, in the peripheral blood studies, for solid tumor patients with shortened telomere length, the combined hazard ratios （HRs） for mortality and tumor progression were 1.21 （95%CI, 1.10-1.32） and 1.71 （95%CI, 1.37-2.13）, respectively. Meanwhile, in hematology malignancy, the combined HRs for mortality and tumor progression were 2.83 （95%CI, 2.14-3.74） and 2.65 （95%CI, 2.18-3.22）, respectively. Second, in the studies that use tumor tissue, for patients with shortened telomeres, the combined HRs for mortality and tumor progression were 1.26 （95%CI, 0.95-1.66） and 1.65 （95%CI, 1.26-2.15）, respectively. In the studies that calculate the telomere length ratios of tumor tissue to adjacent normal mucosa, for patients with lower telomere length ratios, the combined HRs were 0.66 （95%CI, 0.53-0.83） and 0.74 （95%CI, 0.41-1.32） for mortality and tumor progression, respectively. In conclusion, shortened telomere in peripheral blood and tumor tissue might indicate poor survival for cancer patients. However, by calculating the telomere length ratios of tumor tissue to adjacent normal mucosa, the lower ratio might indicate better survival.

磷锰钠矿是一种罕见的磷酸盐矿物,国内目前尚无报道,特别是原生矿物,国内外均未发现。已有少量资料认为磷锰钠矿为磷锰锂矿经钠交代形成,为次生矿物。磷锰锂矿为伟晶岩中的常见矿物,普遍认为其为富磷伟晶岩中岩浆阶段的产物,为原生矿物。本文在茶卡北山稀有金属伟晶岩中发现有磷锰钠矿和发育在其上的磷锰锂矿,磷锰钠矿均表现为完整的矿物颗粒,不具交代残余的痕迹,并具有原生矿物特征的磷灰石蚀变;而磷锰锂矿为不规则状,发育在磷锰钠矿上,表现为典型的交代特征。同时电子探针数据显示磷锰钠矿的Mn/Fe值为1.692~1.875,磷锰锂矿的Mn/Fe值为2.519~2.548,这也指示了磷锰钠矿早于其上磷锰锂矿的形成,磷锰钠矿应为原生矿物,其上的磷锰锂矿为次生成因。而伟晶岩区成矿熔体成分更高的锰含量可能是磷锰钠矿出现的原因。磷锰钠矿上发育的磷锰锂矿和氟磷灰石蚀变特征反映了后期氧化作用和富Li、Mn、Ca、F流体的交代作用;同时结合区内锂辉石的蚀变,说明茶卡北山伟晶矿床内存在着锂的地球化学循环。

Comparison of CSC method and the B-net method for deducing smoothness condition

The first author of this paper established an approach to study the multivariate spline over arbitrary partition,and presented the so-called conformality method of smoothing cofactor(the CSC method).Farin introduced the B-net method which is suitable for studying the multivariate spline over simplex *** paper indicates that the smoothness conditions obtained in terms of the B-net method can be derived by the CSC method for the spline spaces over simplex partitions,and the CSC method is more capable in some sense than the B-net method in studying the multivariate spline.

Transcriptional modules related to hepatocellular carcinoma survival： coexpression network analysis

We performed weighted gene coexpression network analysis （WGCNA） to gain insights into the molecular aspects of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）. Raw microarray datasets （including 488 samples） were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus （GEO） website. Data were normalized using the RMA algorithm. We utilized the WGCNA to identify the coexpressed genes （modules） after non-specific filtering. Correlation and survival analyses were conducted using the modules, and gene ontology （GO） enrichment was applied to explore the possible mechanisms. Eight distinct modules were identified by the WGCNA. Pink and red modules were associated with liver function, whereas turquoise and black modules were inversely correlated with tumor staging. Poor outcomes were found in the low expression group in the turquoise module and in the high expression group in the red module. In addition, GO enrichment analysis suggested that inflammation, immune, virus-related, and interferon-mediated pathways were enriched in the turquoise module. Several potential biomarkers, such as cyclin-dependent kinase 1 （CDK1）, topoisomerase 2α （TOP2A）, and serpin peptidase inhibitor clade C （antithrombin） member 1 （SERPINC1）, were also identified. In conclusion, gene signatures identified from the genome-based assays could contribute to HCC stratification. WGCNA was able to identify significant groups of genes associated with cancer prognosis.

Assessment of liver volume variation to evaluate liver function

In order to assess the value of liver volumetry in cirrhosis and acute liver failure(ALF)patients,we explored the correlation between hepatic volume and severity of the hepatic *** clinical data of 48 cirrhosis patients with 60 normal controls and 39 ALF patients were *** tomography-derived liver volume(CTLV)and body surface area(BSA)of normal controls were calculated to get a regression formula for standard liver volume(SLV)and *** CTLV and SLV of all patients were calculated and grouped by Child-Turcotte-Pugh classification for cirrhosis patients and assigned according to prognosis of ALF patients for further *** turned out that the mean liver volume of the control group was 1058±337 cm^(3).SLV was correlated with BSA according to the regression *** hepatic volume of cirrhosis patients in Child A,B level was not reduced,but in Child C level it was significantly reduced with the lowest liver volume index(CTLV/SLV).Likewise,in the death group of ALF patients,the volume index was significantly lower than that of the survival *** on volumetric study,we proposed an ROC(receiver operating characteristic)analysis to predict the prognosis of ALF patients that CTLV/SLV<83.9% indicates a poor *** conclusion,the CTLV/SLV ratio,which reflects liver volume variations,correlates well with the liver function and progression of cirrhosis and *** is also a very useful marker for predicting the prognosis of ALF.

Liver transplantation versus liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma: a meta-analysis

BACKGROUND: Liver transplantation(LT) and liver resection(LR) are currently considered the standard treatment of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). However, the outcomes of LT and LR are still *** SOURCES: MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library were searched for relevant studies. Surgical safety indices such as treatment-related morbidity and mortality, and efficacy indices such as overall and tumor-free survival outcomes were evaluated. Weighted mean differences and odds ratios(ORs)were calculated using a random-effects ***: Seventeen studies were included in this *** achieved significantly higher rates of surgeryrelated morbidity(OR=1.47; 95% CI: 1.02-2.13) and mortality(OR=2.12; 95% CI: 1.11-4.05). Likewise, the 1-year survival rate was lower in LT(OR=0.86; 95% CI: 0.61-1.20). However, the 3-and 5-year survival rates were significantly higher in LT than in LR and the ORs were 1.12(95% CI: 0.96-1.30) in 3 years and1.84(95% CI: 1.49-2.28) in 5 years. Furthermore, the tumorfree survival rate in LT was significantly higher than that in LR in 1, 3, 5 years after surgery, with the ORs of 1.72(95% CI:1.24-2.41), 3.75(95% CI: 2.94-4.78) and 5.64(95% CI: 4.35-7.31),***: One-year morbidity and mortality are higher in LT than in LR for patients with HCC. However, long-term survival and tumor-free survival rates are higher in patients treated with LT than those treated with LR.
