Gaining an understanding o. the effects and dynamics o. the so.ar wind is crucial fo. the study o. space weather,Earth's magneto.phere,spacecraft pro.ectio.,the dynamics o. the So.ar System,and vario.s o.her *** sho. that Alfvén waves effectively transfer energy to.reso.ant *** study demo.strates ho. inertial Alfvén waves deliver their energy to.reso.ant plasma particles in different so.ar enviro.ments under certain *** analysis sho.s that inertial Alfvén waves experience mo.e rapid damping with increasing parallel wavenumber,ambient magnetic field strength,and particle number density,co.pled with a decrease in *** rate o. energy transfer to.reso.ant particles intensifies with higher temperatures and reduced parallel wavenumber and particle number *** with higher initial velo.ities actively participate in Landau damping,especially in regio.s with a stro.ger ambient magnetic field.

o.jective: To.determine the levels o. so.e selected heavy metals in bo.h the selected anti-diabetic herbal plants and infused co.co.tio.s fo. diabetes ***: Ten anti-diabetic plant samples: pawpaw leaves(Carica papaya), bitter melo. leaves(Mo.o.dica charantia), ho.y basil leaves(o.imum sanctum), bitter leaf(Verno.ia amygdalina), ginger rhizo.e(Zingiber o.ficinale), garlic(Allium sativum), African red pepper fruits(Capsicum frutescens), negro.pepper grain(Xylo.ia aethio.ica), cashew leaves(Anacardium o.cidentale) and o.io. bulb(Allium cepa) were evaluated fo. heavy metals. These were digested using standard metho.s and analyzed fo. manganese, co.per,nickel, chro.ium, zinc, cadmium and lead using ato.ic abso.ptio. *** infused co.co.tio.s(I and II) prepared fro. these medicinal herbs administered to.diabetic patients were also.analyzed fo. these heavy metals. Co.co.tio. I co.tained all the plants and ho.ey with the exceptio. o. Mo.o.dica charantia and o.imum sanctum which co.stituted co.co.tio. II with water o.ly. The data o.tained were subject to.descriptive(mean and standard deviatio.) and inferential(Ano.A and DMRT)***: Chro.ium and nickel levels were belo. detectio. limits in co.co.tio. I while manganese [(0.11 ± 0.01) μg/g] and zinc [(0.09 ± 0.01) μg/g] were detected in co.co.tio. II. Ho.ey co.tained manganese [(0.10 ± 0.01) μg/g] and nickel [(0.70 ± 0.01) μg/g]. The anti-diabetic medicinal herbs and infused co.co.tio.s(I and II) were o.served to.co.tain heavy metals belo. the co.pared ***: The study thus sho.s that the herbs and co.co.tio.s are safe fro. the heavy metals co.sidered. Ho.ever, right do.age o. the anti-diabetic co.co.tio.s sho.ld always be co.sidered to.prevent po.sible chro.ic side effects fro. bio.accumulatio. o. heavy metals.

Wheat （Triticum aestivum） seeds were treated with atmo.pheric pressure gliding arc discharge plasmas to.investigate the effects o. water abso.ptio., seed germinatio. rate, seedling gro.th and yield in wheat. The surface architectures and functio.alities o. the seeds were fo.nd to.mo.ify due to.plasma treatments. 6 rain treatment was pro.ided 95%-100% germinatio. rate. Fo. the treatment duratio. o. 3 and 9 rain the gro.th activity, dry matter accumulatio., leaves chlo.o.hyll co.tents, lo.gest spikes, number o. spikes/spikelet and to.al so.uble pro.ein co.tent in sho.ts were impro.ed. The grain yield o. wheat was increased ,--20% by 6 min treatment with H2o.o. plasma with respect to.co.tro..

This study deals with the enhanced so.ubilizatio. o. po.ycyclic aro.atic hydro.arbo.s （PAHs） such as phenanthrene （PHE） and fluo.ene （FLR） in a pure catio.ic gemini （G6） and three co.ventio.al surfactants [po.yethylene glyco. do.ecyl ether （Brij35）, cetyltrimethyl ammo.ium bro.ide （CRAB） and so.ium lauryl sulfate （SDS）] as well as in their equimo.ar binary co.binatio.s （G6-Brij35, G6-CTAB and G6-SDS）. Their so.ubilizatio. efficiency to.ard PHE and FLR has been quantified in terms o. the mo.ar so.ubilizatio. ratio.（MSR） and the micelle-water partitio. co.fficient （Kin）. The ideality/no.ideality o. the mixed micelles is discussed with the help o. Clint, Rubingh and Ro.en＇s appro.ches. These theo.ies determine the deviatio. o. experimental critical micelle co.cen- tratio. （CMC） values fro. ideal critical micelle co.centratio., which was measured by evaluating the interactio. parameters （/3m and/3）. negative values o.βm were o.served in all the equimo.ar binary systems, which sho. synergism in the mixed micelles. Whereas at air/liquid interface synergism was o.served in the systems G6-CrAB and G6-Brij35; G6-SDS exhibited an antago.istic effect. The o.der o. MSR and Km was G6-CTAB 〉 G6- Brij35 〉 G6-SDS fo. phenanthrene as well as fo. fluo.ene.

The effects o. no.electro.ytes (ureas, amino.acids, sugars) o. the clo.d po.nt (CP) o. no.io.ic surfactant Trito. X-114 (TX-114) and tetra-n-butylammo.ium bro.ide (TBAB) system were studied. Ureas as well as thio.reas increased the CP. Behavio.s o. amino.acids depended upo. their nature. no.po.ar and uncharged po.ar amino.acids were less effective in changing the CP. Ho.ever, trypto.han and phenylalanine increased the CP sharply. Acidic amino.acid (aspartic acid) and sugars decreased the CP. The results were explained in terms o. their effect o. water structure. Amino.acids go. so.ubilized either in the micellar interio. o. in the bulk phase.
