Multi-objective optimization for membrane reactor for steam methane reforming heated by molten salt

A membrane reactor for steam methane reforming heated by molten salt(MS-SMRMR)is studied based on finite time thermodynamics for decreasing carbon emissions and improving hydrogen production rate(HPR).Effects of flow directions of sweep gas and molten salt on MS-SMRMR are *** of temperatures,HPR,and local entropy generation rates(EGRs)of MS-SMRMR are *** particle swarm optimization algorithm is utilized to obtain the minimum of specific EGR(SEGR),ratio of EGR to ***-objective optimization about HPR maximization and EGR minimization is performed by utilizing *** EGR caused by the mass transfer process is the largest among all irreversible processes in the *** membrane length should be slightly shorter than the reactor length when the flow direction of sweep gas is different from that of reaction *** flow directions of molten salt and sweep gas are opposite to that of reaction mixture,SEGR is the *** with SEGR calculated by utilizing initial parameters,SEGRs after primary,twice and triple optimizations reduce by 1.2%,5.5%and 5.7%,*** can be further decreased by adjusting other operating *** front provides many optimization results,and it contains SEGR *** Pareto front,an optimum decision point is obtained based on decision-making of TOPSIS,and its EGR and HPR,respectively,increase by 7.12%and13.24%,compared with those obtained by using initial *** results have certain theoretical guiding significance for optimization designs of MS-SMRMR.

Total entropy generation rate minimization configuration of a membrane reactor of methanol synthesis via carbon dioxide hydrogenation

With the rapid social and economic development of the Tibet Autonomous Region,the situation in regard to energy supply and demand is increasingly ***,the development of renewable energy in Tibet has been given considerable practical significance by its peculiar ecological *** the complementarity of renewable energies in Tibet,using the method of factor analysis,we derived four major factors:level of economic development,social development,industrial development,and energy endowment,which help to evaluate development conditions in different regions of *** these four factors equally,we used the hierarchical clustering method to determine the order of regional *** we acquire a three-stage planning project for renewable *** the first stage,Lhasa plays a leading role in promoting the development of renewable energy,particularly that based on solar and wind *** are two phases in the second stage,the first being to simultaneously develop solar and wind energy in Xigaze and *** second is to develop solar and wind energy in accordance with the time of year in Qamdo,Nagqu,and Ali,with 1.145billion kWh electricity to be *** third stage is to develop energy production in Lhoka Prefecture,with 1.369billion kWh electricity to be *** the end of the three-stage project,consumption of available electricity will have reached 4.045 billion kwh,with major social and economic benefits.

A novel elastoplastic model for Yunnan sandstone under poly-axial loading

3D DEM simulation of hard rock fracture in deep tunnel excavation induced by changes in principal stress magnitude and orientation

To achieve the loading of the stress path of hard rock,the spherical discrete element model(DEM)and the new flexible membrane technology were utilized to realize the transient loading of three principal stresses with arbitrary magnitudes and ***,based on the deep tunnel of China Jinping Underground Laboratory II(CJPL-II),the deformation and fracture evolution characteristics of deep hard rock induced by excavation stress path were analyzed,and the mechanisms of transient loading-unloading and stress rotation-induced fractures were revealed from a mesoscopic *** results indicated that the stressestrain curve exhibits different trends and degrees of sudden changes when subjected to transient changes in principal stress,accompanied by sudden changes in strain *** rotation induces spatially directional deformation,resulting in fractures of different degrees and orientations,and increasing the degree of deformation *** correlation between the degree of induced fracture and the unloading magnitude of minimum principal stress,as well as its initial level is significant and *** process of mechanical response during transient unloading exhibits clear nonlinearity and *** transient unloading,both the minimum principal stress and minimum principal strain rate decrease sharply and then tend to *** occurs from the edge to the interior and from the direction of the minimum principal stress to the direction of the maximum principal stress on theε1-ε3 *** unloading will induce a tensile stress *** ability to induce fractures due to changes in principal stress magnitude,orientation and rotation paths gradually *** analysis indicates a positive correlation between the abrupt change amplitude of strain rate and the maximum unloading magnitude,which is determined by the magnitude and rotation of principal stress.A high tensile strain rate is more likely to induce fractures u

Surrounding rocks at different locations are generally subjected to different stress paths during the process of deep hard rock *** this study,to reveal the mechanical parameters of deep surrounding rock under different stress paths,a new cyclic loading and unloading test method for controlled true triaxial loading and unloading and principal stress direction interchange was proposed,and the evolution of mechanical parameters of Shuangjiangkou granite under different stress paths was studied,including the deformation modulus,elastic deformation increment ratios,fracture degree,cohesion and internal friction ***,stress path coefficient was defined to characterize different stress paths,and the functional relationships among the stress path coefficient,rock fracture degree difference coefficient,cohesion and internal friction angle were *** results show that during the true triaxial cyclic loading and unloading process,the deformation modulus and cohesion gradually decrease,while the internal friction angle gradually increases with increasing equivalent crack *** stress path coefficient is exponentially related to the rock fracture degree difference *** the stress path coefficient increases,the degrees of cohesion weakening and internal friction angle strengthening decrease *** cyclic loading and unloading under true triaxial principal stress direction interchange,the direction of crack development changes,and the deformation modulus increases,while the cohesion and internal friction angle decrease slightly,indicating that the principal stress direction interchange has a strengthening effect on the surrounding ***,the influences of the principal stress interchange direction on the stabilities of deep engineering excavation projects are discussed.

Spirodiclofen Derivatives as Highly Potential Acaricides: Synthesis, Structure and Bioactivity

A series of new compounds as highly potential acaricides was synthesized based on the structure of spiro-diclofen. Their structures were identified by 1H NMR spectroscopy and element analysis. The bioassay indicated that most of the compounds exhibited excellent acaricidal activities, what’s more, the bioactivities of some new compounds were better than that of the commercial spirodiclofen at a concentration of 20 μg/mL. The relationship between structure and biological activity was also discussed.

WAPN:a distributed wormhole attack detection approach for wireless sensor networks

As the applications of wireless sensor networks(WSNs) diversify,providing secure communication is emerging as a critical requirement. In this paper,we investigate the detection of wormhole attack,a serious security issue for WSNs. Wormhole attack is difficult to detect and prevent,as it can work without compromising sensor nodes or breaching the encryption key. We present a wormhole attack detection approach based on the probability distribution of the neighboring-node-number,WAPN,which helps the sensor nodes to judge distributively whether a wormhole attack is taking place and whether they are in the in-fluencing area of the attack. WAPN can be easily implemented in resource-constrained WSNs without any additional requirements,such as node localization,tight synchronization,or directional antennas. WAPN uses the neighboring-node-number as the judging criterion,since a wormhole usually results in a significant increase of the neighboring-node-number due to the extra attacking link. Firstly,we model the distribution of the neighboring-node-number in the form of a Bernoulli distribution. Then the model is simplified to meet the sensor nodes' constraints in computing and memory capacity. Finally,we propose a simple method to obtain the threshold number,which is used to detect the existence of a wormhole. Simulation results show that WAPN is effective under the conditions of different network topologies and wormhole parameters.

A deep dense captioning framework with joint localization and contextual reasoning

Dense captioning aims to simultaneously localize and describe regions-of-interest(RoIs)in images in natural ***,we identify three key problems:1)dense and highly overlapping RoIs,making accurate localization of each target region challenging;2)some visually ambiguous target regions which are hard to recognize each of them just by appearance;3)an extremely deep image representation which is of central importance for visual *** tackle these three challenges,we propose a novel end-to-end dense captioning framework consisting of a joint localization module,a contextual reasoning module and a deep convolutional neural network(CNN).We also evaluate five deep CNN structures to explore the benefits of *** experiments on visual genome(VG)dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach,which compares favorably with the state-of-the-art methods.
