Temporary storage/shipping of cell/tissue engineering products from bench to bedside is a key aspect of re-generative *** current proof-of-concept study presents a multipurpose device for temporary storage/shipping of cell culture dishes containing cell/tissue *** device,made with readily available raw ma-terials,contains three elements viz.a specialized lid,polymeric plates having grooves and a set of nuts and *** part of the performance evaluation,the device was first subjected to a simulated storage/shipping process,wherein the leak-proof and aseptic containment of the contents was ***,the setup was used for temporary storage/shipping of dishes having(a)L929 cell monolayers cultured on treated surfaces,(b)SIrC,HaCaT and A549 cell sheets cultured on thermo-responsive surfaces,(c)HOS-cell encapsulated agar gels and(d)HOS-cell seeded silk fibroin *** results showed that the health of cell monolayers/cell sheets/tissue constructs after the process was comparable to that before the *** device was scalable,simple to handle,can be made for a single or multi-use purpose,and can be resizable to load other culture *** design of the storage/shipping device described in this report thus offers versatile features and applications.

Flexible spin valves were prepared by magnetron sputtering on polyimide substrates. The buffer layer that reduces significantly the effect of the polymer substrate on the spin valve microstructure and magnetoresistive properties was revealed. Bending deformation was applied to the microobjects based on the flexible spin valves in parallel to anisotropy axes. It was revealed that during the bend the magnetoresistance changes due to the joint impact of both the change of the magnetic field projection on the film plane and the change of the magnetic properties of the ferromagnetic layers. The obtained dependences have been used in construction of bending sensor, in which the flexible spin valve microstripes were united into the Wheatstone bridge.

In this paper,it presents the results of calculation of solidification process of copper continuous cast bar by cross section size 120 mm × 70 mm with application of Pro Cast 2010 software. The estimation of mould design effect on solidification process of continuos copper cast bar is completed at various speeds of *** of liquid metal cavities and temperature allocations in the cast bar at various casting speeds are *** analysis of received liquid metal cavity profiles shows that a new mold construction allows significantly decrease of the length of the liquid metal cavity during continuous copper casting at HAZELETTcasting machine and the increase of maximum casting speed from 10 to 11 m / min. Adequacy of the results of copper continuous cast bar solidification process calculation is confirmed by the experimental data.

Cel-xSmxO2 （x=0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3） and Sm-doped ceria＋（2%-8%）Al2O3 were synthesized through sol-gel process followed by low temperature combustion. The synthesis, structure, densification, conductivity and thermal expansion were studied, and the structure and phase were confirmed by XrD. Dense ceramics were obtained through sintering the pellets at 1300 ℃. 2% and 4% Al2O3 were added into Ce0.8Sm0.2O2 to promote the densification at 1250 ℃. The surface morphology of the sintered pellets was analyzed using SEM. A two-probe AC impedance spectroscopy was used to study the total ionic conductivity.

High resolution spectral analysis of lithium plasma formed by single and double laser ablation has been undertaken to understand the plume-laser interaction, especially at the early stages of the plasma plume. In order to identify different atomic processes in evolving plasma, time resolved spectral emission studies at different inter-pulse delays have been performed for ionic and neutral lithium lines emitting from different levels. Along with the enhancement in emission intensity, a large line broadening and spectral shift, especially in the case of excited state transition Li I 610.3 nm have been observed in the presence of the second pulse. This broadening and shift gradually decrease with increasing time delay. Another interesting feature is the appearance of a multi-component structure in the ionic line at 548.4 nm and these components change conversely into a single structure at the later stages of the plasma. The multi-component structures are correlated with the presence of different velocity （temperature） distributions in non-LTE conditions. Atomic analyses by computing photon emissivity coefficients with an ADAS code have been used to identify the above processes.

In the present work, 6082 Al alloy has been rolled to 40% and 70% thickness reductions at the cryogenic and room temperatures for the improvement in mechanical and fracture toughness properties. All cryorolled samples are subjected to aging at different temperatures, i.e., 140, 160, and 190 ℃ to improve the strength, ductility, and fracture toughness. The microstructures of the cryorolled （Cr） and room temperature rolled （rTr） alloy after 40% and 70% thickness reductions are characterized by FE-SEM to reveal the modes of failure. The results show that the starting bulk Al alloy specimen is fractured in total ductile manner, consisting of well-developed dimples over the entire surface. The mechanical properties and fracture toughness of the 70% Cr alloy are found better than 70% rTr alloy due to higher dislocations density and formation of sub-grain structures in the Cr alloy.

Data packet drop can happen in Optical Burst-Switched(OBS)when two data bursts are competing on the same ***,many techniques have been developed to solve this problem but they do not consider the ***,it is necessary to balance the load system in the OBS *** Ant Colony Optimization(ACO)technique can be applied to determine the straight and the safest ***,the ACO technique raises both power utilization as well as the execution *** this study,Cuckoo Search(CS)and ACO methods based approach is proposed to avoid the congestion and load balancing in the OBS *** strategy evaluates the intensity of hotspot data and then launches the congestion rate optimization process that depends on their load *** congestion rate optimization represents the available bandwidth,data distribution rate,queue size,and access rate,and also these factors are optimized through the CS *** fitness utility in the CS technique adjusts the distribution rate in the OBS network,and the proposed ACO technique solves the energy utilization *** simulation results proved that the presented strategy evades both the end-to-end delay as well as the possibility of packet drop.

A single-room,single-storey full-scale brick masonry building with precast rC roofing system was tested thrice under displacement controlled lateral cyclic loading,to assess the effectiveness of the basic repair and seismic strengthening ***,the virgin building specimen was loaded laterally to f^*** the second stage,the damaged building was repaired by stitching across the cracks,and tested under the same lateral *** the third stage,the twice-damaged structure was repaired once more by stitching and strengthened by twin lintel belt in steel and vertical comer reinforcement, and *** building strengthened by twin lintel belt in steel showed about 28% higher strength under lateral loading than the virgin building.
