＜正＞We have found that,for Si dots individually charged with a few electrons or holes,characteristic potential profiles with a dimple around the center of the charged Si dot are observed and can be interpreted in terms of the Coulomb repulsion among the charges retained in the dot. By an introduction of Ge core in Si dots,holes can be well-confined in the Ge core while electrons are stored in the Si clad because of the energy band discontinuity at the interface between the Si clad and the Ge *** influence of ionized impurity doping to Si-QDs on their electron charging and discharging characteristics has also been *** metal-oxide-semiconductor（MOS） capacitors and n-channel MOS field-effect-transistors （n-MOSFETs） with Si-QDs floating gates,distinct multiple-step charging to（or discharging from） the Si-QDs floating gate have been confirmed at room temperature,which are regulated presumably by redistribution of injected electrons in the Si-QDs floating gate for further electron injection（or emission）.

Natural Image Matting with Attended Global Context

Image matting is to estimate the opacity of foreground objects from an image. A few deep learning based methods have been proposed for image matting and perform well in capturing spatially close information. However, these methods fail to capture global contextual information, which has been proved essential in improving matting performance. This is because a matting image may be up to several megapixels, which is too big for a learning-based network to capture global contextual information due to the limit size of a receptive field. Although uniformly downsampling the matting image can alleviate this problem, it may result in the degradation of matting performance. To solve this problem, we introduce a natural image matting with the attended global context method to extract global contextual information from the whole image, and to condense them into a suitable size for learning-based network. Specifically, we first leverage a deformable sampling layer to obtain condensed foreground and background attended images respectively. Then, we utilize a contextual attention layer to extract information related to unknown regions from condensed foreground and background images generated by a deformable sampling layer. Besides, our network predicts a background as well as the alpha matte to obtain more purified foreground, which contributes to better qualitative performance in composition. Comprehensive experiments show that our method achieves competitive performance on both Composition-1k and the *** benchmark quantitatively and qualitatively.

A Novel Friedel-Crafts Acylation Reaction of Anisole for Production of 4-Methoxyacetophenone with High Selectivity and Sufficient Reusability of Mordenite Zeolite Catalyst

Zeolite catalyzed Friedel-Crafts reactions were examined using acetic anhydride as an acetylating agent and an acetic acid as a solvent. It revealed that the reaction of anisole smoothly occurred quantitatively for 3 h using mordenite zeolite with SiO2/Al2O3 = 200, and with SiO2/Al2O3 = 110, the increasing of Br?nsted acidity allowed to completely react within 2 h. Furthermore the selectivity of 4-methoxyacetophenone (4-MA) among the isomers was found to be quantitative, no by-products and/or isomers were not detectable. With the excellent recyclability and reusability, the mordenite zeolite exhibited at least 30 times quantitatively both conversion of anisole and selectivity of 4-MA. The mordenite catalysts of fresh and the used after 30 times were characterized. This opportunity obviously indicates the sufficient shape selective catalyst of mordenite zeolite and gives a green synthetic tool for heterogeneous acylation reaction.

There are a variety of elementary and collective terahertz-frequency excitations in condensed matter whose magnetic field dependence contains significant insight into the states and dynamics of the electrons ***,determining the frequency,temperature,and magnetic field dependence of the optical conductivity tensor,especially in high magnetic fields,can clarify the microscopic physics behind complex many-body behaviors of *** there are advanced terahertz spectroscopy techniques as well as high magnetic field generation techniques available,a combination of the two has only been realized relatively ***,we review the current state of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy(THz-TDS)experiments in high magnetic *** start with an overview of time-domain terahertz detection schemes with a special focus on how they have been incorporated into optically accessible high-field *** and disadvantages of different types of magnets in performing THz-TDS experiments are also ***,we highlight some of the new fascinating physical phenomena that have been revealed by THz-TDS in high magnetic fields.

＜正＞Small-scale reactor named IMR （Integrated Modular Water Reactor） is beingdeveloped in Japan. The primary strategy in the development of small-scale reactors isto construct a new design concept which satisfies the requirements of enhanced safetyand construction cost reduction. For this goal, a reactor vessel with an integratedprimary system configuration is chosen as the most optimum reactor configuration inthe present work. This configuration adopts natural circulation and self-pressurizationsystems, which eliminate pressurizer, reactor coolant pumps and all main coolantpipes. In addition to these basic designs, we have also developed new concepts whichenhance safety and reduce construction cost as well. These incorporate the ideas ofHybrid Heat Transport System （HHTS） and Stand-alone Direct Heat Removal System（SDHS）. The HHTS has been designed to keep the stable and safe control of powerand system pressure. The SDHS was proposed to remove the decay heat directly fromthe reactor vessel to the atmosphere in case of accident.

The Malayan Night Heron (Gorsachius melanolophus) inhabits a range of tropical and subtropical zones in South,Southeast and East *** this heron breeds singularly in dense forests,its detailed ecology is not well known and only piecemeal information on its diet is ***,we quantitatively estimated its diet menu with an analysis of pellets and stomach contents in the subtropical Yaeyama Islands of southern *** results showed that the heron frequently foraged on land snails,arachnids,freshwater crabs and insects;no fish were *** the earthworm was believed to be a primary dietary source of this species,it was not detected in our results,as it does not remain in pellets due to its high *** indicated that this bird dominantly depends on soil animals that inhabit humid forest *** the heron does not directly utilize aquatic habitats,they likely prefer moist forests caused by watery environments such as streams and *** forests should be conserved for maintaining populations of this heron species.
