Current status of laparoscopic repeat liver resection for recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma

Repeat liver resection(RLR)is an effective treatment approach for recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and can provide acceptable long-term outcomes in select *** randomized controlled trials comparing RLR with radiofrequency ablation revealed that the latter approach was associated with a higher rate of early recurrence compared with *** recent advances in laparoscopic liver resection(LLR),RLR has been increasingly performed using *** propensity score-matched studies reported that laparoscopic RLR achieved lower blood loss and shorter hospital stays compared to open ***,laparoscopic RLR requires more advanced techniques because of adhesions formed after the previous liver resection,changes in anatomical landmarks,and deformity of the remnant *** recently described difficulty classification of laparoscopic RLR is based on five factors including type of previous liver resection(open or laparoscopic),number of previous liver resections,surgical procedure used in previous liver resections,tumor location in previous liver resections,and difficulty score of LLR for recurrent *** reviewed the available literature to summarize available evidence suggesting that laparoscopic RLR might be considered a more minimally invasive surgical treatment approach for recurrent HCC as long as the indication for laparoscopic RLR is carefully determined.

A convenient and widely applicable method has been developed to clone aniline metabolic gene cluster in this study. Three positive recombinant plasmids pDA1, pDB2 and pDB11 were cloned from genomic library of aniline degradation strain AD9. The result of aniline dioxygenase (AD) activity and catechol 2,3-oxygenase (C23O) activity assay showed that pDA1 and pDB11 contain aniline dioxy-genase genes and catechol 2,3-dioxygenase genes, respectively. The sequence analysis of the total 24.7-kb region revealed that this region contains 25 ORFs, of which 17 genes involve metabolism of aniline. In the gene cluster, the first five genes (tadQTA1A2B) and the subsequent gene (tadR1) were pre-dicted to encode a multi-component aniline dioxygenase and a LysR-type regulator, respectively, while the others (tadD1C1D2C2EFGIJkL) were expected to encode meta- cleavage pathway enzymes for catechol degradation. The gene cluster was surrounded by two IS1071 sequences.

＜正＞ In this paper, we examine TINA and its potential as wholistic management architecture. The architecture principles derived from ODP and those described in the baseline documents. TIMNA, an evolution from TINA, with its right emphasis on the built-in management structure in TINA, provides a technosphere, a technical ecosphere where a set of abstract management policies are implemented and feedbacks are reflected back through the use of distributed management intelligence. Structured IP management architecture is based on the integration of （1） policy-based management and （2） information models derived from TINA. The structured IP management architecture serves as an intermediate evolutionary step from TINA toward TIMNA, realizing a TINA-based end-to-end management for IP-based networking.

＜正＞We have studied that pre-exposure to the change of environment such as radiation,UV and heat at low doses induces resistance and tolerance to the environment through p53-cetrated signal transduction pathways in most kinds of organisms. In radiation, pre-irradiation with low dose or low dose-rate induces radio-resistance in the cultured cells and whole body in mice. The radiation-responsive molecule p53 acts important roles in radiation effects through apoptosis, DNA repair, cell cycle control, aging, malformation and carcinogenesis. On the other hand, the p53 gene status of cancer cells decides the radiation sensitivity, heat sensitivity and anti-tumor-drug sensitivity. Therefore, the investigation of the p53 gene status may be a useful for the decision of cancer therapy methods from predictive assay of tailored made therapy. We also found the accumulation of p53 molecules after exposure to space and cold environments. From these findings, we have to progress the molecular function of p53 from the interaction among proteins by using proteomics techniques.
