Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)is mostly used for position verification during thetreatrment ***,severe image artifacts in CBCT hinder its direct use in dosecalculation and adaptive radiation therapy re-planning for proton *** this study,animproved U-Net neural network named CBAM-U-Net was proposed for CBCT noise reductioninproton therapy which is a GBCT denoised U-Net network with convolutional block *** datasets contained 20 groups of head and neck *** CT images wereregistered to CBCT images as ground *** original CBCT denoised U-Net network,sCTU-Net,was trained for model performance *** synthetic CT(sCT)images generated byCBAM-U-Net and the original sCTU-Net are called CBAM-sCT and U-Net-sCT images,*** HU accuracies of the CT,GBCT,and sCT images were compared using fourmetrics:mean absolute error(MAE),root mean square error(rMsE),peak signal-to-noise ratio(PsNr),and structure simila rity index measure(ssIM).The mean values of the MAE,rMsE,PsNr,and ssIM of CBAM-sCT images were 23.80 HU,64.63 HU,52.27 dB,and 09919,respectively,which were superior to those of the U-Net-sCT *** evaluate dosimetricaccuracy,the range accuracy was compared for a single-energy proton *** r-index passrates ofa 4 cm X 4 cm scanned field and simple plan were calculated to compare the effects of thenoise reduction capabilities of the original U-Net and CBAM-U-Net on the dose ***-U-Net reduced noise more effectively than sCTU-Net,particularly in *** proposed a CBAM-U-Net model for CBCT noise reduction in proton *** tothe excellent noise reduction capabilities of CBAM-U-Net,the proposed model provided relativelyexplicit information rega rding patient ***,it maybe be used in dose calculation andadaptive treatment planning in the future.

A molten salt reactor(Msr)has outstanding features considering the application of thorium fuel,inherent safety,sustainability,and resistance to ***,fissile material^(233)U is significantly rare at the current stage,thus it is difficult for Msr to achieve a pure thorium-uranium fuel ***,using plutonium or enriched uranium as the initial fuel for Msr is more *** this study,we aim to verify the feasibility of a small modular Msr that utilizes plutonium as the starting fuel(sM-Msr-Pu),and highlight its advantages and ***,the structural design and fuel management scheme of the sM-Msr-Pu were ***,the neutronic characteristics,such as the graphite-irradiation lifetime,burn-up performance,and coefficient of temperature reactivity were calculated to analyze the physical characteristics of the *** results indicate that plutonium is a feasible and advantageous starting fuel for a sM-Msr;however,there are certain shortcomings that need to be *** a 250 MWth sM-Msr-Pu,approximately 288.64 kg^(233)U of plutonium with a purity of greater than 90% is produced while 978.00 kg is burned every ten *** temperature reactivity coefficient decreases from -4.0 to -6.5 pcm k^(-1) over the 50-year operating time,which ensures a long-term safe ***,the amount of plutonium and accumulation of minor actinides(MAs)would increase as the burn-up time increases,and the annual production and purity of^(233)U will *** achieve an optimal burn-up performance,setting the entire operation time to 30 years is ***,more than 3600 kg of plutonium eventually accumulate in the *** research is required to effectively utilize this accumulated plutonium.

The function of solid electrolytes and the composition of solid electrolyte interphase(sEI)are highly significant for inhibiting the growth of Li ***,we report an in-situ interfacial passivation combined with self-adaptability strategy to reinforce Li_(0.33)La_(0.557)TiO_(3)(LLTO)-based solid-state ***,a functional sEI enriched with LiF/Li_(3)PO_(4) is formed by in-situ electrochemical conversion,which is greatly beneficial to improving interface compatibility and enhancing ion *** the polarized dielectric BaTiO_(3)-polyamic acid(BTO-PAA,BP)film greatly improves the Li-ion transport kinetics and homogenizes the Li *** expected,the resulting electrolyte offers considerable ionic conductivity at room temperature(4.3 x 10~(-4)s cm^(-1))and appreciable electrochemical decomposition voltage(5.23 V)after electrochemical *** Li-LiFePO_(4) batteries,it shows a high specific capacity of 153 mA h g^(-1)at 0.2C after 100 cycles and a long-term durability of 115 mA h g^(-1)at 1.0 C after 800 ***,a stable Li plating/stripping can be achieved for more than 900 h at 0.5 mA cm^(-2).The stabilization mechanisms are elucidated by ex-situ XrD,ex-situ XPs,and ex-situ FTIr techniques,and the corresponding results reveal that the interfacial passivation combined with polarization effect is an effective strategy for improving the electrochemical *** present study provides a deeper insight into the dynamic adjustment of electrode-electrolyte interfacial for solid-state lithium batteries.

Based on the global reanalysis data of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)/National Center for Atmospheric research,the surface meteorological observation data,sounding data and satellite observation data,this paper comprehensively analyzes the evolution process and formation mechanism of a persistent severe dense fog process occurred on February 15–17,2015 in yancheng,eastern *** the numerical simulation experiment of Weather research and Forecast(WrF)model,we further analyze the impact of sea-land breeze on the formation and burst reinforcement of *** show that the precipitation caused by the southwesterly airflow in front of the upper-level trough and the low-pressure inverted trough are conducive to the formation of early rain fog,while the nighttime clear radiance under the control of surface cold high and the infiltration of weak cold advection are conducive to the formation and development of later radiation-advection *** WrF model simulates the fog evolution process,which is basically consistent with the actual fog area,and the simulation results are credible to a certain *** simulation results show that the establishment of sea breeze has an advection cooling effect on the near surface layer,which is conducive to the formation and development of the inversion layer on the near surface,providing stable stratification conditions for the formation and burst reinforcement of *** one hand,the strengthening of sea breeze circulation can continuously transport water vapor to the study *** the other,the occurrence of ultra-low level jet is favorable for the accumulation of low-level water *** the same time,the inversion intensity further strengthens,which is in favor of the burst reinforcement and long-term maintenance of fog.
