Colorectal cancer(CRC) is the third most common cancer diagnosed worldwide in human beings. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted therapiesare the conventional four approaches which are currently used for the treatment of CRC. The site specific delivery of chemotherapeutics to their site of action would increase effectiveness with reducing side effects. Targeted oral drug delivery systems based on polysaccharides are being investigated to target and deliver chemotherapeutic and chemopreventive agents directly to colon and rectum. Site-specific drug delivery to colon increases its concentration at the target site, and thus requires a lower dose and hence abridged side effects. Some novel therapies are also briefly discussed in article such as receptor(epidermal growth factor receptor, folate receptor, wheat germ agglutinin, VEGF receptor, hyaluronic acid receptor) based targeting therapy; colon targeted proapoptotic anticancer drug delivery system, gene therapy. Even though good treatment options are available for CRC, the ultimate therapeutic approach is to avert the incidence of CRC. It was also found that CRCs could be prevented by diet and nutrition such as calcium, vitamin D, curcumin, quercetin and fish oil supplements. Immunotherapy and vaccination are used nowadays which are showing better results against CRC.

The current research was investigated the mechanism of coal demineralization and the effect of leaching parameters on high ash coal and study the characterization of pre and post-treated coal. The two high ash Indian coal selected from Mahanadi Coalfield Limited, Odisha, pulverized to 375, 230 and 180 gm particle size were undergone simultaneous acid and alkali treatment at a different concentration, temperature and time. The percent demineralization was increased with decrease the size of the particle and rises with leaching parameters. The investigation suggested 180 μm particle size offers efficient demineralization for both coals at 30% NaOH and 30% H2SO4 concentration. The alkali leaching leads to obtaining the demineralization 46% and 42% whereas acid treatment resulted in 34% and 32% of the original coal samples. The extent of demineralization was improved the calorific value of coal. Besides, the degree of demineralization was proved from the FTIR, XRF and FESEM-EDX analysis results. FTIR analysis result showed that the peak intensity of mineral band decreased by the leaching effect and the degree of demineralization was significantly obtained to large extent by the X-ray Fluorescence spectrometer; which elucidates major minerals removed from coal by the leaching effect of acid and alkali solution.

Theoretical and experimental studies associated with electric field effectson the stability and transport are briefly surveyed. The effects of radial electric field on thesuppression and/or enhancement of various microinstabilities such as drift waves, flute mode andtemperature gradient modes are discussed. The suppression of flow shear on the electron temperaturegradient mode in plasmas with slightly hollow density profiles is investigated by solving thegyrokinetic integral eigenvalue equation. Comparison between theoretical predictions andexperimental observations based on the HIBP measurements with high temporal and spatial resolutionsis made in bumpy tori and heliotron (CHS) devices.

Soil erosion affects land qualities and water *** problem is severe in Ethiopia due to its topographic *** present research was aimed to estimate spatiotemporal changes in land-use/land-cover pattern and soil erosion in the Yezat watershed in *** study was carried out by using landsat imageries of 2001,2010 and *** were classified into categories using supervised classification by maximum likelihood *** were also classified into different biomass levels by using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)*** Universal Soil Loss Equation modeling was applied in a GIS environment to quantify the potential soil erosion *** area under grassland,woodland and homesteads have increased by 610.69(4%),101.69(0.67%)and 126.6 ha(0.83%)during *** extent of cultivated land and shrub/bushland was reduced by 323.43(0.02%)and 515.44 ha(3.41%),respectively,during the same *** vegetation cover in the watershed decreased by 91% during 2001-2010,and increased by 88% during *** of NDVI values indicates better ground cover due to implementation of integrated watershed development program in the *** estimated annual soil losses were 7.2 t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in 2001,7.7t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in 2010 and 4.8t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) in *** interventions are necessary to improve the status and utilization of watershed resources in response to sustainable land management practices for sustainable livelihood of the local people.

Nickel and chromium coatings were produced using plasma spraying and laser remelting on the copper sheet. The corrosion test was carried out in an acidic atmosphere, and the corrosive behaviors of both coatings and original copper samples were investigated by using an impedance comparison method. Experimental results show that nickel and chromium coatings display better corrosion resistance properties relative to the original pure copper sample. The corrosion rate of chromium coating is less than that of nickel coating, and corrosion resistances of laser remelted nickel and chromium samples are better than those of plasma sprayed samples. The corrosion deposit film of copper is loose compared with nickel and chromium.

The presence of inflammation in dry eye disease(DED)results in increased patient symptomatology,ocular surface damage and worsening tear *** also affects the health of meibomian glands and their secretions which further aggravates ocular surface *** article reviews current knowledge regarding ocular surface inflammation in DED and explores the relationships between the vicious cycles of DED,inflammation and meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).The clinical evaluation of eyes with such changes,markers that identify the presence of inflammation on the ocular surface and current treatment options are discussed.

There have been several developments in determining the spontaneous combustion liability of coal. Most of the methods of concern have purely been based on the internal properties of the coal itself. The relation between the crossing-point method and the electrical resistance of coal was examined here to outline the spontaneous combustion tendency of coal, The electrical resistance property of coal was looked into as a decision-making parameter of the interaction matrix concept for the final decision on the spontaneous combustion tendency.
