Cerium tartrate（CeTar）,produced in this study by precipitating cerium nitrate with potassium sodium tartrate（kNaTar）,was examined as a corrosion *** loss tests show inhibition efficiency of 71.7% with Ce（NO3）3and 88.7% with CeTar inhibitor for one-month exposure to mild steel in 7 g/L NaCl *** inhibition efficiency drops to 28.6% with the fo rmer and remains around 8 7% with the latter inhibitor after six months of *** results from electrochemical testing indicate that the inhibition efficiency decreases by adding cerium ***,the cerium tartrate inhibitor demonstrates a nearly constant inhibition efficiency for up to 30 d,i.e.,≈90%.Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） performed in these cases shows the following results:（ⅰ） with cerium nitrate,a film of iron and cerium oxide,which on prolonged exposure diminishes,and（ⅱ） with cerium tartrate,the formation of a bimetallic film（Fe-tartrate-Ce） and a mixture of cerium hydroxide and iro n oxide that protects steel for a longer *** inferences are based on the analyses of scanning electron microscopy/energydispersive X-ray analysis（SEM/EDAX）,X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）,X-ray photoelectron（XPS）,and Raman spectroscopy results.

The cloud computing technology is utilized for achieving resource utilization of remotebased virtual computer to facilitate the consumers with rapid and accurate massive data *** utilizes on-demand resource provisioning,but the necessitated constraints of rapid turnaround time,minimal execution cost,high rate of resource utilization and limited makespan transforms the Load Balancing(LB)process-based Task Scheduling(TS)problem into an NP-hard optimization *** this paper,Hybrid Prairie Dog and Beluga Whale Optimization Algorithm(HPDBWOA)is propounded for precise mapping of tasks to virtual machines with the due objective of addressing the dynamic nature of cloud *** capability of HPDBWOA helps in decreasing the SLA violations and Makespan with optimal resource *** is modelled as a scheduling strategy which utilizes the merits of PDOA and BWOA for attaining reactive decisions making with respect to the process of assigning the tasks to virtual resources by considering their priorities into *** addresses the problem of pre-convergence with wellbalanced exploration and exploitation to attain necessitated Quality of Service(QoS)for minimizing the waiting time incurred during TS *** further balanced exploration and exploitation rates for reducing the makespan during the task allocation with complete awareness of VM *** results of the proposed HPDBWOA confirmed minimized energy utilization of 32.18% and reduced cost of 28.94% better than approaches used for *** statistical investigation of the proposed HPDBWOA conducted using ANOVA confirmed its efficacy over the benchmarked systems in terms of throughput,system,and response time.

Immunostaining in lungs of patients who died with CovID-19 infection showed increased intensity and distribution of chondroitin sulfate and decline in N-acetylgalactostamine-4-sulfatase(Arylsulfatase B;ARSB).To explain these findings,human small airway epithelial cells were exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein receptor binding domain(SPRBD)and transcriptional mechanisms were ***-p38 MAPk and phospho-SMAD3 increased following exposure to the SPRBD,and their inhibition suppressed the promoter activation of the carbohydrate sulfotransferases CHST15 and CHST11,which contributed to chondroitin sulfate *** in ARSB was mediated by phospho-38 MAPk-induced N-terminal Rb phosphorylation and an associated increase in Rb-E2F1 binding and decline in E2F1 binding to the ARSB *** increases in chondroitin sulfotransferases were inhibited when treated with phospho-p38-MAPk inhibitors,SMAD3(SIS3)inhibitors,as well as antihistamine desloratadine and antibiotic *** the mouse model of carrageenan-induced systemic inflammation,increases in phosphop38 MAPk and expression of CHST15 and CHST11 and declines in DNA-E2F binding and ARSB expression occurred in the lung,similar to theobserved effects in this SPRBD model of COVID-19 *** accumulation of chondroitin sulfates is associated with fibrotic lung conditions and diffuse alveolar damage,increased attention to p38-MAPk inhibition may be beneficial in amelioratingCovid-19infections.

Prunus serotina and Robinia pseudoacacia are the most widespread invasive trees in Central *** addition,according to climate models,decreased growth of many economically and ecologically important native trees will likely be observed in the *** aimed to assess the impact of these two neophytes,which differ in the biomass range and nitrogen-fixing abilities observed in Central European conditions,on the relative aboveground biomass increments of native oaks Qucrcus robur and *** and Scots pine Pinus *** aimed to increase our understanding of the relationship between facilitation and competition between woody alien species and overstory native *** established 72 circular plots(0.05 ha)in two different forest habitat types and stands varying in age in western *** chose plots with different abundances of the studied neophytes to determine how effects scaled along the quantitative invasion ***,we collected growth cores of the studied native species,and we calculated aboveground biomass increments at the tree and stand ***,we used generalized linear mixed-effects models to assess the impact of invasive species abundances on relative aboveground biomass increments of native tree *** did not find a biologically or statistically significant impact of invasive *** or *** on the relative aboveground,biomass increments of native oaks and pines along the quantitative gradient of invader biomass or on the proportion of total stand biomass accounted for by *** neophytes did not act as native tree growth stimulators but also did not compete with them for resources,which would escalate the negative impact of climate change on pines and *** neophytes should not significantly modify the carbon sequestration capacity of the native *** work combines elements of the per capita effect of invasion with research on mixed forest management.

Chemical leaching of coals would be required to produce cleaner coals for some special applications where physical benefi-ciation may not be effective *** would also help in recovering Li and rare earth metals besides in the sequestration of CO_(2).About 20 Indian coals having complexly distributed moderate to high ash contents were sequentially treated with various alkali–acid such as NaOH-HCl,HF,HCl,HCl-HF,and NaOH-HCl-HF *** aimed to establish and design the best stepwise sequential process for the highest degree of demineralisation through a chemical leaching *** and process intensification studies were carried *** than 80%demineralisation of Madhaipur and Neemcha coals was observed using the best sequential treatment designed *** repeated stepwise treatment of the alkali and the acid was also studied,which was found to significantly enhance the degree of demineralisation of *** integrated process of alkali–acid leaching followed by solvent extraction(Organo-refining)and vice versa of the treated coal was also studied for producing cleaner coals.

Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers in the world,with over one million deaths per *** is required for lung cancer diagnosis and therapy to be effective,accurate,and *** expression microarrays have made it possible to find genetic biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prediction in a high-throughput *** Learning(ML)has been widely used to diagnose and classify lung cancer where the performance of ML methods is evaluated to identify the appropriate *** and selecting the gene expression patterns can help in lung cancer diagnoses and ***,microarrays include several genes and may cause confusion or false ***,the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm(AOA)is used to identify the optimal gene subset to reduce the number of selected *** can allow the classifiers to yield the best performance for lung cancer *** addition,we proposed a modified version of AOA which can work effectively on the high dimensional *** the modified AOA,the features are ranked by their weights and are used to initialize the AOA *** exploitation process of AOA is then enhanced by developing a local search algorithm based on two neighborhood ***,the efficiency of the proposed methods was evaluated on gene expression datasets related to Lung cancer using stratified 4-fold *** method’s efficacy in selecting the optimal gene subset is underscored by its ability to maintain feature proportions between 10%to 25%.Moreover,the approach significantly enhances lung cancer prediction *** instance,Lung_Harvard1 achieved an accuracy of 97.5%,Lung_Harvard2 and Lung_Michigan datasets both achieved 100%,Lung_Adenocarcinoma obtained an accuracy of 88.2%,and Lung_Ontario achieved an accuracy of 87.5%.In conclusion,the results indicate the potential promise of the proposed modified AOA approach in classifying microarray cancer data.
