Vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANETs)are mobile networks that use and transfer data with vehicles as the network ***,VANETs are essentially mobile ad-hoc networks(mANETs).They allow all the nodes to communicate and connect with one *** of the main requirements in a VANET is to provide self-decision capability to the *** memory,which stores all the previous routes,is used by the vehicles to choose the optimal *** networks,communication is *** cellular-based vehicle-to-everything(CV2X)communication,vital information is shared using the cooperative awareness message(CAm)that is broadcast by each *** are allocated in a distributed manner,which is known as mode 4 *** support vector machine(SVm)algorithm is used in the SVm-CV2X-m4 system proposed in this *** k-fold model with different values of k is used to evaluate the accuracy of the SVm-CV2Xm4 *** results show that the proposed system achieves an accuracy of 99.6%.Thus,the proposed system allows vehicles to choose the optimal route and is highly convenient for users.

A Rational Approximation of the Fourier Transform by Integration with Exponential Decay multiplier

Recently we have reported a new method of rational approximation of the sinc function obtained by sampling and the Fourier transforms. However, this method requires a trigonometric multiplier that originates from the shifting property of the Fourier transform. In this work, we show how to represent the Fourier transform of a function m>fm>(m>tm>) in form of a ratio of two polynomials without any trigonometric multiplier. A mATLAB code showing algorithmic implementation of the proposed method for rational approximation of the Fourier transform is presented.

Effect of the Instrument Slit Function on Upwelling Radiance from a Wavelength Dependent Surface Reflectance

The Radiance Enhancement (RE) method was introduced for efficient detection of clouds from the space. Recently, we have also reported that due to high reflectance of combustion-originated smokes, this approach can also be generalized for detection of the forest fires by retrieving and analyzing datasets collected from a space orbiting micro-spectrometer operating in the near infrared spectral range. In our previous publication, we have performed a comparison of observed and synthetic radiance spectra by developing a method for computation of surface reflectance consisting of different canopies by weighted sum based on their areal coverage. However, this approach should be justified by a method based on corresponding proportions of the upwelling radiance. The results of computations we performed in this study reveal a good match between areal coverage of canopies and the corresponding proportions of the upwelling radiance due to effect of the instrument slit function.

Experimental Study of Surface and Solution Properties of Gemini -conventional Surfactant mixtures on Solubilization of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon

Experimental data are presented on the enhanced solubilities of fluorene (FLR) resulting from solubilization in aqueous solutions of two conventional surfactants: cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) , anionic sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), nonioinic polyethylene glycol dodecyl ether (Brij35) and a cationic gemini bis (hexadecyldimethylammonium) pentane dibromide (G5). The critical micellar concentration of surfactants was determined by surface tension measurements and aqueous solubilities of fluorene compound in surfactant solutions were measured spectrophotometrically. Solubilization of PAH compound commenced at the surfactant critical micelle concentration and was proportional to the concentration of surfactant in micelle. The results of the mixed systems were analyzed with the help of regular solution theory, in which the deviation of CmCexp values for mixed surfactant systems from CmCideal was measured by evaluating the interaction parameter, βm. Negative values of βm were observed in all equimolar binary systems which show synergism in the mixed micelle. Attraction force between two oppositely charged head groups lead the strongest synergism effect between cationic gemini and anionic conventional surfactant. In addition to molar solubilization ratio (mSR) solubilization efficiency is also quantified in terms of micelle-water partition coefficient (km).

Efficient Application of the Radiance Enhancement method for Detection of the Forest Fires Due to Combustion-Originated Reflectance

The existing methods for detection of the cloud scenes are applied at relatively small spectral range within shortwave upwelling radiative wavelength flux. We have reported a new method for detection of the cloud scenes based on the Radiance Enhancement (RE). This method can be used to cover a significantly wider spectral range from 1100 nm to 1700 nm by using datasets from the space-orbiting micro-spectrometer Argus 1000. Due to high sunlight reflection of the smoke originated from the forest or field fires the proposed RE method can also be implemented for detection of combustion aerosols. This approach can be a promising technique for efficient detection and continuous monitor of the seasonal forest and field fires. To the best of our knowledge this is the first report showing how a cloud method can be generalized for efficient detection of the forest fires due to combustion-originated reflectance.

Artificial intelligence(AI),a branch of machine learning(mL)has been increasingly employed in the research of trauma in various *** is the most common cause of trauma-related *** better elucidate the current role of AI and contribute to future development of mL in trauma care,we conducted a review focused on the use of mL in the diagnosis or treatment strategy of traumatic hemorrhage.A literature search was carried out on Pubmed and Google *** and abstracts were screened and,if deemed appropriate,the full articles were *** included 89 studies in the *** studies could be grouped into five areas:(1)prediction of outcomes;(2)risk assessment and injury severity for triage;(3)prediction of transfusions;(4)detection of hemorrhage;and(5)prediction of *** analysis of mL in comparison with current standards for trauma care showed that most studies demonstrated the benefits of mL ***,most studies were retrospective,focused on prediction of mortality,and development of patient outcome scoring *** studies performed model assessment via test datasets obtained from different *** models for transfusions and coagulopathy have been developed,but none is in widespread ***-enabled mL-driven technology is becoming integral part of the whole course of trauma *** and application of mL algorithms using different datasets from initial training,testing and validation in prospective and randomized controlled trials are warranted for provision of decision support for individualized patient care as far forward as possible.

High resolution facies architecture and digital outcrop modeling of the Sandakan formation sandstone reservoir, Borneo:Implications for reservoir characterization and flow simulation

Advances in photogrammetry have eased the acquisition of high-resolution digital information from outcrops, enabling faster, non-destructive data capturing and improved reservoir modeling. Geocellular models for flow dynamics with in the virtual outcrop in siliciclastic deposits at different sets of sandstone facies architecture remain, however, a challenge. Digital maps of bedding, lithological contrast, spatial-temporal variations of bedding and permeability characteristics make it more easy to understand flow tortuosity in a particular architecture. An ability to precisely model these properties can improve reservoir characterization and flow modeling at different scales. Here we demonstrate the construction of realistic 2 D sandstone facies based models for a pragmatic simulation of flow dynamics using a combination of digital point clouds dataset acquired from LiDAR and field investigation of the Sandakan Formation, Sabah, ***, we present methods for enhancing the accuracy of outcrop digital datasets for producing high resolution flow simulation. A well-exposed outcrop from the Sandakan Formation, Sabah, northwest Borneo having a lateral extent of 750 m was chosen in order to implement our research approach. Sandstone facies and its connectivity are well constrained by outcrop observations, data from air-permeability measurements, bilinear interpolation of permeability, grid construction and water vector analysis for flow *** proportions were then enumerated in terms of static digital outcrop model(DOm) and facies model based on sandstone facies bedding characteristics. Flow simulation of water vector analysis through each of the four sandstone facies types show persistent spatial correlation of permeability that align with either cross-bedded orientation or straight with more dispersion high quality sandstone(porosity 21.25%-41.2%and permeability 1265.20-5986.25 mD) and moderate quality sandstone(porosity 10.44%-28.75% and permeabili

We have studied the genotoxic and apoptotic potential of ferric oxide nanoparticles（Fe_2O_3-NPs） in Raphanus sativus（radish）.Fe_2O_3-NPs retarded the root length and seed germination in *** sections of treated roots showed subcellular localization of Fe_2O_3-NPs,along with the appearance of damaged mitochondria and excessive *** cytometric analysis of Fe_2O_3-NPs（1.0 mg/m L） treated groups exhibited 219.5%,161%,120.4% and 161.4% increase in intracellular reactive oxygen species（ROS）,mitochondrial membrane potential（ΔΨm）,nitric oxide（NO） and Ca2＋influx in radish protoplasts.A concentration dependent increase in the antioxidative enzymes glutathione（GSH）,catalase（CAT）,superoxide dismutase（SOD） and lipid peroxidation（LPO） has been *** assay showed a concentration dependent increase in deoxyribonucleic acid（DNA） strand breaks in Fe_2O_3-NPs treated *** cycle analysis revealed 88.4% of cells in sub-G1 apoptotic phase,suggesting cell death in Fe_2O_3-NPs（2.0 mg/m L） treated *** together,the genotoxicity induced by Fe_2O_3-NPs highlights the importance of environmental risk associated with improper disposal of nanoparticles（NPs） and radish can serve as a good indicator for measuring the phytotoxicity of NPs grown in NP-polluted environment.
