Recent security applications in mobile technologies and computer sys-tems use face recognition for high-end *** numerous security tech-niques,face recognition is considered a high-security *** fuse and carry out face identiﬁcation as an access authority into these ***,face identiﬁcation authentication is sensitive to attacks with a 2-D photo image or captured video to access the system as an authorized *** the existing spooﬁng detection algorithm,there was some loss in the recreation of *** research proposes an unobtrusive technique to detect face spooﬁng attacks that apply a single frame of the sequenced set of frames to overcome the above-said *** research offers a novel Edge-Net autoencoder to select convoluted and dominant features of the input diffused ***,this pro-posed method is tested with the Cross-ethnicity Face Anti-spooﬁng(CASIA),Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders(FASD)*** database has three models of attacks:distorted photographs in printed form,photographs with removed eyes portion,and video *** images are taken with three different quality cameras:low,average,and high-quality real and spoofed *** extensive experimental study was performed with CASIA-FASD,3 Diagnostic Machine Aid-Digital(DMAD)dataset that proved higher results when compared to existing algorithms.

Background and Aims:Although hypovitaminosis D is common among patients with chronic liver disease(CLD),the data are inconsistent on its prevalence and its relationship with *** study aimed to estimate the prevalence of hypovitaminosis D among patients with CLD and to determine the relationship between hypovitaminosis D and severity of liver dysfunction,and calcium(Ca),phosphate(PO4)and parathyroid hormone(PTH)levels in ***:The study included 236 CLD patients attending the Department of Hepatology,Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital(Chennai,India).Serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D(25(OH)D),PTH,Ca,and PO4 were *** of liver dysfunction was graded using the Child-Turcotte-Pugh(CTP)***:The first report from our population showed that 162 of 236(68.6%)CLD patients had hypovitaminosis D(25(OH)D levels of<30 ng/mL),with higher frequency(124/162)76.5%among CTP B,C *** negative correlation(r=-0.288,p=0.0001)between 25(OH)D and CTP scores was noted in hypovitaminosis D *** of 25(OH)D was correlated negatively with PTH(r=-0.537,p=0.0001),positively with Ca(r=0.657,p=0.0001),and positively with PO4(r=0.477,p=0.0001)in sufficient vitamin D ***:Hypovitaminosis D is associated with higher CTP scores and is strongly associated with dysregulation of the Ca-PTH-vitamin D axis in *** measurement of vitamin D levels is essential,along with levels of PTH,Ca and PO4,to manage CLD patients.

This multilevel inverter methodology is the center of focus among researchers in recent *** has been focused due to its advantages over existing topologies,drawbacks and improvement of power quality,Multi-level inverter has the ability to generate nearly sinusoidal *** sinusoidal wave can be further improved by increasing the level of output voltage or with the help of filter design,and this manuscript presents single-phase Multi cell Multi-Level Inverter(MLI).It has been considered for reducing component count to get a higher number of output voltage levels and lower Total harmonics distortion *** comprises with four symmetric DC input voltage and 10 IGBT switches to produces stepped output of 9 level,and when deploy asymmetric Dc voltage source the same circuit will produce 31 level output with some changes in firing scheme,moreover this circuit is the family of cascaded hybrid bridge inverter so this circuit covered advantage of CHB MLI,This circuit uses lower *** switch as compared to existing conventional MLIs such as FC-MLI,CHB-MLI,NPC-MLI,This paper also provides one of most pertinent controls and modulation mechanisms for a MLI using a hybrid reference/carrier-oriented sinusoidal PWM *** last,simulated outcomes are to validate the performance of both architectures in MLI structure as well as verify the concept.

Silver nanoparticles synthesized by dried biomass of Lactobaciluus acidophilus 01 strain was evaluated against toxicity of genomic DNA isolated from bacteria(***) fungi(Beauveria bassiana) algae(Seenedesmus acutus) and human blood adopting standard condition was discussed in the present *** silver nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy and *** UV-Vis spectroscopy revealed the formation of silver nanoparticles by yielding the typical silver plasmon absorption maxima at 430 nm and SEM micrograph indicates the uniform spherical particles within the size range of 45?60 *** energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) of the nanoparticle confirmed the presence of elemental silver signal as strong *** above synthesized silver nanoparticles didn't cause any toxic effect on all the tested genomic DNA at all tested concentrations which reveals nil genomic nanoparticles induced toxicity.

Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)is found to be a major concern among various occupational *** foremost challenge of this neurodeve-lopmental disorder lies in the fact of analyzing and exploring various symptoms of the children at their early stage of *** early identification could prop up the therapists and clinicians to provide proper assistive support to make the children lead an independent *** expressions and emotions perceived by the children could contribute to such early intervention of *** this regard,the paper implements in identifying basic facial expression and exploring their emotions upon a time-variant *** emotions are analyzed by incorporating the facial expression identified through Convolution Neural Network(CNN)using 68 landmark points plotted on the frontal face with a prediction network formed by Recurring Neural Network(RNN)known as the RCNN based Facial Expression Recommendation(FER)*** paper adopts Recurring Convolution Neural Network(R-CNN)to take the advantage of increased accuracy and performance with decreased time complexity in predicting emotion as textual network *** papers prove better accuracy in identifying the emotion in autistic children when compared over simple machine learning models built for such identifications contributing to autistic society.

Let Z_(4) be the ring of integers modulo *** study the Λ-constacyclic and(θ,Λ)-cyclic codes over the non-chain ring R=Z_(4)[u,v]/for a unit Λ=1+2u+2v in *** define several Gray maps and find that the respective Gray images of a quasi-cyclic code over Z_(4) are cyclic,quasi-cyclic or permutation equivalent to this *** an odd positive integer n,we determine the generator polynomials of cyclic and Λ-constacyclic codes of length n over ***,we prove that a(θ,Λ)-cyclic code of length n is a Λ-constacyclic code if n is odd,and a Λ-quasi-twisted code if n is even.A few examples are also incorporated,in which two parameters are new and one is best known to date.

Elevated Liver Enzymes along with Comorbidity Is a High Risk Factor for COVID-19 Mortality:A South Indian Study on 1,512 Patients

Background and Aims:Liver enzyme abnormalities in coronavirus 2019(COVID-19)are being addressed in the *** predictive risk of elevated liver enzymes has not been established for COVID-19 *** this study,we hypothesized that elevated liver enzymes at ad-mission can predict the outcome of COVID-19 disease with other known indicators,such as ***:This retrospective study included all the consecutive hos-pitalized patients with confirmed COVID-19 disease from March 4th to May 31st,*** study was conducted in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital,Chennai,Ta-mil Nadu,*** assessed demography,clinical vari-ables,COVID-19 severity,laboratory parameters,and ***:We included 1,512 patients,and median age was 47 years(interquartile range:34-60)with 36.9%being *** enzyme level(aspartate aminotrans-ferase and/or alanine aminotransferase)was elevated in 450/1,512(29.76%)*** was present in 713/1,512(47.16%)*** with liver enzymes’elevation and presence of comorbidity were older,more frequently hospitalized in ICU and had more severe symp-toms of COVID-19 at the time of *** of liver enzymes’elevation with comorbidity was a high risk factor for death(OR:5.314,95%CI:2.278-12.393),as compared to patients with presence of comorbidity(OR:4.096,95%CI:1.833-9.157).Conclusions:Comorbid-ity combined with liver enzymes’elevation at presentation independently increased the risk of death in COVID-19 by at least 5-fold.

In this paper, an electromagnetic metamaterial patch antenna is designed and simulated for cognitive radio applications, as cognitive radio communication is anticipated to be a new technology which utilizes all the bands of radio spectrum. This work uses a complementary split ring resonator between the patch and the ground plane for the purpose of size miniaturization. The proposed antenna system is capable of operating in the frequency range of about 2 to 5 GHz. This wide-band design makes it viable for wide spectrum with 80 percentage effective frequency being covered in the designed band. The desired patch antenna has been simulated using Advanced System Design (ADS) simulator. The simulated results are proved to be good in agreement with cognitive radio application.
