Intermittent fasting(IF)is an intervention that involves not only dietary modific-ations but also behavioral changes with the main core being a period of fasting alternating with a period of controlled *** duration of fasting differs from one regimen to *** fasting(RF)is a religious fasting for muslims,it lasts for only one month every one lunar *** this model of fasting,observers abstain from food and water for a period that extends from dawn to *** period of daily fasting is variable(12-18 hours)as Ramadan rotates in all seasons of the ***,longer duration of daily fasting is observed during the *** fact,RF is a peculiar type of *** is a dry IF as no water is allowed during the fasting hours,also there are no calorie restrictions during feeding hours,and the mealtime is exclusively *** three variables of the RF model are believed to have a variable impact on different liver *** was evaluated by different observational and interventional studies among patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and it was associated with improve-ments in anthropometric measures,metabolic profile,and liver biochemistry regardless of the calorie restriction among lean and obese *** situation is rather different for patients with liver *** was associated with adverse events among patients with liver cirrhosis irrespective of the underlying etiology of *** patients developed new ascites,ascites were increased,had higher serum bilirubin levels after Ramadan,and frequently developed hepatic encephalopathy and acute upper gastrointestinal *** complications were higher among patients with Child class B and C cirrhosis,and some fatalities occurred due to *** transplant recipients as a special group of patients,are vulnerable to dehydration,fluctuation in blood immunosuppressive levels,lik.lihood of deterioration and hence observing RF without special precautions

Utilization of bromine azide to access vicinal-azidobromides from arylidene malononitrile

An efficient and facile approach for tetrachlorosilane as an in situ mediated transformation via a one-pot, synthesis of vicinal bromoazides through the generation of BrN3 from azidochlorosilane and N-bromosuccinimide in acetonitrile as solvent at ambient temperature is achieved. This catalytic process represents a highly regioselective and high yielding method for the synthesis of 1,2- bromoazides. Thiamine pyrophosphate （TPP） riboswitches regulate essential genes in bacteria by changing conformation upon binding intracellular TPP. molecular dock.ng studies are conducted to understand the orientation and the interaction of each synthesized molecules with TPP riboswitches, 2016 Chinese Chemical Society and Institute of materia medica, Chinese Academv of medical Sciences.

Using passive cooling strategies to improve thermal performance and reduce energy consumption of residential buildings in U.A.E. buildings

Passive design responds to local climate and site conditions in order to maximise the comfort and health of building users while minimising energy use. The k.y to designing a passive building is to tak. best advantage of the local climate. Passive cooling refers to any technologies or design features adopted to reduce the temperature of buildings without the need for power consumption. Consequently, the aim of this study is to test the usefulness of applying selected passive cooling strategies to improve thermal performance and to reduce energy consumption of residential buildings in hot arid climate settings, namely Dubai, United Arab Emirates. One case building was selected and eight passive cooling strategies were applied. Energy simulation software namely IES was used to assess the performance of the building. Solar shading performance was also assessed using Sun Cast Analysis, as a part of the IES software. Energy reduction was achieved due to both the harnessing of natural ventilation and the minimising of heat gain in line with applying good shading devices alongside the use of double glazing. Additionally, green roofing proved its potential by acting as an effective roof insulation. The study revealed several significant findings including that the total annual energy consumption of a residential building in Dubai may be reduced by up to 23.6% when a building uses passive cooling strategies.

A Novel Optimized Language-Independent Text Summarization Technique

A substantial amount of textual data is present electronically in several *** texts directed the gear to information *** is essential to remove this redundancy and decrease the reading time of these ***,we need a computerized text summarization technique to extract relevant information from group of text documents with correlated *** paper proposes a language-independent extractive summarization *** proposed technique presents a clustering-based optimization *** clustering technique determines the main subjects of the text,while the proposed optimization technique minimizes redundancy,and maximizes *** are devised and evaluated using BillSum dataset for the English language,mLSUm for German and Russian and mawdoo3 for the Arabic *** experiments are evaluated using ROUGE *** results showed the effectiveness of the proposed technique compared to other language-dependent and languageindependent summarization *** technique achieved better ROUGE metrics for all the utilized *** technique accomplished an F-measure of 41.9%for Rouge-1,18.7%for Rouge-2,39.4%for Rouge-3,and 16.8%for Rouge-4 on average for all the dataset using all three *** system also exhibited an improvement of 26.6%,35.5%,34.65%,and 31.54%*** recent model contributed in the summarization of BillSum in terms of ROUGE metric *** model’s performance is higher than the comparedmodels,especially in themetric results ofROUGE_2which is bi-gram matching.

Assessment of Gross Chemical Composition, mineral Composition, Vitamin Composition and Amino Acids Composition of Wheat Biscuits and Wheat Germ Fortified Biscuits

Wheat germ is reck.ned valuable healthful functional food. The present investigation was performed to assess nutritional status of wheat biscuits and wheat germ fortified biscuits. Study included determination of gross chemical composition, caloric value, minerals (mn, Ca, Fe, Cu, P, Na and k., vitamins (C, Folic acid, A, and E), and amino acid composition of wheat biscuits and 15%, 20% wheat germ fortified biscuits. Lik.wise physical and sensory characteristics of studied biscuits were assessed. The data revealed that 20% wheat germ fortified biscuits proved to be nutritious functional healthful food. It improved both physical, sensory characteristics and recorded the highest crude protein (12.20%), crude fiber (2%), and the least fat (9.63%), moisture (3.01%), and caloric value (436.31 k.al/100g). While it recorded the highest mn and Cu contents as well as increased vitamins C, Folic acid, A, and E. Besides, 20% wheat germ fortified biscuits increased all the eight essential amino acids contents resulting in an improvement of the nutritive value of wheat biscuits. Therefore it could be recommended for caloric reduced diets for obese and overweight persons. Lik.wise, it should be increasing interest as an ingredient in the industry as functional and healthy foods formulations as biscuits, bread and cak.s.

Lanthanide amino acid Schiff base complexes:synthesis,spectroscopic characterization,physical properties and in vitro antimicrobial studies

Complexes of La （III）, Nd（III）, Gd（III）, Sm（III）, and Ce（IV） were synthesized with Schiff base [（3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hy- droxybenzyl） amino] acetic acid （H3L）. The ligand and its complexes were synthesized and characterized based on the following analysis： elemental analyses, FAB-mass, molar conductance measurements, magnetic measurement, UV-visible, IR, and NmR spectral studies. The spectral data revealed that the ligand acted as a neutral tridentate coordinating to metal ion through ONO donor sequence. Thermal degradation studies of the ligand and its complexes showed that the previous lanthanide complexes were more thermally stable than the ligand itself. The Schiff base and its complexes were screened for their antibacterial （Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus） and antifungal （Aspergillus flavus and Candida Albicans）.
