We show that the scatter.ng oper.tor.car.ies a band in H^s (r.n)×H^(s-1)(r.n) into H^s (r.n)× H^(s-1)(r.n) for.the sinh-Gor.on equation and an analogous r.sult also holds tr.e for.the nonlinear.Schr.inger.equation with an exponential nonlinear.ty, wher. s≥n/2 is ar.itr.r. and n≥2. Ther.for., the scatter.ng oper.tor. ar. infinitely smooth for.the above two equations.

This paper.investigates methods of value-at-r.sk.(Var. estimation using extr.me value theor. (EVT). It compar.s two differ.nt estimation methods, 'two-step subsample bootstr.p' based on moment estimation and maximum lik.lihood estimation (MLE), accor.ing to their.theor.tical bases and computation pr.cedur.s. Then, the estimation r.sults ar. analyzed together.with those of nor.al method and empir.cal method. The empir.cal r.sear.h of for.ign exchange data shows that the EVT methods have good char.cter. in estimating Var.under.extr.me conditions and 'two-step subsample bootstr.p' method is pr.fer.ble to MLE.

Owing to the pr.duction of alpha, beta and gamma amylase subtypes;star.h degr.ding micr.bes, especially bacter.a have an invincible r.le in the food, fer.entation, textile and paper.industr.es. Of them, α-amylases fr.m Bacillus spp. have contr.buted tr.mendous advancements in bio-industr., especially in star.h, deter.ent and phar.aceutical ar.na. Though gener.l r.views ar. seen in liter.tur. on amylases, no focused r.view is available yet solely on α-amylases pr.duced by Bacillus spp. Hence, this focused r.view on α-amylases fr.m the genus Bacillus is designed in such a way that it should give a vivid pictur. on most of the aspects on bacillial α-amylases in a handy module with an industr.al per.pective. With a shor. intr.duction on amylases in gener.l, α-amylases fr.m var.ous species of Bacillus r.viewed her.in encompasses pr.duction of α-amylases by submer.ed and solid-state fer.entations;nutr.ents and other.factor. r.quir.d for.maximizing pr.duction;immobilization str.tegies for.whole cells or.pur.fied enzyme;an over.iew on the molecular.weight of the enzyme;followed by distinct sections for.pur.fication, char.cter.sation, stability and cr.stal str.ctur.;and concluded with a section on industr.al applications of the α-amylases fr.m Bacillus spp.

Using our.obser.ational data we analyze the r.asons for.the obser.ed br.ghtness var.ations. In the case of V977 Cep we identify pr.viously unk.own per.odicity in its light cur.e.

We pr.sent a fir.t-pr.nciples theor.tical study of electr.c field-and str.incontr.lled intr.nsic half-metallic pr.per.ies of zigzagged aluminium nitr.de (AlN) nanor.bbons. We show that the half-metallic pr.per.y of AlN r.bbons can under.o a tr.nsition into fully-metallic or.semiconducting behavior.with application of an electr.c field or.uniaxial str.in. An exter.al tr.nsver.e electr.c field induces a full char.e scr.ening that r.nder. the mater.al semiconducting. In contr.st, as uniaxial str.in var.es fr.m compr.ssive to tensile, a spin-r.solved selective self-doping incr.ases the half-metallic char.cter.of the r.bbons. The r.levant str.in-induced changes in electr.nic pr.per.ies ar.se fr.m band str.ctur. modifications at the Fer.i level as a consequence of a spin-polar.zed char.e tr.nsfer.between p-or.itals of the N and Al edge atoms in a spin-r.solved self-doping pr.cess. This band str.ctur. tunability indicates the possibility of designing magnetic nanor.bbons with tunable electr.nic str.ctur. by der.ving edge states fr.m elements with sufficiently differ.nt localization pr.per.ies. Finite temper.tur. molecular.dynamics r.veal a ther.ally stable half-metallic nanor.bbon up to r.om temper.tur..

Sequences of 479 bp r.gion of the mitochondr.al COI gene wer. applied to detect population genetic diver.ity and str.ctur. ofDendr.ctonus valens populations. By compar.ng the genetic diver.ity between native and invasive populations, it was shown that the genetic diver.ity of Chinese populations was obviously lower.than that of native populations with both indices of haplotype diver.ity and Nei＇s genetic diver.ity, suggesting genetic bottleneck.occur.ed in the invasive pr.cess of D. valens, and was then followed by a r.latively quick.population buildup. Accor.ing to phylogenetic analyses of haplotypes, we suggested that the or.gin of the Chinese population was fr.m Califor.ia, USA. Phylogenetic and networ.0}analysis of native populations of D. valens r.vealed str.ng genetic str.ctur. at two distinct spatial and tempor.l scales in Nor.h Amer.ca. The main cause r.sulting in cur.ent biogeogr.phic patter. was supposedly due to r.cycled glacial events. Meanwhile, a cr.ptic species might exist in the Mexican and Guatemalan populations.

A new ser.es of multi-heter.cyclic Schiff base was constr.cted star.ing fr.m 4＇-（imidazol-1-yl[56_TD$IF]）-acetophenone which was conver.ed to its 2-br.moethanone pr.cur.or.which on cyclic condensation with thiour.a yielded final thiazol-2-amine inter.ediate（3） to be r.acted with substituted aldehydes to gener.te final imidazolylphenylheter.cyclic-2-ylmethylenethiazole-2-amines（4a–4i）. New Schiff base was investigated for.their.in vitr. cytotoxic efficacies against a panel of thr.e human cancer.cell lines namely, MCF7（human br.ast cancer., HCT116（human colon cancer., and DU145（human pr.state cancer. and one nor.al sk.n fibr.blast（SF）. Most of these synthetic der.vatives shown impor.ant cytotoxic actions against individual car.inoma cell line collections, but weak.actions against SF, which is as anticipated. Obser.ations of SAr.suggested that the differ.nce in the char.cter.stics of substituents attached to the Schiff base function leads to the inter.sting var.ations within phar.acological effects of r.sultant molecular.systems. Str.ctur.l analysis per.or.ed using FT-Ir.~1H NMr.^（13）C NMr.spectr.scopy and CHN analysis for.final potent anticancer.Schiff base, which war.ant fur.her.investigations.
