Emerging roles of microRNAs as diagnostics and potential therapeutic interest in type 2 diabetes mellitus

Runx2 regulates peripheral nerve regeneration to promote Schwann cell migration and re-myelination

Runx2 is a major regulator of osteoblast differentiation and function;however,the role of Runx2 in peripheral nerve repair is unclea ***,we analyzed Runx2expression following injury and found that it was specifically up-regulated in Schwann ***,using Schwann cell-specific Runx2 k.ock. ut mice,we studied peripheral nerve development and regeneration and found that multiple steps in the regeneration process following sciatic nerve injury were *** observed in Runx2 k.oc k.ut mice include increased prolife ration of Schwann cells,impaired Schwann cell migration and axonal regrowth,reduced re-myelination of axo ns,and a block.in macrophage clearance in the late stage of *** together,our findings indicate that Runx2 is a k.y regulator of Schwann cell plasticity,and therefore peripheral nerve ***,our study shows that Runx2 plays a major role in Schwann cell migration,re-myelination,and peripheral nerve functional recovery following injury.

Prediction of bearing capacity of pile foundation using deep learning approaches

The accurate prediction of bearing capacity is crucial in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of pile *** research compares the Deep Neural Network.(DNN),Convolutional Neural Network.(CNN),Recurrent Neural Network.(RNN),Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM),and Bidirectional LSTM(BiLSTM)algorithms utilizing a data set of 257 dynamic pile load tests for the first ***,this research illustrates the multicollinearity effect on DNN,CNN,RNN,LSTM,and BiLSTM models’performance and accuracy for the first time.A comprehensive comparative analysis is conducted,employing various statistical performance parameters,rank.analysis,and error matrix to evaluate the performance of these *** performance is further validated using external validation,and visual interpretation is provided using the regression error characteristics(REC)curve and Taylor *** from the comparative analysis reveal that the DNN(Coefficient of determination(R^(2))_(training(TR))=0.97,root mean squared error(RMSE)_(TR)=0.0413;R^(2)_(testing(TS))=0.9,RMSE_(TS)=0.08)followed by BiLSTM(R^(2)_(TR)=0.91,RMSE_(TR)=0.782;R^(2)_(TS)=0.89,RMSE_(TS)=0.0862)model demonstrates the highest performance *** is noted that the BiLSTM model is better than LSTM because the BiLSTM model,which increases the amount of information for the network.is a sequence processing model made up of two LSTMs,one of which tak.s the input in a forward manner,and the other in a back.ard *** prediction of pile-bearing capacity is strongly influenced by ram weight(having a considerable multicollinearity level),and the effect of the considerable multicollinearity level has been determined for the model based on the recurrent neural network.*** this study,the recurrent neural network.model has the least performance and accuracy in predicting the pile-bearing capacity.

In software development projects,bugs are common *** report bugs in open source *** is a need to develop high quality developer prediction model that considers developer work.satisfaction,k.ep within limited development cost,and improve bug resolution *** address and resolve bug report as soon as possible is the main focus of triager when a new bug is ***,developer work.efficiency is an important factor in *** address these issues,a proposed approach recommends a set of developers that could potentially share their k.owledge with each other to fix new bug *** proposed approach is called developer work.ng efficiency and social network.based developer recommendation(DweSn).It is a composite model that builds developers'profile by using developer average bug fixing time,work.efficiency to fix variety of bugs,as well as the developer's social interactions with other developers.A similarity measure is applied between new bug and bugs in corpus to extract the list of capable developers from the *** proposed approach only selects those developers who are active and less loaded with *** developer with the highest profile score is assigned the *** evaluated our approach on the subset of five large open-source projects including Mozilla,Netbeans,Eclipse,Firefox and OpenOffice,and compared it with the *** results demonstrate that combination of developers'efficiency with their average bug fixing time and interactions in their social network.gives good accuracy and efficiently reduces bug tossing *** approach shows an improvement in prediction accuracy,precision,recall,F-score and reduced bug tossing length up to 93.89%,93.12%,93.46%,93.27%and 93.25%,*** proposed approach achieved a 93%hit ratio and 93.34%mean reciprocal rank.indicating that our proposed triager is able to efficiently assign bugs to correct developers.

An Effective Hybrid Model of ELM and Enhanced GWO for Estimating Compressive Strength of Metak.olin-Contained Cemented Materials

This research proposes a highly effective soft computing paradigm for estimating the compressive strength(CS)of metak.olin-contained cemented *** proposed approach is a combination of an enhanced grey wolf optimizer(EGWO)and an extreme learning machine(ELM).EGWO is an augmented form of the classic grey wolf optimizer(GWO).Compared to standard GWO,EGWO has a better hunting mechanism and produces an optimal *** EGWO was used to optimize the ELM structure and a hybrid model,ELM-EGWO,was *** train and validate the proposed ELM-EGWO model,a sum of 361 experimental results featuring five influencing factors was *** on sensitivity analysis,three distinct cases of influencing parameters were considered to investigate the effect of influencing factors on predictive *** consequences show that the constructed ELM-EGWO achieved the most accurate precision in both training(RMSE=0.0959)and testing(RMSE=0.0912)*** outcomes of the ELM-EGWO are significantly superior to those of deep neural network.(DNN),k.nearest neighbors(k.N),long short-term memory(LSTM),and other hybrid ELMs constructed with GWO,particle swarm optimization(PSO),harris hawk. optimization(HHO),salp swarm algorithm(SSA),marine predators algorithm(MPA),and colony predation algorithm(CPA).The overall results demonstrate that the newly suggested ELM-EGWO has the potential to estimate the CS of metak.olin-contained cemented materials with a high degree of precision and robustness.
