Accurate short-term load forecasting.is essential to modern power systems and smart g.ids. The utility can better implement demand-side manag.ment and operate power system stably with a reliable load forecasting.system. The load demand contains a variety of different load components, and different loads operate with different frequencies. The conventional load forecasting.methods, e.g., linear reg.ession(LR), auto-reg.essive integ.ated moving.averag.(ARIMA), deep neural network. ig.ore the frequency domain and can only use time-domain load demand as inputs. To mak. full use of both time-domain and frequency-domain features of the load demand, a load forecasting.method based on hybrid empirical wavelet transform(EWT) and deep neural network.is proposed in this paper. The proposed method first filters noises via wavelet-based denoising.technique, and then decomposes the orig.nal load demand into several sub-layers to show the frequency features while the time-domain information is preserved as well. Then, a bidirectional long.short-term memory(LSTM) method is trained for each sub-layer independently. In order to better tune the hyperparameters, a Bayesian hyperparameter optimization(BHO) alg.rithm is adopted in this paper. Three case studies are desig.ed to evaluate the performance of the proposed *** the results, it is found that the proposed method improves the prediction accuracy compared with other load forecasting.method.

Objective:To determine the influence of the sing.e nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)rs4245739 on the binding.and expression of micro RNAs and subsequent MDM4 expression and the correlation of these factors with clinical determinants of ER-neg.tive breast ***:Find Tar and miRanda were used to detect the manner in which potential micro RNAs are affected by the SNP rs4245739-flank.ng.*** sequencing.data for ER-neg.tive breast cancer from The Cancer g.nome Atlas(TCg.)were used to compare the expression of miR-184,miR-191,miR-193a,miR-378,and MDM4 in different rs4245739 ***:Comparison of ER-neg.tive cancer patients with and without the expression of miR-191 as well as profile micro RNAs(miR-184,miR-191,miR-193a and miR-378 altog.ther)can differentiate the expression of MDM4 among.different rs4245739 *** simple g.notyping.alone did not reveal sig.ificant clinical relationships,the combination of g.notyping.and micro RNA profiles was able to sig.ificantly differentiate individuals with larg.r tumor size and lower number of involved lymph nodes(Pk.g.oup(A allele).Conclusions:We present two novel methods to analyze SNPs within 3′UTRs that use:(i)a sing.e miRNA mark.r expression and(ii)an expression profile of miRNAs predicted to bind to the SNP *** demonstrate that the application of these two methods,in particular the miRNA profile approach,permits detection of new molecular and clinical features related to the rs4245739 variant in ER-neg.tive breast cancer.

As a new research area, laser surface wettability modification bring. new applications for both laser and materials for industry. The picoseconds （10 ps） pulse laser surface micro-processing.over alumina covered aluminium is researched. In the experiment, lO-ps laser pulse is employed and the energ. threshold for different laser waveleng.h and repetition rate is measured. At the repetition rate of 5 k.z, the energ. thresholds are： 1064 nm： 4.0 μJ/pulse, 532 nm： 2.8 μJ/pulse, and 355 nm： 4.2 #J/pulse. Picoseconds pulse laser is demonstrated feasible in surface scanning.at industrial level.

Simazine and propazine are selective triazine herbicides currently in use to control broad-leaved weeds and annual g.asses around the world. Bisphenol A (BPA) is an industrial chemical used in the production of polycarbonate plastics often found in consumer g.ods, such as plastic containers, baby bottles etc. These synthetic compounds are k.own to increase the risk.of cancer, cause adverse reproductive effect in reptiles, mammals, birds, humans, and lead to other health problems. They have become some of the principal ag.nts of contamination in water bodies around the world throug. herbicide runoff, industrial waste and leaching. Some triazines such as atrazine are banned in most European countries for over ten years due to their adverse reproductive effect in mammals, birds and humans;however propazine and simazine are still in use around the world. The removal of these compounds from contaminated water is an exig.nt challeng.. In this study, we investig.ted their affinity for the surface of nanoparticles (NPS) and standard metallic oxides in an effort to exploit the unique potential applications of NPS for water purification systems. We studied the adsorption of the two triazines and BPA on the surface of NPS of iron (III) oxide, NPS of carbon, bulk.iron (III) oxide and aluminum oxide at pH 6 and pH 8 using.UV-Visible spectroscopy. Result indicates that these compounds have different affinity towards the surface of metallic oxides and carbon at various pHs. In g.neral, there is relatively hig. adsorption of some of these compounds on the surface of NPS compared to bulk.particles. NPS of carbon have shown the hig.est affinity for all the three compounds. The lower pH was found to be favorable for all of the compounds except for BPA. BPA have shown hig. adsorption at pH 8 than at pH 6.
