Ca.bon Sequestra.ion in Tropica. Forest Sta.ds: Its Control by Pla.t, Soil a.d Clim.0}ic Fa.tors

This study investiga.ed the rela.ionships a.ongst floristic, soil a.d clim.0}ic pa.a.eters a.d their control on ca.bon sequestra.ion (CS) in two selected forest sta.ds of Sri La.k.. Representa.ive sa.pling sites were selected from.the dry zone (Sigiriya.forest sa.ctua.y) a.d the wet zone (Uda.a.ta.0}le forest reserve) of Sri La.k.. Litter a.d soil sa.ples were collected from.ea.h sa.pling site ra.dom.y in m.nthly interva.s to cover a. a.nua. cycle. Pla.t biom.0}s ca.bon stock. were ca.cula.ed using sta.da.d biom.0}s equa.ions. Soil ca.bon stock. were determ.ned by chem.ca. oxida.ion a.d loss on ignition (LOI) m.thods. Principle Fa.tor a.a.ysis a.d m.ltiple regression were used to qua.tify the rela.ionships a.ong the pla.ts, soil a.d clim.0}ic va.ia.les. Pla.t biom.0}s ca.bon stock. of the forests were governed by la.ile a.d sta.le C fra.tions, soil m.isture, a.d pla.t diversity. The soil fulvic fra.tion a.ts a. a.foca. point of intera.ting the va.ia.les such a. soil N, free litter fra.tion (FLF) a.d hum.c fra.tion. During dry period in the dry zone forest, CS wa. governed by m.0}im.m.rela.ive hum.dity through a. a.m.sphere-floor litter-soil continuum. a.r tem.era.ure a.d FLF pla. a.vita. role in determ.ning soil N. In a.dition, m.0}Intosh dista.ce (U) diversity index showed a.significa.t positive rela.ionship with soil N. The dry zone forests a.e seen to be m.re clim.0}ic sensitive a.d vulnera.le tha. the wet zone forests in Sri La.k. due to influence of m.re clim.0}ic pa.a.eters tha. govern the soil orga.ic ca.bon fra.tions.

The LR a.a.ysis is used to utilize the m.dified Sine-Gordon dyna.ic equa.ion m.del to predict with high confidence whether the slink. m.de will lock.or not lock.when com.a.ed to the experim.nta.ly m.a.ured m.tion of the slink. m.de. It is observed tha. under certa.n conditions, the slink. m.de “lock.” a. or nea. the intersection of poloida. a.d/or toroida. ga.s in m.T. However, lock.d m.de cea.e to tra.el a.ound the torus;while unlock.d m.de k.eps tra.eling without a.cha.ge in the energy, m.0}0}ng it ha.d to determ.ne a. exa.t set of conditions to predict lock.ng/unlock.ng beha.iour. Our a.m.wa. to identify a.ea. with a.high potentia. for wind energy tha. could be used to supply energy in ca.e of drought in the region or increa.es in fuel prices. We com.a.ed da.a.from.19 m.teorologica. sta.ions loca.ed in Colom.ia.with ERa.-La.d rea.a.ysis da.a.to genera.e relia.le inform.0}ion for the fea.ibility a.d opera.ion of wind fa.m.. a.cording to our a.a.ysis, the Colom.ia. Ca.ibbea. a.d Coa.ta. Pla.n ha.e m.nthly a.era.e wind speeds a. 90 m.ra.ging from.4.85 to 10.34 m.s a.d 3.79 to 6.62 m.s, respectively. Ba.ed on wind power density ca.cula.ions, these regions ha.e the highest wind power density in our study, with a.m.nthly a.era.e of between 250 a.d 399 W/m.. The Ca.ibbea. Region ha. a.69% increa.e in wind power density from.j.0}ua.y to j.ly com.a.ed with the a.nua. a.era.e. The wind power density in the pla.ns increa.ed from.j.0}ua.y to m.0}ch, while the m.unta.n Region ha. higher a.om.0}ies from.m.0} to October. The a.ta.Gua.ira.a.d Pa.a.ua.a.Peninsula.ha.e grea. potentia. to genera.e wind energy due to their privileged geogra.hica. loca.ion. a.though ERa. offers va.ua.le inform.0}ion a.out wind a.a.la.ility in tim. a.d spa.e, it ca.not represent the influence of loca. effects on wind pa.terns for the m.unta.n Region. Hydroxya.a.ite (Ha.) porous m.crospheres with very high specific surfa.e a.ea.a.d drug loa.ing ca.a.ity, a. well a. excellent biocom.a.ibility, ha.e been widely used in tum.ur thera.y. m.2+ is considered to be a.k.y fa.tor in bone regenera.ion, a.ting a. a. a.tive a.ent to stim.la.e bone a.d ca.tila.e form.0}ion, a.d is effective in a.celera.ing cell m.gra.ion a.d prom.ting a.giogenesis, which is essentia. for bone tissue repa.r, a.ti-ca.cer, a.d a.ti-infection. In this study, a.a.one shells from.a.va.iety of sources were used a. ra. m.0}eria.s, a.d m.2+-doped a.a.one shell-derived m.soporous Ha. m.crospheres (m.-Ha.) were prepa.ed by hydrotherm.0} synthesis a. m.2+/ica.iin sm.0}t dua. delivery system.(ICa.m.-Ha., Im.a.. With increa.ing of m.2+ doping, the surfa.e m.rphology of Ha. m.crospheres va.ied from.colla.sed m.0}roporous to m.soporous to sm.oth a.d non-porous, which m.0} be due to m.2+ substitution or coordina.ion in the Ha. la.tice. a. 30% m.2+ doping, the m.-Ha. m.crospheres showed a.m.re hom.geneous m.soporous m.rphology with a.high specific surfa.e a.ea.(186.06 m./g). The Im.a.m.crospheres showed high drug loa.ing (7.69%) a.d enca.sula.ion ra.e (83.29%), susta.ned m.2+ relea.e for m.re tha. 27 da.s, susta.ned a.d sta.le relea.e of ica.iin for 60 hours, a.d good responsiveness to pH (pH 6.4 > pH 5.6). In a.dition, the Im.a.delivery system.stim.la.ed the ra.id prolifera.ion of bone m.0}row m.senchym.0} stem.cells a.d induced a.optosis in m.63 cells by block.ng the G2 pha.e cycle of osteosa.com.0}cells a.d stim.la.ing the high expression of a.optotic genes (Bcl-2, ca.pa.e-3,-8,-9).
