Impact of vaccination on the dynamics of cOVID-19:A mathematical study using fractional derivatives

Arrival of a new disease mark. a yearlong destruction of human lives and economy in general,and if the disease turns out to be a pandemic the loss is ***-19 is one such pandemic that has claimed millions of lives till *** is a suffering throughout the world due to various factors associated with the pandemic,be it loss of livelihoods because of sudden shutdown of companies and lock.own,or loss of lives due to lack.of medical aid and inadequate vaccination *** this study,we develop a six-compartmental epidemiological model incorporating *** motivation behind the study is to analyze the significance of higher vaccination efficacy and higher rate of population getting vaccinated in controlling the rise in infectives and thereby the untimely demise of various *** work.begins with an ordinary differential equation model followed by stability analysis of the same,after which a fractional-order derivative model of the same is formulated and the existence of uniformly stable solution for the system is *** addition to this,we present the stability of the equilibria in general for the fractional model *** sensitivity analysis of the basic reproduction number along with its correlation with various parameters is *** addition to this,sensitivity of certain state variables in the fractional model with respect to *** orders as well with respect to different infection rate is exhibited in this *** related to lock.own and usage of face shields are incorporated in the entire study,and importance of these is highlighted in the study as *** major tak.away from the study is that mere vaccination will not sufice in eradication of the *** vaccine efficacy plays a major role along with other intervention included in the *** numerical simulations are carried out in MATLAB software using ode45 and fdel2.

This paper investigates the consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETM).consider the MASs with small-scale network. where a centralized dynamic ETM with global information of the MASs is first ***,a distributed dynamic ETM which only uses local information is developed for the MASs with large-scale *** is shown that the semi-global consensus of the MASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event *** addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable ***,the results are extended to regional consensus of the MASs with the bounded control *** simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with prescribed-time Nash equilibrium(PTNE)seek.ng problem in a pursuit-evasion game(PEG)involving agents with second-order *** order to achieve the prior-given and user-defined convergence time for the PEG,a PTNE seek.ng algorithm has been developed to facilitate collaboration among multiple pursuers for capturing the evader without the need for any global ***,it is theoretically proved that the prescribedtime convergence of the designed algorithm for achieving Nash equilibrium of ***,the effectiveness of the PTNE method was validated by numerical simulation results.A PEG consists of two groups of agents:evaders and *** pursuers aim to capture the evaders through cooperative efforts,while the evaders strive to evade *** is a classic noncooperative *** has attracted plenty of attention due to its wide application scenarios,such as smart grids[1],formation control[2],[3],and spacecraft rendezvous[4].It is noteworthy that most previous research on seek.ng the Nash equilibrium of the game,where no agent has an incentive to change its actions,has focused on asymptotic and exponential convergence[5]-[7].

We obtain an exact solution for spherically symmetric Letelier AdS black.holes immersed in perfect fluid dark.matter(PFDM).considering the cosmological constant as the positive pressure of the system and volume as its conjugate variable,we analyze the thermodynamics of our black.holes in the extended phase *** to the back.round clouds of strings parameter(a)and the parameter endowed with PFDM(β),we analyze the Hawk.ng temperature,entropy,and specific ***,we investigate the relationship between the photon sphere radius and phase transition for the Letelier AdS black.holes immersed in *** the analysis,with a particular condition,non-monotonic behaviors are found between the photon sphere radius,impact parameter,PFDM parameter,temperature,and *** can regard the changes in both the photon sphere radius and impact parameter before and after phase transition as the order parameter;their critical exponents near the critical point are equal to the same value,1/2,similar to that in ordinary thermal *** indicates that a universal relation of gravity may exist near the critical point for a black.hole thermodynamic system.

Adaptive neural network.control of a 2-DOF helicopter system considering input constraints and global prescribed performance

In this study, an adaptive neural network.NN) control is proposed for nonlinear two-degree-offreedom(2-DOF) helicopter systems considering the input constraints and global prescribed ***, radial basis function NN(RBFNN) is employed to estimate the unk.own dynamics of the helicopter system. Second, a smooth nonaffine function is exploited to approximate and address nonlinear constraint functions. Subsequently, a new prescribed function is proposed, and an original constrained error is transformed into an equivalent unconstrained error using the error transformation and barrier function transformation methods. The analysis of the established Lyapunov function proves that the controlled system is globally uniformly bounded. Finally, the simulation and experimental results on a constructed Quanser's test platform verify the rationality and feasibility of the proposed control.

Work.rs'task.specialization and division of labor are critical features of social insects'ecological *** has been proposed that the division of labor relies on response threshold models:individuals varying their sensitivity(and responsiveness)to biologically relevant stimuli and performing a specific task.when a stimulus exceeds an internal *** this work.we study carbohydrate and protein responsiveness and their relation to work.r task.specialization in Vespula germanica,an invasive social *** sucrose and peptone responsiveness of two different subcastes,preforagers and foragers,was determined by stimulating the antenna of the wasps with increasing concentrations of the solution and quantifying whether each concentration elicited a lick.ng *** studied responsiveness in five different ways:(1)response threshold,(2)concentration 50(concentration to which at least 50%of wasps responded),(3)maximum response,(4)mean scores and(5)median *** results suggest that V germanica foragers are more sensitive to sucrose(lower thresholds)than preforager ***,we found no differences for peptone thresholds(i.e.,a protein resource).Nonetheless,this is the first study to investigate response thresholds for protein *** intercaste variation in sucrose responsiveness shown in our work.contributes to the existing k.owledge about response threshold theory as a mechanism for task.specialization observed in V germanica.

Mechanistic insight into cr(Ⅵ)retention by Si-containing ferrihydrite

Hexavalent chromium[cr(Ⅵ)]causes serious harm to the environment due to its high toxicity,solubility,and ***(Fh)are the main adsorbent and trapping agent of cr(Ⅵ)in soils and aquifers,and they usually coexist with silicate(Si),forming Si-containing ferrihydrite(Si-Fh)***,the mechanism of cr(Ⅵ)retention by Si-Fh mixtures is poorly *** this study,the behaviors and mechanisms of cr(Ⅵ)adsorption onto Si-Fh with different Si/Fe molar ratios was *** electron microscope,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and other techniques were used to characterize Si-Fh and cr(Ⅵ)-loading of *** results show that specific surface area of Si-Fh increases gradually with increasing Si/Fe ratios,but cr(Ⅵ)adsorption on Si-Fh decreases with increasing Si/Fe *** is because with an increase in Si/Fe molar ratio,the point of zero charge of Si-Fh gradually decreases and electrostatic repulsion between Si-Fh and cr(Ⅵ)***,the complexation of cr(Ⅵ)is enhanced due to the increase in adsorbed hydroxyl(A-OH-)on Si-Fh with increasing Si/Fe molar ratio,which partly counteracts the effect of the electrostatic ***,the increase in the electrostatic repulsion has a greater impact on adsorption than the additional complexation with *** functional theory calculation further supports this observation,showing the increases in electron variation of bonding atoms and reaction energies of inner spherical complexes with the increase in Si/Fe ratio.
