Moiré superlattices based on twisted transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) heterostructures have recently emerged as a promising platform for probing novel and distinctive electronic phenomena in two-dimensional (2D) materials. By stacking TMD monolayers with a small twist angle, these superlattices create a periodic modulation of the electronic density of states, leading to the formation of mini bands. These mini bands can exhibit intriguing properties such as flat bands, correlated electron behavior, and unconventional superconductivity. This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent progress in Moiré superlattices formed from twisted TMD heterostructures. It covers the theoretical principles and experimental techniques for creating and studying these superlattices, and explores their potential applications in optoelectronics, quantum computing, and energy harvesting. The review also addresses key challenges, such as improving the scalability and reproducibility of the fabrication process, emphasizing the exciting opportunities and ongoing hurdles in this rapidly evolving field.

Development of an integrating sphere calibration method for Cimel sunphotometers in China aerosol remote sensing network

Based on the integrating sphere traced from the National Institute of Standards and Technology （NIST, USA）, a sphere calibration method and protocol for the China aerosol remote sensing network （CARSNET） Cimel sun photometer was established. Four CE318 sun photometers were verified using the proposed cal- ibration method and operational protocol. The calibration results showed that the instrument coefficients differed by less than 3% for visible （-5% for infrared） wavelengths from the original ones stated by Cimel Electronique. In situ validation experiment data showed that radiances at ±6° measured by sun collimator （aureole） were consistent with those measured by sky collimator （sky）, under both almucantar （ALMUC） and principal plane （PPLAN） scenarios. Differences at all wavelengths were less than 1%, indicating that the method and protocol are suitable for CARSNET field sun photometer calibration, and would benefit improvement of data quality and accuracy of network observations.

Milk fat globule membrane(MFGM)possesses various nutritional and biological benefits for mammals,whereas its effects on neonatal gut microbiota and barrier integrity remained *** study investigated the effects of MFGM administration on microbial compositions and intestinal barrier functions of neonatal *** newborn piglets were randomly allocated into a CON group or MFGM group,orally administered with saline or MFGM solution(1 g/kg body weight)respectively during the first postnatal week,and all piglets were breastfed during the whole neonatal *** present study found that the MFGM oral administration during the first postnatal week increased the plasma immunoglobulin(lg)G level,body weight and average daily gain of piglets(P<0.05)on 21 ***-tionally,MFGM administration enriched fecal SCFA-producing bacteria(Ruminococaceae_UCG-002,Ruminococaceae_UCG-010,Ruminococaceae_UCG-004,Ruminococaceae_UCG-014 and[Ruminococcus]_gauvrearuii_group),SCFA concentrations(acetate,propionate and butyrate;P<0.05)and their receptor(G-protein coupled receptor 41,GPR41).Furthermore,MFGM administration promoted intestinal villus morphology(P<0.05)and barrier functions by upregulating genes of tight junctions(E-cadherin,claudin-1,occludin and zonula occludin 1[ZO-1]),mucins(mucin-13 and mucin-20)and interleukin(IL)-22(P<0.05).Positive correlation was found between the beneficial microbes and SCFA levels pairwise with the intestinal barrier genes(P<0.05).In conclusion,orally administrating MFGM during the first postnatal week stimulated SCFA-producing bacteria colonization and SCFA generation,enhanced intes-tinal barrier functions and consequently improved growth performance of neonatal piglets on 21 *** findings will provide new insights about MFGM intervention for microbial colonization and intestinal development of neonates during their early life.

MHD and kinetic analysis of flow bursts in the Earth's plasma sheet

In an attempt to study the flow bursts in the Earth＇s plasma sheet we select an event that took place on August 7, 2004 in the expansion phase of a substorm, using data from the geomagnetic index, solar wind data, plasma and magnetic field observa- tions from C1 Cluster satellite （the Cluster mission has 4 satellites） and from Double Star TC-1 satellite. In MHD approach, TC-1 firstly observed the tailward flow, then the earthward, and finally the flow altemated in two directions. C1 firstly ob- served the earthward plasma flow, and then the tailward plasma flow. Before flow bursts are observed by TC-1 and C1, there are disturbances in local entropy with their tailward local entropy larger than those of the earthward. The kinetic features of the plasma flow observed by C1 are similar to those in MHD. However, kinetic characteristics of the plasma flow observed by TC-1 are far more than the description in MHD. The inadequacy mainly exists in two cases：（i） the firstly enhanced tailward flows given in MHD are found without significant increase of the energetic tailward flux; （ii） the almost stagnant flow in MHD is composed of the enhanced energetic ion flux in both earthward and tailward directions. The earthward flow burst observed by TC-1 might be multiple overshoots and rebounds. The earthward flow burst observed by C1 might be simply rebounded in the near-Earth. The pulsation observed by C1 is earlier than that observed by TC-1 with the former intensity less than that of the latter. After the energetic ion flux in the tailward direction is significantly enhanced, the power spectrum intensity of the ULF wave commences to increase obviously, which may suggest that the stream instability is closely correlated with ULF pulsations.

Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis(HLH)is a highly fatal condition with the positive feedback loop between continued immune cell activation and cytokine storm as the core mechanism to mediate multiple organ *** by macrophage membranes harbor the receptors with special high affinity for proin-flammation cytokines,lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated macrophage membrane-coated nanoparticles(LMNP)were developed to show strong sponge ability to both IFN-γand IL-6 and suppressed overactivation of macrophages by inhibiting JAK/STAT signaling pathway both in vitro and in ***,LMNP also efficiently alleviated HLH-related symptoms including cytopenia,hepatosplenomegaly and hepatorenal dysfunction and save the life of mouse ***,its sponge effect also worked well for five human HLH samples in ***,it’s firstly demonstrated that biocompatible LMNP could dampen HLH with high potential for clinical transformation,which also provided alternative insights for the treatment of other cytokine storm-mediated pathologic conditions such as COVID-19 infection and cytokine releasing syndrome during CAR-T therapy.

Inhibiting effect of tungstic compounds on glucose hydrogenation over Ru/C catalyst

The effect of acid component including various conventional acids and tungstic compounds on glucose hydrogenation over a series of binary catalyst system containing Ru/C catalyst was investigated. The results showed that HC1, H2SO4, H3BO3, H3PO4, and HNO3 had negligible effect, while all the tungstic compounds imposed inhibiting effects on the hydrogenation of glucose over Ru/C catalyst, and the suppressing effect followed the order of H2WO4〉HPW〉WO3〉AMT〉HSiW. This order is the same as the order of ethylene glycol （EG） yields in the one-pot conversion of glucose to EG, suggesting the important role of competition between glucose hydrogenation and retro-aldol condensation in controlling the selectivity of EG.

针对含完全未知时滞的不确定非线性系统的控制问题,提出了一种自适应模糊动态面控制方案。首先采用模糊逻辑系统逼近系统的未知时滞函数,进而用参考信号代换逼近器输入中的未知时滞信号,取消了对未知时滞常作的假设,摆脱了控制器构造对时滞假设条件的依赖性。模糊逼近和时滞代换产生的误差则采用自适应边界技术处理。基于Lyapunov-Krasovskii泛函,证明了闭环系统所有信号半全局一致最终有界,通过调节设计参数可以实现任意的跟踪精度。仿真实例进一步说明了该方案的可行性。

In-flight observations of electromagnetic interferences emitted by satellite

Using the data from STAFF/TC-1, this paper for the first time analyzes the electromagnetic interferences of Chinese scientific satellite. The electromagnetic interference of satellite exists mainly below 30 Hz, but can extend to 190 Hz with an obviously decreasing power spectral density. The electromagnetic interferences at frequencies below 190 Hz have good correlation with the solar aspect angle. The electromagnetic interferences at frequencies between 190 and 830 Hz have also correlation with solar as-pect angle. However, the electromagnetic interferences at frequencies above 830 Hz have no correlation with the solar aspect angle. The correlation coefficient between solar aspect angel and electromagnetic interferences is around 0.90. The larger the solar aspect angle, the stronger the satellite electromagnetic interference. When the solar aspect angle increases from 90.6° to 93.6°, the electromagnetic interferences at frequencies 100 Hz) of the total electromagnetic interference produced by satellite. These in flight observations of electromagnetic radiation of satellites will be very helpful to the designs of future satellites of space sciences or earthquake sciences.

The cumulative analgesic effect of repeated electroacupuncture involves synaptic remodeling in the hippocampal CA3 region

In the present study, we examined the analgesic effect of repeated electroacupuncture at bilateral Zusanfi （ST36） and Yanglingquan （GB34） once a day for 14 consecutive days in a rat model of chronic sciatic nerve constriction injury-induced neuropathic pain. In addition, concomitant changes in calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II expression and synaptic ultrastructure of neurons in the hippocampal CA3 region were examined. The thermal pain threshold （paw withdrawal latency） was increased significantly in both groups at 2 weeks after electroacupuncture intervention compared with 2 days of electroacupuncture. In ovariectomized rats with chronic constriction injury, the analgesic effect was significantly reduced. Electroacupuncture for 2 weeks significantly diminished the injury-induced increase in synaptJc cleft width and thinning of the postsynaptJc density, and it significantly suppressed the down-regulation of intracellular calcium/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II expression in the hippocampal CA3 region. Repeated electroacupuncture intervention had a cumulative analgesic effect on injury-induced neuropathic pain reactions, and it led to synaptic remodeling of hippocampal neurons and upregulated calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kJnase II expression in the hippocampal CA3 region.

Correlation between the cumulative analgesic effect of electroacupuncture intervention and synaptic plasticity of hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus neurons in rats with sciatica

In the present study, a rat model of chronic neuropathic pain was established by ligation of the sciatic nerve and a model of learning and memory impairment was established by ovariectomy to investigate the analgesic effect of repeated electroacupuncture stimulation at bilateral Zusanfi （ST36） and Yanglingquan （GB34）. In addition, associated synaptic changes in neurons in the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus were examined. Results indicate that the thermal pain threshold （paw withdrawal latency） was significantly increased in rats subjected to 2-week electroacupuncture intervention compared with 2-day electroacupuncture, but the analgesic effect was weakened remarkably in ovariectomized rats with chronic constrictive injury. 2-week electroacupuncture intervention substantially reversed the chronic constrictive injury-induced increase in the synaptic cleft width and thinning of the postsynaptic density. These findings indicate that repeated electroacupuncture at bilateral Zusanfi and Yanglingquan has a cumulative analgesic effect and can effectively relieve chronic neuropathic pain by remodeling the synaptic structure of the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus.
