Effects of Gastrodiae rhizoma on proliferation and differentiation of human embryonic neural stem cells

Objective:To investigate the effects of Gastrodiae rhizoma,a dried root of Gastrodia elata Blume,on proliferation and differentiation of human NSCs derived from embryonic stem ***:A 70%ethanol extract of Gastrodiae rhizoma(EEGR) was estimated with4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol as a representative constituent by ***:MTT assay showed that the treatment with EEGR increased the viability of NSCs in growth *** to contro1,EEGR increased the number of dendrites and denritic spines extended from a differentiated *** EEGR decreased the mRNA expression of Nestin,it increased that of Tuj1 and MAP2 in NSCs grown in differentiation *** analysis using confocal microscopy also revealed the increased expression of MAP2 in dendrites of EEGR-treated ***,EEGR decreased mRNA expression of Sox2 in NSCs grown even in growth ***:In conclusion,our study demonstrates for the first time that EEGR induced proliferation and neuronal differentiation of NSCs,suggesting its potential benefits on NSC-based therapies and neuroregeneration in various neurodegenerative diseases and brain Injuries.

Network Traffic Obfuscation System for IIoT-Cloud Control Systems

One of the latest technologies enabling remote control,operational efficiency upgrades,and real-time big-data monitoring in an industrial control system(ICS)is the IIoT-Cloud ICS,which integrates the Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)and the cloud into the *** an ICS benefits from the application of IIoT and the cloud in terms of cost reduction,efficiency improvement,and real-time monitoring,the application of this technology to an ICS poses an unprecedented security risk by exposing its terminal devices to the outside *** adversary can collect information regarding senders,recipients,and prime-time slots through traffic analysis and use it as a linchpin for the next attack,posing a potential threat to the *** address this problem,we designed a network traffic obfuscation system(NTOS)for the IIoT-Cloud ICS,based on the requirements derived from the ICS characteristics and limitations of existing NTOS *** a strategy to solve this problem wherein a decrease in the traffic volume facilitates traffic analysis or reduces the packet transmission speed,we proposed an NTOS based on packet scrambling,wherein a packet is split into multiple pieces before transmission,thus obfuscating network *** minimize the ICS modification and downtime,the proposed NTOS was designed using an agentbased *** addition,for the ICS network traffic analyzer to operate normally in an environment wherein the NTOS is applied,a rule-based NTOS was adopted such that the actual traffic flow is known only to the device that is aware of the rule and is blocked for *** experimental results verified that the same time requested for response and level of difficulty of analysis were maintained by the application of an NTOS based on packet scrambling,even when the number of requests received by the server per second was *** network traffic analyzer of the ICS can capture the packet flow by using the pre-communicated NTOS *** addition,by designing an N

The current research aims to simulate the flight trajectory of the North Korean submarine–launched ballistic missile(SLBM)and analyze its flight characteristics based on its range control ***,North Korea has completed the test flight of SLBM and it has become a significant threat to international *** Korea obtained SLBM technologies from Russia while disbanding decommissioned Russian submarines,and it is suspected that North Korea will continue to experiment in related fields along with its continued attempts to miniaturize nuclear *** North Korea completes the development of SLBM and deploys the missiles,it means the completion of the three asymmetric warfare elements(nuclear weapon,ballistic missile,and submarine)and they will be the most significant threats to northeast ***,it is imperative to scientifically analyze SLBM to adeptly respond to such *** characteristic of SLBM is capability of attacking its target in a variety of ways based on its range control *** on this fact,the current research derives the flight equation of North Korean SLBM and simulates its flight trajectory based on various range control *** flight trajectories that we derive can be used to establish an effective anti-ballistic missile defense system in northeast Asia.

Oxycodone hydrochloride is a semi-synthetic opioid agonist that provides very effective relief for moderate to severe pain in cancer and post-operative patients. Controlled release oxycodone formulations have been studied to enhance the therapeutic effect by providing constant release over the whole dosing interval and improve patient’s convenience by reducing the frequency of administration as well.
