Although lithium-sulfur batteries are one of the favorable candidates for next-generation energy storage devices,a few key challenges that have not been addressed have limited its *** challenges include lithium dendrite growth in the anode side,volume change of the active material,poor electrical conductivity,dissolution and migration of poly sulfides,and slow rate of solid-state reactions in the cathode *** the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur batteries is greatly affected by the design of the cathode host material,it has also been widely discussed in addressing the abovementioned *** this paper,three design ideas of cathode host materials in terms of microstructure,crystal structure and electronic structure are introduced and ***,the current progress of these three structural design strategies and their effects on the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur batteries are discussed in ***,future directions in the structural design of cathode materials for lithium-sulfur batteries are discussed and further perspectives are provided.

Precision medicine,currently a hotspot in mainstream medicine,has been strongly promoted in recent years. With rapid technological development,such as next-generation sequencing,and fierce competition in molecular targeted drug exploitation,precision medicine represents an advance in science and technology; it also fulfills needs in public health care. The clinical translation and application of precision medicine-especially in the prevention and treatment of tumors-is far from satisfactory; however,the aims of precision medicine deserve approval. Thus,this medical approach is currently in its infancy; it has promising prospects,but it needs to overcome numbers of problems and deficiencies. It is expected that in addition to conventional symptoms and signs,precision medicine will define disease in terms of the underlying molecular characteristics and other environmental susceptibility factors. Those expectations should be realized by constructing a novel data network,integrating clinical data from individual patients and personal genomic background with existing research on the molecular makeup of diseases. In addition,multi-omics analysis and multi-discipline collaboration will become crucial elements in precision medicine. Precision medicine deserves strong support,and its development demands directed momentum. We propose three kinds of impetus(research,application and collaboration impetus) for such directed momentum toward promoting precision medicine and accelerating its clinical translation and application.

The phase behavior of gas condensate in reservoir formations differs from that in pressure-volume-temperature(PVT)cells because it is influenced by porous media in the reservoir *** was used as a sample to investigate the influence of porous media on the phase behavior of the gas *** pore structure was first analyzed using computed tomography(CT)scanning,digital core technology,and a pore network *** sandstone core sample was then saturated with gas condensate for the pressure depletion *** each pressure-depletion state was stable,realtime CT scanning was performed on the *** scanning results of the sample were reconstructed into three-dimensional grayscale images,and the gas condensate and condensate liquid were segmented based on gray value discrepancy to dynamically characterize the phase behavior of the gas condensate in porous *** network models of the condensate liquid ganglia under different pressures were built to calculate the characteristic parameters,including the average radius,coordination number,and tortuosity,and to analyze the changing mechanism caused by the phase behavior change of the gas *** types of condensate liquid(clustered,branched,membranous,and droplet ganglia)were then classified by shape factor and Euler number to investigate their morphological changes dynamically and *** results show that the dew point pressure of the gas condensate in porous media is 12.7 MPa,which is 0.7 MPa higher than 12.0 MPa in PVT *** average radius,volume,and coordination number of the condensate liquid ganglia increased when the system pressure was between the dew point pressure(12.7 MPa)and the pressure for the maximum liquid dropout,Pmax(10.0 MPa),and decreased when it was below *** volume proportion of clustered ganglia was the highest,followed by branched,membranous,and droplet *** study provides crucial experimental evidence for the phase behavior chan

Effective urban land-use re-planning and the strategic arrangement of drainage pipe networks can significantly enhance urban flood defense *** at reducing the potential risks of urban flooding,this paper presents a straightforward and efficient approach to an urban distributed runoff model(UDRM).The model is developed to quantify the discharge and water depth within urban drainage pipe networks under varying rainfall intensities and land-use *** Nash efficiency coefficient of UDRM exceeds 0.9,which indicates its high computational efficiency and potential benefit in predicting urban *** prediction of drainage conditions under both current and re-planned land-use types is achieved by adopting different flood recurrence *** findings reveal that the re-planned land-use strategies could effectively diminish flood risk upstream of the drainage pipe network across 20-year and 50-year flood recurrence ***,in the case of extreme rainfall events(a 100-year flood recurrence),the re-planned land-use approach fell short of fulfilling the requirements necessary for flood disaster *** these instances,the adoption of larger-diameter drainage pipes becomes an essential requisite to satisfy drainage ***,the proposed UDRM effectively combines land-use information with pipeline data to give practical suggestions for pipeline modification and land-use optimization to combat urban ***,this methodology warrants further promotion in the field of urban re-planning.

AIM To investigate the prognostic value of the combination of preoperative plasma fibrinogen and CA199 in patients with gallbladder carcinoma(GBC).METHODS The clinicopathological data of 154 GBC patients were retrospectively reviewed after surgery. A receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was plotted to verify the optimum cut-off values for plasma fibrinogen and CA199. Univariate and multivariate survival analyses were performed to identify the factors associated with GBC prognosis. based on the HRs calculated via multivariate survival analyses, patients with elevated plasma fibrinogen and CA199 levels were allocated a score of 2.1; those with an elevated plasma fibrinogen level only were allocated a score of 1, those with an elevated CA199 level only were allocated a score of 1.1, and those with neither of these abnormalities were allocated a score of *** ROC curve analysis showed that the optimum cut-off values for preoperative plasma fibrinogen and CA199 were 3.47 g/L and 25.45 U/mL, respectively. Multivariate analysis indicated that elevated preoperative plasma fibrinogen and CA199 levels were significantly correlated with worse overall survival(OS)(HR = 1.711, 95%CI: 1.114-2.627, P = 0.014, and HR = 1.842, 95%CI: 1.111-3.056, P = 0.018). When we combined these two parameters, the area under the ROC curve increased from 0.735(for preoperative plasma fibrinogen only) and 0.729(for preoperative CA199 only) to 0.765. When this combined variable was added to the multivariate analysis, the combination of plasma fibrinogen and CA199(P < 0.001), resection margin(P < 0.001) and TNM stage(P = 0.010) were independent prognostic factors for *** The combination of plasma fibrinogen and CA199 may serve as a more efficient independent prognostic biomarker for postoperative GBC patients than either parameter alone.

AIM To detect the expression of threonine and tyrosine kinase(TTK) in gallbladder cancer(GBC) specimens and analyze the associations between TTK expression and clinicopathological parameters and clinical *** A total of 68 patients with GBC who underwent surgical resection were enrolled in this study. The expression of TTK in GBC tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry. The assessment of TTKexpression was conducted using the H-scoring system. H-score was calculated by the multiplication of the overall staining intensity with the percentage of positive cells. The expression of TTK in the cytoplasm and nucleus was scored separately to achieve respective H-s c o r e v a l u e s. AIM To clarify the prognostic significance of preoperative albumin-to-alkaline phosphatase ratio(AAPR) in cholangiocarcinoma(CCA) subjects receiving *** In this retrospective study, we included 303 CCA patients receiving surgery without preoperative therapy between 2002 and 2014. Clinicopathological characteristics(including AAPR) were analyzed to determine predictors of postoperative overall survival and recurrence-free survival(RFS). In addition,univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards models were conducted,followed by application of time-dependent receiver operating curves to identify the optimal *** Univariate and multivariate analyses revealed both decreased overall survival[hazard ratio(HR): 2.88, 95%CI: 1.19-5.78] and recurrence-free survival(HR: 2.31,95%CI: 1.40–3.29) in patients with AAPR < 0.41 compared to those with AAPR ≥0.41. The optimal cut-off of AAPR was 0.41. Of the 303 subjects, 253(83.5%) had an AAPR over 0.41. The overall 1-, 3- and 5-year survival rates were 70.2%, 38.0% and 16.5%, respectively in the low(< 0.41) AAPR group, which were significantly lower than those in the high(≥ 0.41) AAPR group(81.7%, 53.9%, and 33.4%,respectively)(P < 0.0001). Large tumor size, multiple tumors, and advanced clinical stage were also identified as significant predictors of poor *** Our outcomes showed that AAPR was a potential valuable prognostic indicator in CCA patients undergoing surgery, which should be further confirmed by prospective studies. Moreover, it is necessary to investigate the mechanisms concerning the correlation of low AAPR with poor post-operative survival in CCA patients.
