Several ternary oxides CuCeZrO_(y)(CCZ)were synthesized by a facile grinding method followed by cal.ination at high temperatures,and used as catalysts for CO oxidation at low *** influences of cal.ination temperature(400-600℃)on the physicochemical properties of the assynthesized ternary oxides were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis/differential scanning calorimetry(TGA/DSC),X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),Raman,inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry(iCP-OES),N_(2) adsorption,H_(2)-temperature programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** results show that the increase in cal.ination temperature from 400 to 500℃is conducive to the high dispersion of CuOx on catalyst surface and the incorporation of Cu species into the support to form the Cu-Ce-Zr-O solid *** raising of cal.ination temperature from 500 to 600℃,however,leads to the segregation of Cu species from the solid solution to aggregate on support surface and growth of highly dispersed CuOx *** highest catalytic activity is acquired over the CCZ cal.ined at 500℃,which can be ascribed to the largest contents of Cu+species and oxygen vacancies owing to the formation of the maximum amount of Cu-Ce-Zr-O solid solution.

Rare earth(RE) elements are excellent modifiers for non-metal.ic inclusions that inevitably appear in steel and affect steel properties. This paper reviews the research status of inclusions modification by RE elements and the changes it cause on steel properties. First, the inclusion changes caused by RE modification are described. Generally, after adding pure RE, the main evolution of inclusions occurs as M →M + RE-Al-O → RE-Al-O + RE_(2)O_(2)S → RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE—S/RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE-O with an increase in the RE content(M represents the inclusions before RE addition). The type of final.inclusion obtained after RE modification is related to the relative contents of S and O in the steel. Moreover, fine, regular, and uniformly distributed inclusions can be obtained with appropriate RE addition. However, the effectiveness of inclusions modification by adding both RE and non-RE elements is closely related to the order of their addition. Second, the applications and advantages of thermodynamic calculations in the study of RE-modified inclusions are introduced. Third, the changes in the corrosion resistance, impact properties,and other properties of steel caused by the modification of inclusions by RE are reviewed. Finally, the perspectives and trends of inclusions modified by RE elements in the steel.industry are presented.

This paper builds a binary tree for the target based on the bounding volume hierarchy technology,thereby achieving strict acceleration of the shadow judgment process and reducing the computational complexity from the original O(N^(3))to O(N^(2)logN).Numerical results show that the proposed method is more efficient than the traditional *** is verified in mul.iple examples that the proposed method can complete the convergence of the ***,the proposed method avoids the error of judging the lit-shadow relationship based on the normal vector,which is beneficial to current iteration and *** with the brute force method,the current method can improve the simulation efficiency by 2 orders of *** proposed method is more suitable for scattering problems in electrically large cavities and complex scenarios.

Metal(aluminum and boron)based energetic materials have been wildly applied in various fields including aerospace,explosives and micro-devices due to their high energy ***,the low combustion efficiency and reactivity of metal fuels,especially boron(B),severely limit their practical ***,mul.i-component 3D microspheres of HMX/B/Al/PTFE(HBA)have been designed and successfully prepared by emul.ion and solvent evaporation method to achieve superior energy and combustion *** reactivity and energy output of HBA are systematically measured by ignitionburning test,constant-volume explosion vessel system and bomb *** to the increased interfacial contact and reaction area,HBA shows higher flame propagation rate,faster pressurization rate and larger combustion heat of 29.95 cm/s,1077 kPa/s,and 6164.43 J/g,which is 1.5 times,3.5 times,and 1.03 times of the physical mixed counterpart(HBA-P).Meanwhile,HBA also shows enhanced energy output and reactivity than 3D microspheres of HMX/B/PTFE(HB)resul.ing from the high reactivity of *** reaction mechanism of 3D microspheres is comprehensively investigated through combustion emission spectral and thermal analysis(TG-DSC-MS).The superior reactivity and energy of HBA originate from the surface etching of fluorine to the inert shell(Al_(2)O_(3) and B_(2)O_(3))and the initiation effect of Al to *** work offers a promising approach to design and prepare high-performance energetic materials for the practical applications.

Capacitors are widely used in pulsed magnet power supplies to reduce ripple voltage,store energy,and decrease power *** this study,DC-link capacitors in pulsed power supplies were *** deriving an analytical method for the capacitor current on the H-bridge topology side,the root-mean-square value of the capacitor current was calculated,which helps in selecting the DC-link *** proposed method solves this problem quickly and with high *** current reconstruction of the DC-link capacitor is proposed to avoid structural damage in the capacitor’s current measurement,and the capacitor’s hotspot temperature and temperature rise are calculated using the FFT *** test results showed that the error between the calculated and measured temperature increases was within 1.5℃.Finally,the lifetime of DC-link capacitors was predicted based on Monte Carlo *** proposed method can evaluate the reliability of DC-link capacitors in a non-isolated switching pulsed power supply for accelerators and is also applicable to film capacitors.

BACKGROUND Percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)is a pivotal.intervention for osteoporotic fractures,pathological vertebral compression fractures,and vertebral bone *** its efficacy,the procedure presents challenges,notably complications arising from intradural cement *** and accurate diagnosis,coupled with emergent intervention is imperative to improve patient *** case report illuminates the intricacies and potential complications associated with PKP,emphasizing the critical need for vigilant monitoring,prompt diagnosis,and immediate intervention to mitigate adverse *** SUMMARY A 58-year-old male patient,experiencing a T7 osteoporosis-related pathological compression fracture,underwent PKP at a local *** weeks postprocedure,the patient developed paraplegic and dysuric symptoms,necessitating emergency decompression *** improvement was achieved,marked by the restoration of muscle strength,sensation,and *** PKP intradural cement leakage following PKP is unusual and potentially *** imaging examinations,urgent evaluation,and the decompression surgery are essential,which help alleviate symptoms associated with spinal damage,markedly improving the overall prognosis.

Graphene's large theoretical surface area and high conductivity make it an attractive anode material for potassium-ion batteries(PiBs).However,its practical application is hindered by small.interlayer distance and long ion transfer ***,this paper aims to address the issue by introducing MXene through a simple and scalable method for assembling graphene and realizing ultrahigh P doping *** findings reveal that MXene and P-C bonds have a "pillar effect" on the structure of graphene,and the P-C bond plays a primary *** addition,N/P co-doping introduces abundant defects,providing more active sites for K^(+) storage and facilitating K^(+) *** expected,the developed ultrahigh phosphorous/nitrogen co-doped flexible reduced graphene oxide/MXene(NPrGM) electrode exhibits remarkable reversible discharge capacity(554 mA hg^(-1) at 0.05 A g^(-1)),impressive rate capability(178 mA h g^(-1) at 2 A g^(-1)),and robust cyclic stability(0.0005% decay per cycle after 10,000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,the assembled activated carbon‖NPrGM potassium-ion hybrid capacitor(PiHC) can deliver an impressive energy density of 131 W h kg^(-1) and stable cycling performance with 98.1% capacitance retention after5000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).Such a new strategy will effectively promote the practical application of graphene materials in PiBs/PiHCs and open new avenues for the scalable development of flexible films based on two-dimensional materials for potential applications in energy storage,thermal.interface,and electromagnetic shiel.ing.

Rotavirus is one of the pathogenic causes that induce diarrhea in young animals, especially piglets, worldwide. However, nowadays, there is no specific drug available to treat the disease, and the related vaccines have no obvious efficiency in some countries. Via analyzing the pathogenesis of rotavirus, it inducing diarrhea is mainly due to disturb enteric nervous system, destroy gut mucosal.integrity, induce intracellular electrolyte imbalance, and impair gut microbiota and immunity. Many studies have already proved that prebiotics and probiotics can mitigate the damage and diarrhea induced by rotavirus infection in hosts. Based on these, the current review summarizes and discusses the effects and mechanisms of prebiotics and probiotics on rotavirus-induced diarrhea in piglets. This information will highlight the basis for the swine production utilization of prebiotics and probiotics in the prevention or treatment of rotavirus infection in the future.
