Distributed H_∞ PID Feedback for Improving Consensus Performance of Arbitrary-delayed Multi-agent System

The H∞ proportional-integral-differential(PID) feedback for arbitrary-order delayed multi-agent system is investigated to improve the system performance. The closed-loop multi-input multi-output(MIMO) control framework with the distributed PID controller is firstly described for the multi-agent system in a unified way. Then, by using the matrix theory, the prescribed H∞performance criterion of the multi-agent system is shown to be equivalent to several independent H∞ performance constraints of the single-input single-output(SISO) subsystem with respect to the eigenvalues of the Laplacian matrix. Subsequently, for each subsystem,the set of the PID controllers satisfying the required H∞ performance constraint is analytically characterized based on the extended Hermite-Biehler theorem. Finally, the three-dimensional set of the decentralized H∞ PID control parameters is derived by finding the intersection of the H∞ PID regions for all the decomposed subsystems. The simulation results reveal the effectiveness of the proposed method.

We investigate the similarities and differences among three queue rules,the first-in-first-out(FIFO)rule,last-in-firstout(LIFO)rule and random-in-random-out(RIRO)rule,on dynamical networks with limited buffer *** our network model,nodes move at each time *** are transmitted by an adaptive routing strategy,combining Euclidean distance and node load by a tunable *** of this routing strategy,at the initial stage of increasing buffer size,the network density will increase,and the packet loss rate will *** loss and traffic congestion occur by these three rules,but nodes keep unblocked and lose no packet in a larger buffer size range on the RIRO rule *** packets are lost and traffic congestion occurs,different dynamic characteristics are shown by these three queue ***,a phenomenon similar to Braess’paradox is also found by the LIFO rule and the RIRO rule.

Serum proteins represent an important class of drug and imaging agent delivery vectors. In this mini- review, key advantages of using serum proteins are discussed, followed by the particular advantages and challenges associated with employing soluble folate binding protein. In particular, approaches employing drugs that target folate metabolism are reviewed. Additionally, the slow-onset, tight- binding interaction of folate with folate binding protein and the relationship to a natural oligomerization mechanism is discussed. These unique aspects of folate binding protein suggest interesting applications for the protein as a vector for further drug and imaging agent development.

Soil microbial biomass and community structures are commonly used as indicators for soil quality and fertility. A investigation was performed to study the effects of long-term natural restoration, cropping, and bare fallow managements on the soil microbial biomass and bacterial community structures in depths of 0-10, 20 30, and 40-50 cm in a black soil （Mollisol）. Microbial biomass was estimated from chloroform fumigation-extraction, and bacterial community structures were determined by analysis of 16S rDNA using polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis （PCR- DGGE）. Experimental results showed that microbial biomass significantly declined with soil depth in the managements of restoration and cropping, but not in the bare fallow. DGGE profiles indicated that the band number in top 0-10 cm soils was less than that in depth of 20-30 or 40-50 cm. These suggested that the microbial population was high but the bacterial community structure was simple in the topsoil. Cluster and principle component analysis based on DGGE banding patterns showed that the bacterial community structure was affected by soil depth more primarily than by managements, and the succession of bacterial community as increase of soil depth has a similar tendency in the three managements. Fourteen predominating DGGE bands were excised and sequenced, in which 6 bands were identified as the taxa of Verrueomicrobia, 2 bands as Actinobacteria, 2 bands as α-Proteobacteria, and the other 4 bands as 8-Proteobacteria, Aeidobacteria, Nitrospira, and unclassified bacteria. In addition, the sequences of 11 DGGE bands were closely related to uncultured bacteria. Thus, the bacterial community structure in black soil was stable, and the predominating bacterial groups were uncultured.

AIM To investigate the underlying mechanisms of the protective role of remote ischemic perconditioning (RIPerC) in rat liver transplantation. METHODS Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to sham, orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT), ischemic postconditioning (IPostC) or RIPerC. After 3 h reperfusion, blood samples were taken for measurement of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, creatinine (Cr) and creatinine kinase-myocardial band (CK-MB). The liver lobes were harvested for the following measurements: reactive oxygen species (ROS), H2O2, mitochondrial membrane potential (Delta psi m) and total nitric oxide (NO). These measurements were determined using an ROS/H2O2, JC1 and Total NOx Assay Kit, respectively. Endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) was analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR) and western blotting, and peroxynitrite was semiquantified by western blotting of 3-nitrotyrosine. RESULTS Compared with the OLT group, the grafts subjected to RIPerC showed significantly improved liver and remote organ functions (P < 0.05). ROS (P < 0.001) including H2O2 (P < 0.05) were largely elevated in the OLT group as compared with the sham group, and RIPerC (P < 0.05) reversed this trend. The collapse of Delta psi m induced by OLT ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury was significantly attenuated in the RIPerC group (P < 0.001). A marked increase of NO content and phosphoserine eNOS, both in protein and mRNA levels, was observed in liver graft of the RIPerC group as compared with the OLT group (P < 0.05). I/R-induced 3-nitrotyrosine content was significantly reduced in the RIPerC group as compared with the OLT group (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences between the RIPerC and IPostC groups for all the results except Cr. The Cr level was lower in the RIPerC group than in the IPostC group (P < 0.01).
