Glucose-sensitive membrane has potential application in self-regulating insulin *** acid(PBA)is a well-known glucose ***,most PBA-based glucose-sensitive materials are expansion-type,which are not suitable as chemical valves in membrane pores for self-regulating insulin *** to a new glucose-sensitive mechanism,we synthesized PBA-based contraction-type glucose-sensitive liner polymer and ***,a glucose-sensitive membrane was prepared by grafting PBA-based contraction-type glucose-sensitive linear polymer on the membrane *** adjusting the chain length and chain density,the glucose-sensitivity of the membrane was *** membrane can reversibly regulate insulin release at physiologically relevant glucose concentrations in simulates body fluids and fetal bovine *** membrane also has good stability,anti-fouling and biocom *** has potential application in selfregulating insulin release.

Sex pheromones are considered to play critical roles in partner communication of most parasitic ***,the identification of sex pheromone components remains limited to a few families of parasitoid *** this study,we functionally characterized a candidate sex pheromone component in Microplitis mediator(Hymenoptera:Braconidae),a solitary parasitoid of Noctuidae *** found that the body surface extract from female wasps could significantly stimulate courtship behavior of *** chromatography-electroantennographic detection(GC-EAD)analysis revealed that a candidate semiochemical from extract triggered significant electrophysiological response of antennae of *** performing gas chromatography-mass spectrometer(GC-MS)measurement,GC-EAD active compound was identified as n-octyl acrylate,a candidate sex pheromone component in female *** electroantennogram(EAG)tests,antennae of male wasps showed significantly higher electrophysiological responses to n-octyl acrylate than those of females.Y-tube olfactometer assays indicated that male wasps significantly chose n-octyl acrylate compared with the ***,male wasps showed a remarkable preference for n-octyl acrylate in a simulated field condition behavioral trial;simultaneously,n-octyl acrylate standard could also trigger significant courtship behavior in *** propose that n-octyl acrylate,as a candidate vital sex pheromone component,could be utilized to design behavioral regulators of *** to implement the protection and utilization of natural enemies.

BACKGROUND Tankyrase 2(TNKS2)is a potential candidate molecular target for the prognosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),but its biological functions are *** To investigate the biological functions of TNKS2 in *** Using a lentiviral vector,we generated H647 model cells with TNKS2 knockdown by RNA interference and A549 model cells with TNKS2 overexpression by tran-sfection with a TNKS2 overexpressing *** and decreased exp-ression levels of TNKS2 in the two cell lines were verified using real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot *** apopto-sis,proliferation,and migration were determined using flow cytometry,carbo-xyfluorescein succinimidyl ester staining,and scratch assay,***-munofluorescence staining was conducted to examine TNKS2 andβ-catenin ex-pression levels in the two transfected cell lines and the non-transfected *** TNKS2 mRNA and protein expression was significantly higher in the highly malignant NCI-H647 cells,while it remained at a low level in the less malignant A549 ***-mediated overexpression of TNKS2 in A549 cells resulted in a 3-fold increase in gene expression and a 1.7-fold increase in protein expression(P<0.01).Conversely,shRNA interference targeting TNKS2 Led to an 8-fold decrease in gene expression and a 3-fold decrease in protein expression(P<0.01)in NCI-H647 ***,the cell apoptosis rate was significantly reduced(50%)and cell migration rate was increased(35%)in the TNKS2 overexpression group than in the control group(P<0.05).In contrast,shTNKS2 promoted apoptosis by more than one fold and reduced migration by 60%(P<0.05).Immunofluorescence analysis revealed enhanced nuclear localization ofβ-catenin fluorescence signal associated with high TNKS2 expression *** blot analysis investigating TNKS2/β-catenin-related proteins indicated consistent changes between TNKS2 andβ-catenin expression in lung can

基于超分子主客体作用的动态交联在构筑用于生物大分子和细胞载体的可注射水凝胶输送材料方面具备很多优势,但单一性质交联点的动态快慢程度固定,无法进行调节,难以实现水凝胶动态可调的性能.本研究利用葫芦[8]脲(CB[8])能够与它的客体分子以摩尔比为1/2的比例形成同种三元复合物主客体的相互作用,设计了一种双组分超分子动态交联水凝胶系统.在水凝胶聚合物骨架的侧链上同时引入偶氮苯与苯基吡啶盐2种客体基团,其中偶氮苯客体与CB[8]的结合较弱,呈现较快的动态可逆性质;苯基吡啶盐客体与CB[8]的结合较强,呈现较慢的动态可逆性质.设计不同比例的2种动态交联,得到了系列网络结构相同,但交联点性质动态可调的水凝胶材料.水凝胶性能研究结果显示,得到的材料能够在流变学机械性能、自修复、剪切变稀、应力松弛、大分子药物释放等生物医用关键性质上随客体比例变化而进行调控,具备良好的应用前景.

The sticking phenomenon during hot rolling of SUS 430 ferritic stainless steel was investigated by means of a two-disc type high-temperature wear tester. The test results indicate that sticking particles on the surfaces of high chromium steel （HiCr） and high-speed steel （HSS） rolls undergo nucleation, growth, and saturation stages. Grooves on the roll surface generated by grinding provide nucleation sites for sticking particles. The number of sticking particles on the HiCr roll surface is greater than that on the HSS roll surface. The average surface roughnesses （Ra） of HiCr and HSS rolls change from 0.502 and 0.493 μm at the initial stage to 0.837 and 0.530 μm at the saturation stage, respectively. The test further proves that the sticking behavior is strongly dependent on roll materials, and the HSS roll is more benefi- cial to prevent particles sticking compared with the HiCr roll under the same hot-rolling conditions.

The effects of UV intensity and turbidity on selected microbial indicator inactivation were investigated. Results showed that UV disinfection was effective in killing all the selected microbial indicators, the resistance order of the microorganisms was as follows： MS-2 coliphage 〉 Bacillus subtilis 〉 E. coil 〉 Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. UV intensity had influence on the inactivation of all the microorganisms, high UV disinfection efficency was obtained with higher UV intensity. Turbidity had impact on the bacteria inactivation rate, but there was no evidence that turbidity had any negative contribution to MS-2 coliphage. Under the same UV dosage, higher UV intensity could overcome the negative influence of turbidity on UV performance, enhanced microorganism inactivation effect in turbidity water.

We study the well-posedness and long-time behavior of solution to both defocusing and focusing nonlinear Schrodinger equations with scaling critical magnetic potentials in dimension two. In the defocusing case, and under the assumption that the initial data is radial, we prove interaction Morawetz-type inequalities and show the scattering holds in the energy space. The magnetic potential considered here is the Aharonov-Bohm potential which decays likely the Coulomb potential {x}-1.

This paper is devoted to the study of the proper setting of the boundary conditions for the boundary value problems of the hyperbolic-elliptic coupled systems of first order. The wellposedness of the corresponding boundary value problems is also established. The Lopatinski conditions for the boundary value problems of the elliptic systems is then extended to the case for hyperbolic-elliptic coupled systems. The result in this paper can be applied to the Euler system in fluid dynamics, especially to give wellposed boundary value problems describing subsonic flow.

Zr58.5Ti14.3Nb5.2Cu6.1Ni4.9Be11.0 bulk metallic glass matrix composites,containingβ-Zr dendrites,were fabricated by Bridgman solidification at the withdrawal velocity of 1.0 mm/s through a temperature gradient of～45 K/*** to the increasing compressive strain rates,the monotonic increasing and decreasing were obtained for the maximum strength and the fracture strain,*** results show that high strain rate may induce the insufficient time for the interaction between shear bands and the crystalline phase,and early fracture occurs as a *** fractographs are consistent with the mechanical properties,and the failure mode of the present Zr-based composites is in agreement with the frame of the ellipse criterion.

Background Neonatal asphyxia is a serious public health *** study aimed to determine the epidemiology and region-specific risk factors for low Apgar scores,an important proxy for neonatal asphyxia,in China from 2015 to *** The China Labor and Delivery Survey was a multicenter cross-sectional study including 96 hospitals distributed in 24(out of 34)*** regression analysis was performed to examine the risk factors for a low Apgar score(<7).Correspondence analyses were performed among neonates with low Apgar scores to explore the relationship between risk factors and geographical *** population attributable risk percentage(PAR%)was calculated for each region-specific risk *** A total of 72,073 live births,including 320 births with low Apgar scores,were used for the analysis,giving a weighted rate of 3.9/1000 live *** was a substantial difference in the incidence of low Apgar scores by geographic region,from 2.3/1000 live births in East China to 10.9/1000 live births in Northeast *** and obstetric factors are the major region-specific risk *** Southwest China,hypertensive disorders in pregnancy were more important contributors,with PAR% being 74.47%;in North and Northwest China,pre-pregnancy underweight was a more significant factor,with PAR% of 62.92%;in East China,infants born between 0:00 *** 7:59 *** a key factor,with PAR% of 80.44%.Conclusion Strategies based on region-specific risk factors should be considered to reduce the burden of low Apgar scores in China.
