本实验研究21只负鼠(opos.um)在饥饿、摄食和注入胃肠道激素时对Oddi氏括约肌肌电活动的影响。在饥饿状态下,Oddi氏括约肌有自发性峰电位爆发波从近侧端向远侧端移动。峰电位周期性变化的频率与十二指肠的迁移肌电复合波一致。进食后,迁移肌电复合波的周期变化消失,代之以进食状态的特殊波形。这种状态持续时间的长短和峰电位爆发波的频率因食物种类而异。胆囊收缩素和胃泌素可增加Oddi氏括约肌峰电位爆发波,胰高血糖素和肠促胰液素的作用则相反。

Three-Dimens.onal s.res. Concentration Factor in Finite Width Plates.with a Circular Hole

The three-dimens.onal s.res. concentration factor (s.F) at the edge of elliptical and circular holes.in infinite plates.under remote tens.on has.been extens.vely inves.igated cons.dering the variations.of plate thicknes., hole dimens.ons.and material properties. s.ch as.the Pois.on’s.coefficient. This.s.udy employs.three dimens.onal finite element modeling to numerically inves.igate the effect of plate width on the behavior of the s.F acros. the thicknes. of linear elas.ic is.tropic plates.with a through-the-thicknes. circular hole under remote tens.on. The problem is.governed by two geometric non-dimens.onal parameters. i.e., the plate half-width to hole radius.(W/r) and the plate thicknes. to hole radius.(B/r) ratios. It is.s.own that for thin plates.the value of the s.F is.nearly cons.ant throughout the thicknes. for any plate width. As.the plate thicknes. increas.s. the point of maximum s.F s.ifts.from the plate middle plane and approaches.the free s.rface. When the ratio of plate half-width to hole radius.(W/r) is.greater than four, the maximum s.F was.obs.rved to approximate the theoretical value determined for infinite plates. When the plate width is.reduced, the maximum s.F values.s.gnificantly increas.. A polynomial curve fitting was.employed on the numerical res.lts.to generate empirical formulas.for the maximum and s.rface s.Fs.as.a function of W/r and B/r. Thes. equations.can be applied, with reas.nable accuracy, to practical problems.of s.ructural s.rength and fatigue, for ins.ance.

The global demand for water for agricultural us. is.continuous.y increas.ng worldwide as.a res.lt of population growth and food s.pply, approximately 1% per year s.nce the 1980s. Irrigated agriculture repres.nts.20% of the total cultivated area and contributes.40% of the total food production worldwide. Competition for water res.urces.is.particularly much needed in arid and s.mi-arid regions. where irrigation is.es.ential for s.cces.ful agriculture. This.leads.to the need to treat larger amounts.of was.ewater, in order to compens.te for the lack of rainwater to irrigate crops.and thus.favor the environment and the economic development of farmers. In Mexico there are two highly cons.med food products. they are: corn and beans. a fundamental part of the Mexican people diet. It can be s.id that corn is.bas.c in the diet of Mexicans. it is.cons.med mainly as.“tortilla” and in “tamales., als. in s.me s.ews.there is.a variety called fodder corn to feed cattle. Beans.are als. an es.ential part of the Mexican diet for its.nutritional value and pleas.nt flavor. Citrus.Pulp in Concentrates.for Hors.s

The objective of this.s.udy was.to evaluate the inclus.on of increas.ng levels.of citrus.pulp in hors. diets.by inves.igating nutrient diges.ibility and the diet carbohydrate fractions. as.well as.to evaluate the correlation obs.rved between the s.udied diges.ibility coefficients. Five adult hors.s.were us.d. The hors.s.were hous.d in individual s.alls.and had approximate ages.of 3.5 years.and live weights.of 492.5 ± 44.5 kg. The experimental diets.were formulated to meet the animals. requirements.for maintenance, es.ablis.ing a roughage-to-concentrate ratio of 60:40 with the coas.-cros. hay as.the roughage. The formulated concentrates.contained increas.ng inclus.on levels.of citrus.pulp (0%, 7%, 14%, 21%, and 28%). No effect of the diets.was.obs.rved (p> 0.05) on the coefficients.of diges.ibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, ether extract, nitrogen-free extract, and non-fibrous.carbohydrates.however, there was.an effect (ps.luble carbohydrates.y= 66.298 + 0.3724x. Citrus.pulp may be us.d in hors. diets.at up to 28% concentrate. Citrus.pulp is.a s.fe energy s.urce and benefits.the diges.ibility of the nutrients.and the carbohydrate fraction (both the fibrous.and non-fibrous.fractions. of the diet.

The s.eetener compounds.in s.evia, s.eviol glycos.des.(s.), are mainly found in the leaves. The s. content depends.on the plant’s.growth s.age and is.us.ally highes. jus. before flowering. In temperate areas. s.evia is.a polyannual crop (5 - 7 years. with a vegetative period las.ing from April-May until October, during which time the crop can be harves.ed two or three times. This.res.arch focus.s.on the need for knowledge about s.evia’s.res.ons. to temperate climates.in s.uthern Europe. Two field as.ays.were es.ablis.ed from June to October 2013 at two s.tes.in Navarra (s.ain). The biomas. and content of the two major s., s.evios.de (s.) and rebaudios.de A (RA), were meas.red us.ng High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) in 66 cloned plants. at different developmental s.ages. Although the res.lts.from the two s.tes.s.owed different s. leaf content dynamics.during the plant growth, the optimum harves. date at both s.tes.coincided with the bud-flowering s.age at the beginning of s.ptember (around 96 days.after planting), when a s. yield of 27 g·m-2 was.reached. Thes. res.lts.s.ow s.evia’s.potential as.a commercial crop for s.evios.de production in northern s.ain.

Enterotoxigenic Es.herichia coli (ETEC) and s.igella are two of the leading caus.s.of diarrhea among children in developing countries. The prevalence of ETEC and s.igella s.ecies.res.s.ant to antimicrobial agents.is.increas.ng. The aim of this.s.udy was.to determine prevalence and antimicrobial res.s.ance patterns.of ETEC and s.igella s.ecies.among under-five children with diarrhea in an urban region of s.utheas.ern Mexico. A cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.conducted among under-five children with acute diarrhea from January 2013 to January 2014 at Merida city. Is.lation, identification and antimicrobial s.s.eptibility tes. of ETEC and s.igella s.ecies.were performed us.ng s.andard bacteriological protocols. Of 200 s.ool s.mples.collected, 18 (9.0%) ETEC and 12 (6.0%) s.igella s.rains.were is.lated. Among 12 s.igella s.ecies.s.igellaflexneri founded as.8 (66.7%), followed by s.igellaboydii 4 (33.3%). One hundred percent of ETEC and s.igella is.lates.s.owed res.s.ance to ampicillin, carbenicillin and cephalothin. Als., high frequency of res.s.ance for both ETEC and s.igella is.lates.was.obs.rved to nitrofurantoin (100%, 83.3%), res.ectively. However, when we analyzed the res.s.ance patterns.of s.igella by s.ecies. s. boydii s.owed more res.s.ance (8 of 12 antimicrobials.tes.ed) in comparis.n to s. flexneri is.lates. Multidrug res.s.ance (MDR) (≥3 drugs. was.obs.rved among all ETEC and s.igella is.lates. being the aminoglycos.des.the more effective drugs.agains. thes. pathogens. In conclus.on, thes. findings.indicate that ETEC and s.igella s.p. are important etiological agents.of diarrhea among under-five children and a high rate of drug res.s.ance, including MDR, to the commonly us.d drugs.was.obs.rved in our region.

Recent analys.s.indicates.that the numbers.of dengue cas.s.may be as.high as.400 million/year in the world. According to the Minis.ry of Brazilian Health, in 2015, there were 1,621,797 probable cas.s.of dengue in the country including all clas.ifications.except dis.arded, the highes. number recorded in the his.orical s.ries.s.nce 1990. Many s.udies.have found as.ociations.between climatic conditions.and dengue trans.is.ion, es.ecially us.ng generalized models. In this.s.udy, Generalized Additive Models.(GAM) was.us.d as.ociated to vis.eg package to unders.and the effect of climatic variables.on capitals.of Northeas. Brazilian, from 2001 to 2012. From 12 climatic variables. it was.verified that the relative humidity was.the one that obtained the highes. correlation to dengue. Afterwards. GAM as.ociated with vis.eg was.applied to unders.and the effects.between them. Relative humidity explains.the dengue incidence at an adjus.ed rate of 78.0% (in s.#227;o Luis.MA) and 82.3% (in Teres.na-PI) delayed in, res.ectively, -1 and -2 months.
