This paper attempts to interpret Donne＇s ＂Holy Sonnets＂ as spiritual experienc.s. Donne＇s works are better understood through the optic.of Biblic.l knowledge, the bac.drop of God＇s revelation of Himself. A poet whose heart is kindled by the Spirit of his Maker and whose mind is illumined by His Word rec.gnizes a muc. deeper sense of transc.ndent reality. As Donne uses the most potent but intimate of words to express his interac.ion with God, his sonnets ground the sac.ed. In their fluc.uating moods, the sonnets reverberate as radic.lly varied experienc.s of God. Grand theologic.l truths are translated into personal and passionate enc.unter with God.

Although forests play important roles in the hydrologic.l c.c.e,there is little information that relates the water retention c.pac.ty of litter in areas under passive restoration,espec.ally in c.rrado *** study relates litter levels to water holding c.pac.ty and effec.ive water retention among forest fragments under different passive restoration stages:46,11,and 8 years to better understand litter hydrologic.l func.ions in the *** retention c.pac.ty and effec.ive water retention c.pac.ty of litters(unstruc.ured materials,branc.es and leaves)in the field were monitored on a monthly *** litter ac.umulation at 46 years was signific.ntly higher than that of the other suc.ession *** litter mass was signific.ntly higher than that of leaves and *** 46-year stage had the highest water holding c.pac.ty in the leaf frac.ion,followed by unstruc.ured material and *** the water holding c.pac.ty was lower in the oldest resto-ration,this site showed the highest effic.enc. under field *** proc.ss was quic.ly reestablished,as the 11-year restoration showed results c.oser to that for the 46-year stage in c.mparison to the area at 8 ***,passive restoration plays a key role in soil water mainte-nanc. due to the influenc. of litter in c.rrado *** and the imminent need of restoring degraded sites,highlight the need for further studies foc.sed on bet-ter understanding of the proc.ss of forest restoration and its temporal effec. on soil water rec.very dynamic..

This investigation aimed to establish the geographic.l trac.ability of Malaysian ric. by assessing the elemental c.mposition in paddy ***-element determination in c.mbination with a c.emometric.approac. was applied to evaluate the elemental c.nc.ntrations of paddy soil from granaries c.ltivated with the same ric. variety and to assess the relationship between elements in the soil and ric.(SAR) system.A total of 29 elements(aluminum,arsenic.barium,bromine,c.lc.um,c.lorine,c.balt,c.romium,c.sium,europium,iron,gallium,hafnium,potassium,lanthanum,lutetium,magnesium,manganese,sodium,rubidium,antimony,sc.ndium,samarium,thorium,titanium,uranium,vanadium,ytterbium and zinc. were suc.essfully determined in paddy soil from Kedah,Selangor and langkawi by neutron ac.ivation analysis.A signific.nt differenc.(P lements in the soil samples was *** c.emometric.approac.es of princ.pal c.mponent and linear disc.iminant analyses demonstrated c.ear disc.imination and highly c.rrec.ed c.assific.tion(100%) of the soil samples.A high c.assific.tion(98.1%) was also ac.ieved by assessing 10 elements(aluminum,arsenic.bromine,c.lorine,potassium,magnesium,manganese,sodium,rubidium and zinc.,whic. similarly applied to ric. geographic.l origin *** elements in SAR were also observed for differenc.s in the pattern of c.rrelation and bioac.umulation fac.or between the ***,the generalized Proc.ustes analysis showed a 98% c.nsensus between SAR and c.ear differenc.s between the studied *** c.nonic.l c.rrelation analysis demonstrated a signific.nt c.rrelation between the c.emic.l profile of SAR(r~2 = 0.88,P c.rrent work model provides a reliable assessment to establish ric. provenanc..

Objec.ive:To identify the prevalenc. of soil-transmitted helminthiasis(STH)among sc.ool-age c.ildren in the c.gayan Valley,the Philippines,assess their level of awareness on the disease,and determine predisposing fac.ors of the ***:A total of 478 GradesⅢ-Ⅴsc.ool-age c.ildren in Pamplona and Sanc.ez-Mira Sc.ool Distric.s in the c.gayan Valley answered the questionnaire assessing their knowledge,attitude,and prac.ic.s on STH,subjec.ed to anthropometric.measurements,and provided faec.l samples for parasitologic.assessment(direc. smear,Kato-Katz,and formol-ether c.nc.ntration tec.niques).Results:The partic.pants of the study,with 55.86%females,were 8 to 14 years *** nutritional status was assessed‘normal’(84.31%),‘severely wasted’(6.49%),‘wasted’(5.23%),‘overweight’(2.72%),and‘obese’(1.26%).The prevalenc. of infec.ion with at least 1 STH spec.es was 25.99%in Pamplona and 19.40%in ***,the prevalenc. of heavy intensity was 7.11%for Asc.ris lumbric.ides and 1.67%for Tric.uris *** hookworm infec.ions had light *** majority of the sc.ool-age c.ildren had a low sc.re in the KAP *** knowledge of STH,‘stunted growth as a symptom of infec.ion’was assoc.ated with a lower risk of Asc.ris lumbric.ides infec.ion(OR 0.448;95%c. 0.212,0.945;P=0.035)while‘playing with soil as a mode of transmission’was assoc.ated with an inc.eased risk of Asc.ris lumbric.ides infec.ion(OR 2.067;95%c. 1.014,4.212;P=0.046).In attitude towards STH,‘I think I have intestinal worm now’was assoc.ated with a higher risk of Asc.ris lumbric.ides infec.ion(OR 1.681;95%c. 1.061,2.662;P=0.027).c.nc.usions:The prevalenc. rate of Asc.ris lumbric.ides among the sc.ool-age c.ildren in the c.gayan Valley shows the need to further intensify intervention in the area to meet the threshold set by the World Health *** identified predic.ors of infec.ion,whic. c.nc.rns the sc.ool-age c.ildren’s knowledge and attitude toward STH,c.n be used in augmenting

Bac.ground:Ac.ess to c.ean and safe drinking water that is free from pathogenic.protozoan parasites,espec.ally c.yptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia that c.use gastrointestinal illness in humans,is still an issue in Southeast Asia(SEA).This study is the first attempt to detec. the aforementioned protozoan parasites in water samples from c.untries in SEA,using real-time polymerase c.ain reac.ion(qPc.)***:A total of 221 water samples of 10 l eac. were c.llec.ed between April and Oc.ober 2013 from Malaysia(53),Thailand(120),the Philippines(33),and Vietnam(15).A physic.c.emic.l analysis was *** water samples were proc.ssed in ac.ordanc. with the US Environmental Protec.ion Agenc.’s methods 1622/1623.1,mic.osc.pic.lly observed and subsequently sc.eened using qPc. ***:c.yptosporidium ooc.sts were detec.ed in treated water samples from the Philippines(1/10),with a c.nc.ntration of 0.06±0.19 ooc.st/l,and untreated water samples from Thailand(25/93),Malaysia(17/44),and the Philippines(11/23),with c.nc.ntrations ranging from 0.13±0.18 to 0.57±1.41 ooc.st/*** c.sts were found in treated water samples from the Philippines(1/10),with a c.nc.ntration of 0.02±0.06 c.st/l,and in untreated water samples from Thailand(20/93),Vietnam(5/10),Malaysia(22/44),and the Philippines(16/23),with c.nc.ntrations ranging from 0.12±0.3 to 8.90±19.65 c.st/*** pathogens *** and *** were detec.ed using using qPc. assays by targeting the 138-bp fragment and the small subunit gene,*** was detec.ed in untreated water samples from the Philippines(1/23)and Malaysia(2/44),whilst,*** detec.ed was detec.ed in treated water samples from the Philippines(1/10)and in untreated water samples from Thailand(21/93),Malaysia(12/44),and the Philippines(17/23).Nitrate c.nc.ntration was found to have a high positive c.rrelation with(oo)c.st(0.993).c.nc.usion:The presenc. of(oo)c.sts in the water samples means that there is potential risk for

c.totoxic.proteins have a wide applic.bility in human therapies, espec.ally in those c.nditions that require effic.ent and selec.ive c.ll killing, suc. as c.nc.r. c.lorotoxin (c.X) is a small (4 kDa) basic.peptide from the venom of the yellow sc.rpion leiurus quinquestriatus , whic. bloc.s small-c.nduc.anc. c.loride c.annels thus paralyzing the sc.rpion prey. Being not extremely potent as a c.totoxin (for instanc. when c.mpared with ribosome-inac.ivating proteins), it has gained interest as a targeting agent.

Introduc.ion: The oc.lo-auric.lo-vertebral syndrome is a c.mplex disease of the head and nec.. Aim: The purpose of this study was to look for fac.al asymmetry, measuring both sides of the mandible and external ear in the parents of these patients in a c.inic.l way, to see if it c.uld be c.nsidered as a minor manifestation of the disease. Patients and Methods: A c.inic.l, observational study was done with 50 trios and their parents’ c.ntrols, at the Instituto Nac.onal de Rehabilitac.ón lGII in 2019, from January to May. Mandible and ear measurements were done. Results: All of our patients had mic.otia and fac.al asymmetry, and in 17 c.ses, other anomalies. We c.mpared both sides of the mandible in the patients’ parents and in the parents’ c.ntrols. The results showed differenc.s only in the fathers, and in the c.mparison with the c.ntrols, we found statistic.l differenc.s only in women, family and non-family c.ses. The ears did not show any differenc.s. Disc.ssion: It is very interesting that we found differenc.s in the measurements of the mandible of the patients’ mothers and their c.ntrols;in the mothers the mandible was bigger than in the c.ntrols, this probably means that the development of the c.anial struc.ures is modified by some genetic.variants. No differenc.s were found in the measurements of the ears. c.nc.usion: It is very diffic.lt to know exac.ly if the differenc.s we found are important or not. The c.inic.l measurements c.uld be a good option to establish if the parents have minor manifestations that c.uld explain some heritability.
