The viscous dissipation and heat transfer in the Darcy-Forchheimer flow by a rotating disk are examined. The partial slip conditions are invoked. The optimal series solutions are computed via the optimal homotopic analysis method(OHAM). The thermophoresis and Brownian motions are studied. The Darcy-Forchheimer relation characterizes the porous space. The roles of influential variables on the physical quantities are graphically examined. A reduction in the local Nusselt number is observed through thermophoresis and thermal slip parameters. The local Sherwood number depicts an increasing trend for the higher Brownian motion and concentration slip parameters.

The effect of Al and Cd on the growth, photosynthesis, and accumulation of Al, Cd and plant nutrients in two soybean genotypes were determined using hydroponic culture. There were six treatments: pH 6.5; pH 4.0; pH 6.5+1.0 μmol/L Cd; pH 4.0+1.0 μmol/L Cd; pH 4.0+150 μmol/L Al; pH 4.0+1.0 μmol/L Cd+150 μmol/L Al. The low pH (4.0) and Al treatments caused marked reduction in root length, shoot height, dry weight, chlorophyll content (SPAD value) and photosynthetic rate. Al-sensitive cv. Zhechun 2 accumulated comparatively more Al and Cd in plants than Al-tolerant cv. Liao 1. Compared with pH 6.5, pH 4.0 resulted in significant increase in Cd and Al concentration in plants. Combined application of Cd and Al enhanced their accu-mulation in roots, but caused a reduction in shoots. The concentrations of all 10 nutrients (P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn and B), except Mo were also increased when plants were exposed to pH lower than pH 6.5. Al addition caused a reduction in the con-centration of most nutrients in plant roots and shoots; but K, Mn and Zn in roots were increased. Treatments with Cd alone or together with Al reduced the concentrations of all the plant nutrients in plants. Al-sensitive genotype Zhechun 2 has lower nutrient concentration than Al-tolerant genotype Liao 1. The current findings imply that Al and Cd are synergistic in their effect on plant growth, physiological traits and nutrient uptake.

In recent years,voltage stability issues have become a serious concern with regard to the safety of electrical systems,these issues are more evident and have wider consequences in vertical networks with an insufficient reactive power *** is currently suffering from the worst energy crisis in its *** to an increase in energy demand,the current transmission system is becoming increasingly *** has thus become necessary to reduce losses and enhance the system voltage profile for more efficient energy *** this study,the main emphasis is on assessing the feasibility of using flexible AC transmission system devices and distributed generation to compensate power failures on the power lines of the Pakistani power transmission *** load flow and contingency analyses are performed on a 132 kV transmission system that feeds power to the Quetta electric supply *** region of Baluchistan is studied to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed *** system is simulated using NEPLAN,which accurately models the details of all system elements and the optimal power *** simulation results indicate that the proposed method helps reduce system losses,voltage deviation,and power flow congestion,with all system constraints within permissible limits.

The efficiency of perovskite solar cells（PSCs） has increased from around 4% to over 22% following a few years of intensive investigation. For most PSCs, organic materials such as 2,2＇,7,7＇-tetrakis（N,Npdimethoxyphenylamino）-9,9＇-spirobifluorene（spiro-OMeTAD） are used as the hole transporting materials（HTMs）, which are thermally and chemically unstable and also expensive. Here, we explored nickel phthalocyanine（NiPc） as a stable and cost-effective HTM to replace the conventionally used spiroOMeTAD. Because of its high carrier mobility and proper band alignments, we achieved a PCE of 12.1% on NiPc based planar device with short-circuit current density（Jsc） of 17.64 mAcm（-2）, open circuit voltage（Voc） of 0.94 V, and fill factor（FF） of 73%, outperforming the planar device based on copper phthalocyanine（CuPc） that is an outstanding representative of metal phthalocyanines（MPcs） reported. Moreover,the device with NiPc shows much improved stability compared to that based on the conventional spiroOMeTAD as a result of NiPc＇s high stability. Photoluminescence（PL） and Impedance spectroscopy analysis results show that thermally deposited NiPc has good hole-extraction ability. Our results suggest that NiPc is a promising HTM for the large area, low cost and stable PSCs.
