Three lanthanide ions and a rigid(1,1'-biphenyl)-2,4,6-tricarboxylic acid(H_(3)bptc) ligand led to the isostructural lanthanide metal-organic frameworks(Ln-MOFs) {[Ln(bptc)(H_(2)O)_(3)]·3H_(2)O}_n(Lnbptc, Ln = Eu,Tb, Gd, Eu_(x)Tb_(1—x), Eu_(x)Gd_(1-x), Tb_(x)Gd_(1-x), and Eu_(0.12)Tb_(0.52)Gd_(0.36)). The density functional theory(DFT) and time-dependent DFT calculation were expanded on H_3bptc, which point to the occurr.nce of “antenna effect”. The minor diameter samples of Eubptc, Tbbptc, and Gdbptc can also be attained via the microwave synthesis and employed for handwriting anticounterfeiting. Interestingly, the typical red emission of Eu^(3+) and green emission of Tb~(3+) could be fine-tuned by Gd^(3+) via chemical mixing to be full-color emissions bimetallic doped Eu_(x)Tb_(1-x)bptc, Eu_(x)Gd_(1-x)bptc, and Tb_(x)Gd_(1-x)bptc. The above synthetic bimetallic MOFs can be fixed in positioning boxes of quick response(Qr) codes with diverse emission for anticounterfeiting. The message can be decoded under the irradiation of 365 nm ultraviolet lamp while invisible in the daylight. notably, the trimetallic doped Eu_(0.12)Tb_(0.52)Gd_(0.36)bptc emits white light with the CIE color coordinate(0.34, 0.34). Furthermore, Tbbptc is demonstrated to be a sensitive probe toward nitrobenzene and acetone with multiple mechanisms.

Subgrade frost heave in seasonally frozen ground can greatly influence the safety and smooth r.nning of high-speed trains and the service performance of track *** this study,we used a static model to:(1)investigate track-subgrade frost heave and develop a dynamic model of vehicle-track-subgrade frost heave;(2)explore the tr.nsfer relation between subgrade frost heave and track structure deformation;(3)examine the characteristics of interlayer debonding;(4)study the influence of subgrade frost heave on the dynamic response of vehicles in high-speed railways in seasonally frozen regions.A Fourier series was used to fit the frost heave waveform and simulate the behavior of subgrade uneven frost heave using data collected *** results show:(i)The position of frost heave significantly affects the tr.nsfer of deformation to a slab *** largest deformation of the track slab,with the amplitude tr.nsfer ratio reaching 20%,was recorded when the frost heave occurred near the joint of the base plate.(ii)At the same frost heave amplitude,long-wave frost heave causes smaller deformation and debonding of the track structure than short-wave frost *** the wavelength r.nge of 10-30 m,the main frequency of the acceleration spectral density was concentrated between 3.5 and 3.7 Hz,with larger frost heave wavelengths producing smaller superposition on the vertical acceleration of the vehicle.(ii)The maximum wheel-rail force occurs when the fr.nt bogie passes the frost heave peak,with greater frost heave amplitudes producing greater wheel-rail *** these results,we conclude there is a clear.need to control the frost heave deformation of the track to reduce the dynamic response of the vehicle and in turn improve train operatSubgrade frost heave in seasonally frozen ground can greatly influence the safety and smooth r.nning of high-speed trains and the service performance of track *** this study,we used a static model to:(1)investigate track`-subgr

Large Seebeck coefficients induced by high degeneracy of conduction band minimum,and low intr.nsic lattice thermal conductivity originated from large lattice vibrational anharmonicity r.nder Mg_(3)Sb_(2)as a promising n-type thermoelectric ***,we demonstrated unique concentration-dependent occupation behaviors of Cu in Mg_(3.4)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.49)Te_(0.01)matrix,evidenced by structural characterization and tr.nsport property *** is found that Cu atoms prefer to enter the interstitial lattice sites in Mg_(3)Sb_(2)host with low doping level(Mg_(3.4)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.49)Te_(0.01)+x%Cu,xng as donors for providing additional electr.ns without deteriorating the carrier *** x is larger than 0.3%,the excessive Cu atoms are inclined to substitute Mg atoms,yielding acceptors to decrease the electr.n *** a result,the electrical conductivity of the Mg_(3.4)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.49)Te_(0.01)+0.3%Cu sample reaches 2.3×10^(4)S/m at 300 K,increasing by 300%compared with that of the pristine *** figure of merit zT values in the whole measured temperature r.nge are significantly improved by the synergetic improvement of power factor and reduction of thermal *** average zT∼1.07 from 323 K to 773 K has been achieved for the Mg_(3.4)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.49)Te_(0.01)+0.3%Cu sample,which is about 30%higher than that of the Mg_(3.4)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.49)Te_(0.01) sample.

Methane(CH_(4))is a potent greenhouse gas that has a substantial impact on global warming due to its substantial influence on the greenhouse *** extreme precipitation events,such as drought,attributable to global warming that caused by greenhouse gases,exert a profound impact on the intricate biological processes associated with CH_(4) ***,the timing of extreme drought occurr.nce emerges as a pivotal factor influencing CH_(4) uptake,even when the degree of drought remains ***,it is still unclear how the growing season regulates the response of CH_(4) uptake to extreme *** an effort to bridge this knowledge gap,we conducted a field manipulative experiment to evaluate the impact of extreme drought on CH_(4) uptake dur.ng early,middle,and late growing stages in a temperate steppe of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region,*** result showed that all extreme drought consistently exerted positive effects on CH_(4) uptake regardless of seasonal ***,the magnitude of this effect varied depending on the timing of season,as evidenced by a str.nger effect in early growing stage than in middle and late growing ***,the pathways of CH_(4) uptake were differ.nt from seasonal *** drought affected soil physical-chemical properties and aboveground biomass(AGB),consequently leading to changes in CH_(4) *** structural equation model showed that drought both in the early and middle growing stages enhanced CH_(4) uptake due to reduced soil water content(SWC),leading to a decrease in nO_(3)–-n and an increase in pmoA ***,drought in late growing stage primarily enhanced CH_(4) uptake only by decreasing *** results suggested that seasonal timing significantly contributed to regulate the impacts of extreme drought pathways and magnitudes on CH_(4) *** findings can provide substantial implications for understanding how extreme droughts affect CH_(4) uptake and improve the prediction of

Calix[n]ar.nes was utilized to detect PABA,the primary sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of calix[4]ar.ne(C4),calix[6]ar.ne(C6),and PABA using the Langmuir method and first-pr.nciple density functional theory(DFT).Using the Langmuir-Schaefer(LS)technique,an ultrathin film composed of calix[n]ar.nes and their complexes with PABA was deposited on various *** on the Langmuir study,the PABA molecule was bonded to the lower rims of both C4 and C6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the LS films formed were then characterized by ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-tr.nsform infrared spectroscopy(FTIr)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulfur elemental analyzer(CHnS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge tr.nsfer interaction with promising reactivity between the calix[n]ar.nes and *** sensing of PABA by C4 and C6 is successful based on the formation of bonding between them due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcomes of this study could be applied to drug delivery systems for future pharmaceutical and medical applications.

Polyelectrolyte complexes(PECs)of hyperbr.nched(HB)and linear polysaccharides are promising as more effective encapsulation agents compared to PECs formed by linear *** investigated the PECs between the HB anionic polysaccharide fucoidan(FUC)and the cationic linear polysaccharide chitosan(CS).The FUC had a molecular weight(MW)of 30×*** PECs were prepared in three solvents(water,0.01 and 0.1 mol/L acetic acid)with CS of MW of 15,110 and 170 kDa,and deacetylation degrees(DDA)of 70%and 97%.The structures of the PECs and the initial FUC were investigated by multi-angle static and dynamic light *** the FUC contained 18 wt%of—OSO3 groups and 5 wt%of ur.nic acid units,it was a“str.ng-weak”copolyanion,so the HB macromolecules of the FUC formed nanogel particles in 0.1 mol/L AcOH and open br.nched structures in water,as confirmed by the Kratky *** mixing the solutions of original components,the PEC structures underwent an equilibration period,the duration of which increased with the MW of *** the charge stoichiometry was approached,the PECs shr.nk;the fractal dimension approached unity,indicating the side-by-side packing of adjacent FUC br.nches with the help of *** aggregation in the vicinity of the charge compensation was hardly observed,as it occurred in a very narrow *** PEC content at theζ-potential inversion depended on solvents’pH and the DDA of *** the extreme case of core-shell PECs in 0.1 mol/L AcOH,obtained by mixing FUC nanogels with the solutions of high MW CS of 97%DDA,the protruding tails of CS formed a positively charged shell in the whole r.nge of FUC content(10 wt%nning electr.n microscopy and atomic force microscopy images of dried samples were discussed in relation to the light scatter.ng results.
