Chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR T)cell therapy has demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of haematologic ***,the accompanying adverse events,the most common of which is cytokine release syndrome(CRS),substantially limit its wide *** to its unique physiological characteristics,CRS in CAR T-cell treatment for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(BNHL)may exhibit some special *** existing guidelines had greatly promoted the recognition and management of CRS,many recommendations are not fully applicable to ***,it is imperative to identify responses that are specific to CRS observed following CAR T treatment for *** on underlying biological processes and known pathophysiological mechanisms,we tentatively propose a new model to illustrate the occurrence and evolution of CAR T-cell-therapy-related CRS in *** this model,tumour burden and bone marrow suppression are considered determinants of *** phenomena after CAR T-cell infusion(such as local inflammatory response)are further *** proposed model will help us better understand the basic biology of CRS and recognize and manage it more rationally.

Influence of SiC Nanoparticles Reinforcement in Areca/Tamarind Hybrid Biopolymer Composites:Thermo-mechanical,Tribological and Morphological Features

Natural fibers are displacing synthetic fibers as reinforcement in polymer composites due to their ease of processing,low cost,wide availability,biodegradability and *** this study,industrially discarded agro-waste areca fruit husk and tamarind fruit fibers were processed and used as reinforcement with unsaturated polyester resin to create a hybrid composite containing SiC nano filler *** SiC nano filler particles were varied from 1 to 4 wt.%in incremental steps of 1 wt.%with a constant 40 wt.%fiber reinforcement to determine its impact on the thermo-mechanical,morphological,wear and hygro-aging properties of the developed hybrid ***,the composite made of 3 wt.%SiC nano filler particles exposed overall better properties with better tensile(9.137 MPa),flexural(104.056 MPa),impact(7.983 j/cm^(2)),hardness(91.577 HRRW),wear(2.2×10^(-6)µm),crystallite size(7.9 nm)and thermal stability(360℃).Further advancement in weight percent of filler material,has worsened the properties due to poor dispersion and agglomeration factors by reducing the tensile,flexural,impact and hardness characteristics by 4.6%,6.4%,4.5%and 2.18%***,the microstructural investigation revealed the failure pattern,information on interfacial adhesion between the reinforcement,filler and matrix of the hybrid *** addition,the crystalline characteristics and availability of functional groups in hybrid polymer composite with 3 wt.%SiC nano filler particles were disclosed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR)spectrum analysis,*** above findings reflects that the produced hybrid polymer composites suits well for interiors of automobiles and maritime interior applications to support loads with in the specified range.

Superior growth performance in broiler chicks fed chelated compared to inorganic zinc in presence of elevated dietary copper

Background： The goal of this study was to compare the antagonism of elevated dietary Cu （250 mg/kg） from CuS04 on three different Zn sources （ZnS04. H20; [Zn bis（-2-hydroxy-4-（methylthio）butanoic acid）], Zn（HMTBa）2 a chelated Zn methionine hydroxy analogue; and Zn-Methionine）, as measured using multiple indices of animal performance in ROSS 308 broilers. Methods： Three experiments were conducted in broiler chicks fed a semi-purified diet. All birds were fed a Zn-deficient diet （8.5 mg/kg diet） for 1 wk, and then provided with the experimental diets for 2 wks. Results： Experiment 1 was a 2 x 2 factorial design with two levels of Cu （8 vs. 250 mg/kg diet from CuSO4） and two Zn sources at 30 mg/kg [ZnSO4. H20 vs. Zn（HMTBa）2]. Elevated Cu impaired growth performance only in birds fed ZnSO4. Compared to ZnSO4. H20, Zn（HMTBa）2 improved feed intake （12 %; P 〈 0.001） and weight gain （12 %, P 〈 0.001） and the benefits were more pronounced in the presence of 250 mg/kg diet Cu. Experiment 2 was a dose titration of ZnSO4- H20 and Zn（HMTBa）2 at 30, 4,5, 60, and 75 mg/kg diet in the presence of 250 mg/kg CuSO4. Feed：gain was decreased and tibia Zn was increased with increasing Zn levels from 30 to 75 mg/kg. Birds fed Zn（HMTBa）2 consumed more food and gained more weight compared to birds fed ZnSO4, especially at lower supplementation levels （30 and 45 mg/kg; interaction P 〈 0,05）. Experiment 3 compared two organic Zn sources （Zn（HMTBa）2 vs. Zn-Methionine） at 30 mg/kg with or without 250 mg/kg CuSO4. No interactions were observed between Zn sources and Cu levels on performance or tissue mineral concentrations. High dietary Cu decreased weight gain （P 〈 0.01）. Tibia Cu and liver Cu were significantly increased with 250 mg/kg dietary Cu supplementation （P 〈 0.01）. No difference was observed between the two Zn sources. Conclusions： Dietary 250 mg/kg Cu significantly impaired feed intake and weight gain in birds fed ZnSO4. H20, but had less impact in birds fed Zn（HMTBa）2. No difference

Neurological complications associated with HIV-1/AIDS are being recognized with a high frequency that parallels the increased number of AIDS cases. The early infiltration by HIV-1 into the nervous system can cause primary and/or secondary neurological complications. The most common neurocognitive disorder is AIDS Dementia Complex (ADC). In developing countries of Asia the three most opportunistic infections are tuberculosis (TB), cryptococcosis, and Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. Therefore, it is expected that secondary neurological complications due to TB and cryptococcosis will be the most common cause of morbility and mortality in HIV-1/AIDS cases in China. Research of NeuroAIDS in China is necessary to understand the impact and the biology of HIV-1 in the nervous system. Future studies would include, the molecular epidemiology and the description of opportunistic infections associated to HIV-1; the neuropathological description of primary and secondary HIV-1 complications in different groups; the HIV-1 neurot- ropism and immune response studies for China’s unique HIV-1 strains and recombinant forms derived from the nervous system, including experimental models such as the use of transgenic rats; and the study of potential resistant virus, primarily when the anti-retroviral therapy (ART) has not full access in the brain.

Estimation of Extreme Flows in Nkana River to Verify the Adequacy of Naming’ongo Bridge Waterway

The response by the government of Tanzania to food security and poverty alleviation in the Naming’ongo area in Mbozi District has been to develop Naming’ongo irrigation scheme as well as construct a bridge across River Nkana to connect the farms and other parts of the district to facilitate a reliable transportation of the produce to the market. The Australian Water Balance Model that was calibrated by using 10 years data from a nearby sub-catchment of Mbarali. The Naming’ongo Sub-catchment was delineated form a 30 m digital elevation model. The observed rainfall was obtained from Mbozi Meteorological station. The study approximated the peak flows in River Nkana for a return period of 50 years to be slightly above 560 m3/s. This was considered to be adequate for the proposed structure. The study recommends that when undertaking human activities such as deforestation and cultivation an account for soil and environmental conservation should be considered. While it is necessary to establish a monitoring system within the catchment, the designs of future hydraulic structures should incorporate stream flow measuring facilities.

AIM： To investigate the correlation between tissue ST6Gal I and serum msAFP in HCC patients, and to investigate their prognostic significance. METHODS： Preoperative sera, paired tumorous and non-tumorous tissues were collected from 19 consecutive patients who had undergone surgical resection of HCC. ST6Gal I activities in the tissues were measured by an in vitro microsomal enzyme activity assay. The percentages of tumor-specific msAFP in the sera were also estimated by an isoelectric focusing-immunoblotting assay. RESULTS： The tumor ST6Gal I activity was negatively correlated with serum msAFP percentage （r = -0.53, P = 0.019）. Both decreased tumor ST6Gal I activity and increased serum msAFP percentage were associated with poor tumor cell differentiation. Univariate analyses showed that both decreased tumor ST6Gal I activity （P = 0.028）, increased serum msAFP percentage （P = 0.034） and poor tumor cell differentiation （P = 0.031）were associated with shorter overall survival. Multivariate analysis using the Cox regression model showed that the preoperative serum msAFP percentage （P = 0.022） and tumor cell differentiation status （P = 0.048） were independent prognostic indicators for patient overall survival. CONCLUSION： Our results indicate that the presence of msAFP in blood circulation is associated with a decreased activity of ST6Gal I activity in HCC. Both tissue ST6Gal I and serum msAFP are potential prognostic markers for patients with operable HCC.
