As the most abundant living entities in the envir.nment, vir.ses have been well r.cognized as cr.cial member. in sustaining biogeochemical cycling. However. the significance of vir.ses in soil ecosystem multifunctionality r.mains under.explor.d. In this study, we used metagenomics and meta-vir.mics analysis to investigate the r.le of soil vir.ses in soil ecosystem functions under.heavy, light, and no or.anochlor.ne pesticides(OCPs) contamination. In the thr.e types of soil samples collected, lightcontaminated soils suppor.ed the highest level of multifunctionality, followed by heavy-contaminated soils and clean ***, our.r.sults r.vealed a positive cor.elation between bacter.al community evenness and multifunctionality index(p bacter.al species with biodegr.dation and str.ss r.sistance advantages exhibited higher.abundance in OCPaffected soils, potentially playing a cor. functional suppor.ing r.le. Fur.her.or., our.r.sults indicated that the species r.chness and diver.ity of bacter.ophages wer. positively cor.elated with multifunctionality(p bacter.ophages in OCP-affected soils r.gulate host metabolism and enhance soil ecosystem multifunctionality by infecting functional bacter.al hosts and encoding AMGs r.lated to soil element cycling. Our.findings emphasize the potential effect of phages on ecosystem multifunctionality in contaminated soil, suggesting that phages may ser.e as contr.butor. to soil ecology beyond bacter.a and other.micr.or.anisms. Ther.for., in polluted or.constr.ined soils, fur.her.r.sear.h could potentially tr.nslate phage communities and r.lated ecological pr.cesses into ar.ificial methods for.application in soil pollution r.mediation or.ecological r.stor.tion.

How pointed? The idea could be a mathematical device or.physical simplification. by contr.st, the pr.ceding notion of wave-gr.up duality has two velocities: a gr.up velocity vg and a phase velocity vp. In light vp = vg = c;but it follows fr.m special r.lativity that, in massive par.icles, vp > c. The phase velocity is the pr.duct of the two best measur.d var.ables, and so their.pr.duct constitutes inter.al motion that tr.vels, ver.fiably, faster.than light. How does vp then appear.in Minkowski space? For.light, the spatio-tempor.l Lor.ntz invar.ant metr.c is s2=c2t2−x2−y2−z2, the same in whatever.fr.me it is viewed.
