Global software Development （GsD） is a well established field of software engineering with the benefits of a global environment. software Project Management （sPM） plays a key role in the success of GsD. As a result, the need has arisen to study and evaluate the downsides of sPM for GsD, to thereby pave the way for the development of new methods, techniques, and tools with which to tackle them. This paper aims to identify and classify research on sPM approaches for GsD that are available in the literature, to identify their current weaknesses and strengths, and to analyze their applications in industry. We performed a systematic Mapping study （sMs） based on six classification criteria. Eighty-four papers were selected and analyzed. The results indicate that interest in sPM for GsD has been increasing since 2006. As a class of approaches, the most frequently reported methods （40%） are those used for coordination, planning, and monitoring, along with estimation techniques that can be used to better match a distributed project. sPM for GsD requires further investigation by researchers and practitioners, particularly with respect to cost and time estimations. These findings will help overcome the challenges that must to be considered in future sPM research for GsD, especially regarding collaboration and time-zone differences.

Background:Electrocution and collisions on power lines are among the leading causes of non-natural mortality for *** lines are exponentially increasing,particularly in developing countries,but mitigation strategies to prevent bird mortality are *** combines a recently increased power line network,an abundant raptor population,a dangerous crossarm configuration and a habitat with no natural perches,producing many bird-power line *** aim is to assess the bird mortality caused by power lines in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia,to determine the factors increasing the risk of bird electrocution,and to evaluate the effectiveness of used retrofitting ***:In July 2019 we covered 132.9 km of 15 kV power lines checking 1092 *** also conducted bird tran-sects to record raptor and corvid richness and abundance,to assess species vulnerability to ***:We recorded 76 electrocuted birds of 7 *** rate was 6.96 birds/100 *** most affected species were Common Raven(Corvus corax)and Upland Buzzard(Buteo hemilasius),highlighting the electro-cution of 5 endangered saker Falcons(Falco cherrug).By contrast,we only recorded 8 individuals of 5 species collid-ing with wires,the most affected being Pallas’s sandgrouse(syrrhaptes paradoxus).About 76.1%of sampled poles had some mitigation *** these,96.6%were brush perch deflectors and 3.4%rotating-mirrors perch *** found differences in electrocution rates among crossarm configurations,with the strain insulator with one jumper being the most ***,we found no correlation between bird abundance and electrocution rates,suggesting that some species are more sensitive to *** no differences in total bird electrocu-tion rates were detected between poles with and without perch deterrents,when bird size is considered,deterrents reduced the mortality rate of small birds,while they were ineffective for medium-sized

Recent research has challenged the idea that cervid antlers are such costly traits,supporting the assertion early-life antler investment is an honest signal of adult phenotypic ***,inferences were made based on antler measurements while growing(velvet)and thus,studies on fully-formed clean antlers are needed to avoid possible bias caused by the inter-individual variation in antler growth *** studied a semi-captive population of European roe deer inhabiting a sub-Mediterranean area(Valsemana research station)and living under optimal conditions(ad libitum food supply and veterinary care).Based on repeated measurements taken from 146 individuals,we assessed whether allocation to secondary sexual traits during early life affected body mass or antler development during ***,we evaluated which body measurements better predicted future male ***,using 488 individuals,we described age-class-specific variation in male body measurements and assessed the decline in antler size between adult and senescent stages(*** of senescence).Results agree with the assertion that there is no negative effect of a high investment in antler during early life on adult antler size or body mass,but we suggest the use of clean antlers as a more robust and reliable *** variables that better predicted body mass during adulthood were yearling body mass and body size at 6 *** score between 10 and 18 months resulted in the best indicator of adult antler ***,we support the idea that the magnitude of senescence in antler size is smaller in environments with higher resource availability during winter.

Adsorption of cobalt by using inorganic components of sediment samples from water bodies

The adsorption of cobalt ions was evaluated using sediment samples from water bodies to investigate the adsorption properties of sediment and the behavior of these natural materials in the presence of nuclear and industrial waste. The two sediments(s1 and s2) were treated to eliminate humic and fulvic acids and then they were characterized by several techniques. The minerals found in both the sediments(X-ray diffraction) were quartz and albite; plus, goethite and muscovite in s1, and kaolinite and montmorillonite in s2. Point of zero charge(PZC) of s1 and s2 was 6.00 and 5.22, respectively. The specific area of s1(63.3 m2/g) is higher than s2(1.5 m2/g). Adsorption kinetics data for s1 and s2 were best fitted to the pseudo second-order model. The removal efficiency of s1 for cobalt was 96% with an adsorption capacity(qe) of 0.93 mg/g, and for s2 was 45% with a qeof 0.40 mg/g. The experimental data of the adsorption isotherms were adjusted to Langmuir and Freundlich models for s1 and s2, respectively. The thermodynamic parameters(enthalpy, entropy, and Gibb’s free energy) indicated that the adsorption processes were endothermic, spontaneous, and chemisorption mechanism. The results show that the adsorption capacities of the sediments depend on their composition. These water sediments have important adsorption properties for cobalt, and they can be used in the treatment of nuclear and industrial aqueous wastes.

Intracerebral hemorrhage （ICH） is the most severe cerebrovascular disease, which represents a leading cause of death and disability in developed countries. However, therapeutic options are limited, so is mandatory to investigate repairing processes after stroke in order to develop new therapeutic strategies able to promote brain repair processes. Therapeutic angiogenesis and vasculogenesis hold promise to improve outcome of ICH patients. In this regard, circulating endothelial progenitor cells （EPCs） have recently been suggested to be a marker of vascular risk and endothelial function. Moreover, EPC levels have been associated with good neurological and functional outcome as well as reduced residual hematoma volume in ICH patients. Finally, experimental and clinical studies indicate that EPC might mediate endothelial cell regeneration and neovascularization. Therefore, EPC-based therapy could be an excellent therapeutic option in ICH. In this mini-review, we discuss the present status of knowledge about the possible therapeutic role of EPCs in ICH, molecular mechanisms, and the future perspectives and strategies for their use in clinical practice.
