Interleukin-10(IL-10)is the most potent anti-inflammatory cytokine in the body and plays an essential role in determining outcomes of many inflammatory *** metabolism is a critical determinant of immune cell function;however,it is currently unclear whether metabolic processes are specifically involved in IL-10 *** this study,we aimed to find the central metabolic molecule regulating IL-10 production of macrophages,which are the main producers of *** analysis identified that metabolic changes were predominantly enriched in Kupffer cells at the early inflammatory phase of a mouse endotoxemia *** them,pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase(PDK)-dependent acute glycolysis was negatively involved in IL-10 *** or knockdown of PDK selectively increased macrophage IL-10 ***,PDK inhibition increased IL-10 production via profound phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase alpha 1(AMPKα1)by restricting glucose uptake in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated ***α1 consequently activated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase,c-Jun N-terminal kinase,and cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein to regulate IL-10 *** study uncovers a previously unknown regulatory mechanism of IL-10 in activated macrophages involving an immunometabolic function of PDK.

Upcycling plastic wastes into value-added products via electrocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis

Tourmalines from various deposits have been studied by UV- Vis and X- ray *** a cyclosilicates mineral,tourmaline has a very complex chemical composition with various *** general formula is XYZ(BO)SiO(W)*** crystal field theory was used to examine for confirming tourmaline ***- rich tourmalines from Zambia showed yellow *** was attributed to the Mn-Ti IVCT(intervalence charge transfer) and Ohole trap ***- Ti IVCT showed the absorption band at 320 nm and O hole trap center had the absorption band at 365 *** tourmaline from Madagascar contained a lot of Fe and *** ion was responsible for light pink color due to the d5 *** the dark pink tourmaline was colored by Mn ions because the d4 configuration of the Mn had the spin-allowed ’d- d’*** absorption band occurred at 530 *** green color resulted from Fe ion due to splitting of 3 d ’d- d’*** the other hand,Cu ion was responsible for the blue,which had the 3d configurations and showed the absorption bands in the neighborhood of 700 nm and 900 ***,Cu- bearing tourmaline(Paraiba- type) from Mozambique showed greenish blue or bluish green.

In this paper,we study tidal forces in the Schwarzschild black hole,whose metric explicitly includes a generalized uncertainty principle(GUP)*** also investigate interesting features of the geodesic equations and tidal effects that are dependent on the GUP parameterαrelated to a minimum ***,by solving the geodesic deviation equations explicitly with appropriate boundary conditions,we show thatαin the effective metric affects both the radial and angular components of the geodesic equation,particularly near the singularities.

This review highlights the importance of recovering valuable metals from spent Li-ion battery(LIB)cathodes through the resynthesis of cathode active materials(CAMs).The resynthesis process of CAMs,a promising recycling method that directly produces CAM precursors from LIB leachate,is *** process encompasses six key steps,including pretreatment,leaching,purification,adjustment of metal concentrations,precursor synthesis,and *** review also investigates the potential introduction of impurity elements during CAM resynthesis and provides tolerance levels for these impurities based on thorough reference ***,it addresses challenges related to the commercialization of the resynthesis ***,this review represents the first comprehensive assessment of CAM resynthesis,including the systematic evaluation of 12 impurity elements(Fe,Li,Al,Cu,C,P,F,Na,Cl,S,Mg,and Zn).Overall,this comprehensive review is poised to support the commercial development of resynthesized CAMs by offering valuable guidelines for managing impurities and streamlining the purification process.

The application of Li metal anodes in rechargeable batteries is impeded by safety issues arising from the severe volume changes and formation of dendritic Li ***‐dimensional hollow carbon is receiving increasing attention as a host material capable of accommodating Li metal inside its cavity;however,uncontrollable and nonuniform deposition of Li remains a *** this study,we synthesize metal–organic framework‐derived carbon microcapsules with heteroatom clusters(Zn and Ag)on the capsule walls and it is demonstrated that Ag‐assisted nucleation of Li metal alters the outward‐to‐inward growth in the microcapsule ***‐incorporated microcapsules are prepared via chemical etching of zeolitic imidazole framework‐8 polyhedra and are subsequently decorated with Ag by a galvanic displacement reaction between Ag^(+)and metallic *** introduced Ag significantly reduces the energy barrier and increases the reaction rate for Li nucleation in the microcapsule host upon Li *** combined electrochemical,microstructural,and computational studies,we verify the beneficial role of Ag‐assisted Li nucleation in facilitating inward growth inside the cavity of the microcapsule host and,in turn,enhancing electrochemical *** study provides new insights into the design of reversible host materials for practical Li metal batteries.

This study investigates the effect of characteristics and distribution of Mg_(17)Al_(12)precipitates on the uniaxial tensile and three-point bending properties of extruded Mg alloys containing high Al *** extruded Mg–9Al–1Zn–0.3Mn(AZ91)alloy contains lamellar-structured Mg_(17)Al_(12)discontinuous precipitates along the grain boundaries,which are formed via static precipitation during natural air *** extruded Mg–11Al–1Zn–0.3Mn(AZ111)alloy contains spherical Mg_(17)Al_(12)precipitates at the grain boundaries and inside the grains,which are formed via dynamic precipitation during *** to inhomogeneous distribution of precipitates,the AZ111 alloy consists of two different precipitate regions:precipitate-rich region with numerous precipitates and finer grains and precipitate-scarce region with a few precipitates and coarser *** AZ111 alloy exhibits a higher tensile strength than the AZ91 alloy because its smaller grain size and more abundant precipitates result in stronger grain-boundary hardening and precipitation hardening effects,***,the tensile elongation of the AZ111 alloy is lower than that of the AZ91 alloy because the weak cohesion between the dynamic precipitates and the matrix facilitates the crack initiation and *** bending,a macrocrack initiates on the outer surface of bending specimen in both *** AZ111 alloy exhibits higher bending yield strength and lower failure bending strain than the AZ91 *** bending specimens of the AZ91 alloy have similar bending formability,whereas those of the AZ111 alloy exhibit considerable differences in bending formability and crack propagation behavior,depending on the distribution and number density of precipitates in the *** bending specimens of the AZ111 alloy,it is found that the failure bending strain(ε_(f,bending))is inversely proportional to the area fraction of precipitates in the outer zone of bending specimen(A_(ppt)),with a relation
