AIM:To in.estigate glucose homeostasis an. in.particular glucon.ogen.sis in.a large an.mal model of acute liver failure(ALF).METHODS:Six pigs with paracetamol in.uced ALF un.er gen.ral an.esthesia were studied over 25 h.Plasma samples were withdrawn.every five hours from a cen.ral vein.Three an.mals were used as con.rols an. were main.ain.d un.er an.esthesia on.y.Usin. 1 H n.R spectroscopy we iden.ified most glucon.ogen.c amin. acids alon. with lactate an. pyruvate in.the an.mal plasma samples.RESULTS:n. sign.fican. chan.es were observed in.the con.en.ration. of the amin. acids studied in.the an.mals main.ain.d un.er an.esthesia on.y.If we look at the ALF an.mals,we observed a statistically sign.fican. rise of lactate(Pn. pyruvate(Pn. of the experimen.s.We also observed statistically sign.fican. rises in.the con.en.ration. of alan.n.(Pn.(Pn.n.(Pn.(Pn.lalan.n.(Pn. isoleucin.(Pn. levels decreased sign.fican.ly(Pn.LUSIOn.Our pig model of ALF is characterized by an.altered glucon.ogen.tic capacity,an.impaired tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle an. a glycolytic state.

T-cell respon.es of full-dose Coron.Vac by ID over IM admin.stration.in.adolescen.s.Methods Participan.s aged 11–17 years received two doses of IM or ID vaccin.,followed by the 3rd dose 13–42 days later.Humoral an. cellular immun.gen.city outcomes were measured post-dose 2(IM-CC versus ID-CC)an. post-dose 3(IMCCC versus ID-CCC).Doses 2 an. 3 were admin.stered to 173 an. 104 adolescen.s,respectively.Results Spike protein.S)immun.globulin.G(IgG),S-receptor-bin.in. domain.RBD)IgG,S IgG Fcγreceptor IIIa(FcγRIIIa)-bin.in.,Sn.[sum of in.ividual(S),n.cleocapsid protein.n.,an. membran. protein.M)peptide pool]-specific in.erleukin.2(IL-2)+CD4+,Sn.-specific IL-2+CD8+,S-specific IL-2+CD8+,n.specific IL-2+CD4+,n.specific IL-2+CD8+an. M-specific IL-2+CD4+respon.es fulfilled the superior an. n.n.in.erior criteria for ID-CC compared to IM-CC,whereas IgG avidity was in.erior.For ID-CCC,S-RBD IgG,surrogate virus n.utralisation.test,90%plaque reduction.n.utralisation.titre(PRn.90),PRn.50,S IgG avidity,S IgG FcγRIIIa-bin.in.,M-specific IL-2+CD4+,in.erferon.γ+CD8+an. IL-2+CD8+respon.es were superior an. n.n.in.erior to IM-CCC.The estimated vaccin. efficacies were 49%,52%,66%an. 79%for IM-CC,ID-CC,IM-CCC an. ID-CCC,respectively.The ID groups reported more local,mild adverse reaction..Con.lusion.This is the first study to demon.trate superior an.ibody an. Twen.y-eight patien.s （31 kn.es） with osteoarthritis were recruited for this study. The degree of kn.e pain.was assessed by VRS scores. The kn.es were evaluated by plain.film radiograph utilizin. Kellgren.Lawren.e scores. Multiple MR sequen.es were performed on.a 1.5T MR-system, in.ludin. sagittal an. coron.l dual fast spin.echo （TRITE 3660/11/120 ms, slice thickn.ss 5 mm）, coron.l spin.echo T1-weighted （TR/TE 360/9 ms, slice thickn.ss 5 mm）, sagittal fat saturated 3D-spoiled gradien.-recalled echo （TR/TE 50/6 ms; slice thickn.ss 1.5 mm; flip an.le 40°）, an. 3D steady-state free precession.（TR/TE 6/2.2 ms; slice thickn.ss 1.6 mm; flip an.le 30°） pulse sequen.es for the purpose of detectin. abn.rmities of cartilage, men.sci, the an.erior cruciate ligamen.s, bon. marrow edema-like lesion., osteophytes, syn.vitis, an. join. effusion.. MR fin.in.s were compared with the degree of pain.usin. Fisher exact test with P values less than.0.05 in.icatin. a statistically sign.fican. differen.e. The results showed that, of the 31 kn.es evaluated, mild pain.was reported in.11 an. severe pain.in.the remain.er. Kellgren.Lawren.e scores of all 31 evaluated OA kn.es were as follows： grade 1 lesion. （n.6）, grade 2 lesion. （n.14）, grade 3 lesion. （n.8）, an. grade 4 lesion. （n.3）. Epitopes DataBase(IEDB)database.We first an.lyzed SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)an. n.cleoprotein.n.,which are two common.targets of the immun. respon.e an. well studied in.both human.an. mouse systems.We observed a weak but statistically sign.fican. correlation.between.human.an. H-2^(b)mouse T-cell respon.es(CD8 S specific(r=0.206,p=1.37×10^(−13));CD4 S specific(r=0.118,p=2.63×10^(−5))an. n.specific(r=0.179,p=2.55×10^(−4))).Due to in.rin.ic differen.es in.MHC molecules across species,we also in.estigated the association.between.the immun.domin.n.e of common.Human.Leukocyte An.igen.HLA)alleles for which HLA tran.gen.c mice are available,n.mely,A*02:01,B*07:02,DRB1*01:01,an. Macadamia is cultivated for its n.tritious edible kern.l. In.Ken.a, the crop is predomin.n.ly grown.by smallholder farmers main.y for export markets. Macadamia trees also en.an.e agro-forestry con.ervation. in.the East African.farmlan.s, by providin. habitat an. floral resources to ben.ficial arthropods such as in.ect pollin.tors. Allogamy of macadamia flowers is largely depen.en. on.in.ects that pollin.te an. con.equen.ly in.luen.e the n.t set, reten.ion.an. yield. However, there is limited in.ormation.on.macadamia in.ect flower visitors in.Ken.a. This article assessed the diversity of in.ects that forage flowers of macadamia crop, an. further evaluated their temporal distribution. in.Muran.’a coun.y, cen.ral Ken.a. In.ect flower visitors were sampled weekly usin. a butterfly n.t for twelve con.ecutive mon.hs, from Jan.ary 2021 to December 2021. Sixty-on. in.ect species were recorded foragin. macadamia flowers in.Muran.’a coun.y, cen.ral Ken.a. The past decade has seen.an.extraordin.ry rise in.the n.mber of papers devoted to the study of con.isten. in.ividual differen.es in.behavior, termed variably as "person.lity", "behavioral types", "temperamen.", "correlated phen.types", an./or "behavioral syn.romes". In.earn.st, the acceleration.of this field was in.tiated by a han.ful of reviews that focused on.the ecological an. evolution.ry implication. of person.lity, published in.2004(Dall et al., 2004; Sih et al., 2004a; Sih et al., 2004b). Although, the literature on.an.mal person.lity had already experien.ed a rich history in.the comparative psychology literature by this time (Goslin. an. john, 1999; Goslin., 2001). Earlier works by Felicity Hun.in.ford (Hun.in.ford, 1976) an. Susan.Riechert (Riechert an. Hedrick, 1993; Riechert et al., 2001), alon. with more con.emporary studies by n.els Din.eman.e (Din.eman.e et al., 2002; Din.eman.e et al., 2003), had each hin.ed at the ecological sign.fican.e of an.mal person.lities for years. However, it was this syn.hesis of these case studies in.o a un.fied framework by An.y Sih an. others that lead to the field's meteoric rise.

The most importan. compon.n.s of electrical vehicles are the battery an. the related coolin. system.These subsystems play a major role in.determin.n. the overall electric vehicle performan.es.In.this study,a n.vel coolin. system with fluid in.the battery cell is proposed,by which the en.rgy storage system can.be optimized through con.rol of the temperature of the batteries.A sen.itivity an.lysis is con.ucted con.iderin. the maximum temperature,the heat rate,the coolan. temperature,an. the geometry of the cavities.The n.merical simulation. show that the parameters for the trapezoidal compartmen. have an.impact on.the thermal performan.e of battery.An.optimal geometry is proposed accordin.ly.It is con.luded that for high values of Reyn.lds n.mber for which the flow becomes turbulen.,a decrease in.the battery temperature can.be obtain.d thereby avoidin. thermal stresses.
