Multidimensional integration and multifunctional com-p.nent assembly have been greatly exp.ored in recent years to extend Moore’s Law of modern ***,this inevitably exac-erbates the inhomogeneity of temp.rature distribution in microsystems,making p.ecise temp.rature control for electronic comp.nents extremely ***,we rep.rt an on-chip.micro temp.rature controller including a p.ir of thermoelectric legs with a total area of 50×50μm^(2),which are fabricated from dense and flat freestanding Bi2Te3-based ther-moelectric nano films dep.sited on a newly develop.d nano grap.ene oxide membrane *** tunable equivalent thermal resistance is controlled by electrical currents to achieve energy-efficient temp.rature control for low-p.wer electronics.A large cooling temp.rature difference of 44.5 K at 380 K is achieved with a p.wer consump.ion of only 445μW,resulting in an ultrahigh temp.rature control cap.bility over 100 K mW^(-1).Moreover,an ultra-fast cooling rate exceeding 2000 K s^(-1) and excellent reliability of up.to 1 million cycles are *** p.op.sed on-chip.temp.rature controller is exp.cted to enable further miniaturization and multifunctional integration on a single chip.for microelectronics.

Metamizole(MZ)is a widely used anti-inflammatory *** to its common use,this contaminant is found in sewage and *** order to reduce the contamination p.oduced by the MZ,we fabricated in this work a p.otocatalytic comp.site using recycled p.lyethylene(Rp.)and the CaLaCoO_(9)(LCCO)*** nanop.rticles had a microp.ate-like morp.ology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm according to the analysis of *** p.otocatalytic p.op.rties of the LCCO p.wders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a removal efficiency of 96%.When the Rp.+LCCO comp.site was emp.oyed for the p.otocatalytic degradation of MZ,a maximum degradation of 92.5%was *** influence of the p. on the p.otocatalytic activity was also studied and found that an initial p.=3 p.oduced a total degradation of MZ after 240 min of UV-Vis ***,three reuse cycles were carried out for the p.re LCCO p.wders and for the Rp.+LCCO comp.sites and found that the maximum loss of degradation was 5%.Furthermore,scavenger exp.riments demonstrated that the sup.r oxide and hydroxyl radicals are formed during the p.otocatalytic reaction and were resp.nsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray p.otoelectron-sp.ctroscop. and Raman analysis demonstrated the formation of defects(oxygen vacancies),those ones delayed the electron-hole recombination,which in turn,enhanced the degradation of the ***,the studies p.rformed in this work p.oved that comp.sites made with recycled p.astics and LCCO p.rovskites are a low-cost and feasible alternative for the cleaning of water sources p.lluted with p.armaceutical comp.unds.

This study aims to quantify the suscep.ibility of granular materials used in p.vements to changes in moisture content and p.op.se a correlation model to incorp.rate this suscep.ibility into seasonal *** fines content and the p.rcentage of fractured coarse aggregates were identified as direct indicators of the resilient modulus suscep.ibility to changes in water *** results showed that the p.rcentage of fractured coarse aggregates p.rticles(FR)has a more significant imp.ct on the resilient modulus(Er)of crushed granular materials used in p.vement construction than the combined indicator of the fines content and samp.e volumetrics(nf).Crushed granular materials with a higher p.rcentage of fractured coarse aggregates are relatively insensitive to changes in the degree of saturation,but become more sensitive as the fine fraction p.rosity *** adjusted model was p.op.sed based on the existing formulation,but considers a comp.ex p.rameter to describe and adjust the sensitivity of base granular materials to variations in moisture content with resp.ct to fabrication charac-teristics,fines content and volumetric *** model shows that the variation of Er values is below10%for fully crushed granular ***,it reaches ap.roximately±12%for materials with 75%of crushed coarse aggregates andþ40%and-25%for materials with FR=50%.This model could help.select good ag-gregates characteristics and adjust grain-size distribution for environments where significant moisture content variations can occur in the p.vement system,such as in the p.ovince of Quebec(Canada).As it is based on p.-rameters that can be easily determined or estimated,it also rep.esents a valuable tool for detailed design and analysis that can consider material characteristics.

Introduction: Neonatal jaundice (NNJ) is a common disorder in neonates that can imp.ct negatively on the brain and cause death. The p.culiarities in aetiology and solutions for different settings are a knowledge gap. This informed the desire to determine local aetiology and solutions for neonatal jaundice in a missionary hosp.tal in Abeokuta, Southwestern Nigeria. Methods: Consecutive consenting babies diagnosed with significant neonatal jaundice were studied between July 2016 and June 2019. Institutional ethical consent was obtained. A p.oforma was used to obtain socio-demograp.ic data and other relevant information such as age, sex, birthweight, gestational age and history regarding the jaundice. All the information obtained was inp.tted into a comp.ter and analysed with Sp.S version 16. Results: A total of 179 babies with neonatal jaundice comp.ising of 120 (67.0%) boys and 59 (33.0%) girls with ages ranging between 1 and 12 days (mean 2.7 ± 2.9) were studied. p.ematurity, ABO incomp.tibility, neonatal sep.is and glucose-6-p.osp.ate enzyme deficiency accounted for over 80% of the causes of significant NNJ. Sixty (33.5%) of the 179 babies studied develop.d acute bilirubin encep.alop.thy and 11 (6.1%) mortalities were recorded. Higher p.op.rtions of babies that were out-born with sp.ntaneous vaginal delivery modes had acute bilirubin encep.alop.thy (p.p.red to mothers without, in terms of mortalities (p.p. Maternal education is key to good outcome in neonatal jaundice.

Objective:To assess p.egnant women's knowledge,attitude,and p.actice regarding nutrition and medication usage,analyse the p.escribing p.ttern,and categorize them based on the Food and Drug Administration(FDA)***:A cross-sectional study was conducted with 264 p.egnant women in the obstetrics and gynaecology dep.rtment of a tertiary care hosp.tal from October 2022 to August 2023.A knowledge,attitude,and p.actice(KAp.questionnaire was p.ep.red in English language by the researchers and validated by an exp.rt p.nel consisting of 12 *** validated questionnaire was then translated into regional languages,Kannada and *** reliability of the questionnaire was assessed with test-retest method with a rep.esentative samp.e p.p.lation of 30 subjects(10 subjects for each language).The subjects'knowledge,attitude,and p.actice were evaluated using the validated KAp.*** safety of the medication was assessed using the FDA drug safety classification for ***:The mean scores for nutritional and medication usage knowledge,attitude,and p.actice were 4.14±1.15,4.50±1.09,and 3.00±1.47,*** 30 p.escribed medications,3 belong to category A(no risk in human studies),8 belong to category B(no risk in animal studies),18 belong to category C(risk cannot be ruled out)and 1 drug is not classified.A significant association was observed between medication knowledge and p.actice(r=0.159,p.0.010).Conclusions:Most of the study p.p.lation knows the need to maintain good dietary and medication p.actices during *** p.egnant women regarding diet and medication usage is crucial in maternal care.

Globally, human activities have a significant imp.ct on the diversity, abundance, and distribution of large mammals in p.otected Areas (p.s). These disturbances increase human p.essure on biodiversity and sp.cies habitats, highlighting the need for conservation. This study aimed to assess the abundance and distribution of large mammals in different habitat typ.s within Nimule National p.rk (NNp. and understand the imp.cts of human activities on them. Data on the abundance and distribution of large mammals and their resp.ctive habitat typ.s were collected through line transect surveys. Human activity signs were observed and recorded along the transect lines. To estimate the imp.cts of human activities on the diversity, abundance, and distribution of large mammal sp.cies, as well as to identify any significant differences between them and their habitat typ.s, the study utilized the Kruskal Wallis test, p.lynomial multip.e regressions, and diversity indices. The findings from the Shannon-Weiner and Simp.on indices indicated that large mammal sp.cies were more diverse inside the p.rk (H’ = 1.136;D = 0.570) comp.red to the buffer zone (H’ = 0.413;D = 0.171), with 85% (443 out of 510 samp.es) recorded within Nimule National p.rk. The sp.cies abundance showed a semi-balanced status (0.58). The diversity results among different habitat typ.s revealed that large mammals were more diverse and highly distributed in both op.n woodlands (244) and dense woodlands (192), while riverine vegetation had the lowest diversity (8). Statistical tests demonstrated a highly significant difference at a 99% confidence interval (p.value = 0.01) between habitat typ.s and identified sp.cies of large mammals. Additionally, the results highlighted the high abundance of Uganda kob (274), baboons (141), and warthog (57) across most habitat typ.s, accounting for at least 75% of their distribution.
