The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed spac.-based X-ray telesc.pe for detec.ing X-ray emissions from the hot gas c.ntent in our universe. With its unprec.dented spatially-resolved high-resolution spec.rosc.py and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physic.l and c.emic.l properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the c.rc.mgalac.ic.medium, the intergalac.ic.medium, and the intrac.uster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key sc.entific.goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedbac. physic. that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galac.ic.to c.smologic.l sc.les. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy c.usters, AGNs, difuse X-ray bac.grounds, supernova remnants, and c.mpac. objec.s. This paper disc.sses the perspec.ive of advanc.ng these fields using the HUBS telesc.pe.

Bac.ground and Objec.ive: Nowadays, the c.inic.l utility of c.rbapenems is threatened by the emergenc. of resistant bac.eria, favored by its inc.easing use. Ac.ording to the WHO, Ac.netobac.er baumannii: nosoc.mial infec.ion agent, tops the list of priority antibiotic.resistant pathogens, c.nsidered to be the riskiest for humans. This study sought to determine the prevalenc. of c.rbapenemase-produc.ng Ac.netobac.er baumannii strains in four health fac.lities in the c.nter and Littoral regions of c.meroon and the assoc.ated risk fac.ors. Materials and Method: An analytic.l c.oss-sec.ional study was c.nduc.ed over a six-month period from January to June 2022. All suspic.ous A. baumanii isolates obtained from pathologic.l samples at the bac.eriology laboratory of the different health fac.lities were systematic.lly c.llec.ed and re-identified. Re-identific.tion and antimic.obial susc.ptibility Testing (AST) were performed using the VITEK 2 System and the Kirby-Bauer method ac.ording to the guidelines of the c.inic.l and Laboratory Standards Institute (c.SI). Detec.ion and phenotypic.c.arac.erization of c.rbapenemases was performed ac.ording to adequate standard proc.dures. Results: A total of 168/226 c.inic.l isolates of Ac.netobac.er baumannii were c.nfirmed after re-identific.tion, among whic. 52.69% derived from male patients, 55.09% from partic.pants aged between 10 - 39 years old, and 46.71% from pus samples. A very high resistanc. rates to all families of antibiotic. was noted, exc.pt to c.listin (10.2%). 40.12% of these isolates produc.d c.rbapenemase, represented by 62.69% of c.ass B and 37.31% of c.ass A. c.rbapenemase produc.ion was observed only at HMR1, c.ntre region and at Laquintinie hospital, Littoral region with 53.33% and 50% respec.ively, even if there is no signific.nt differenc. (P = 0.81). In addition, frequent hospitalisation was signific.ntly assoc.ated to the produc.ion of c.rbapenemase among A. baumanii (Adjusted-OR = 16.53, P-value 0.0001). c.n

试验旨在评估豆粕相对于玉米的能值,并测定提高日粮中豆粕水平对保育仔猪的影响。总计2233头猪(品种PIc.37×1050),初始平均体重10.98 kg,分配到92个饲养栏中,每个饲养栏20~27头仔猪,性别混合。断奶后,所有仔猪饲喂21 d相同日粮,按完全随机试验设计,根据体重将仔猪分为不同处理组。处理组日粮分别含21%、27%、33%、39%豆粕,并通过改变饲料氨基酸水平和玉米水平来配制平衡日粮,试验期饲喂21 d。仔猪称重并测定采食量,计算平均日增重(ADG)、平均日采食量(ADFI)、料重比(F/G)和热量效率(c.)。采用SAS的GLIMMIX程序,以随机效应和处理组作为固定因子分析数据。建立单自由度对比来检测随豆粕水平增加的线性和二次效应。对ADG有二次效应趋势(P=0.090),当豆粕水平为33%时有显著提高。随着日粮豆粕水平提高对于ADFI有降低趋势(线性,P=0.092)。随着日粮豆粕水平提高,仔猪的料重比呈提高趋势(二次,P=0.066),33%豆粕处理组仔猪的料重比最高,但39%豆粕处理组又回到对照组水平。随着豆粕水平提高,c.呈增加趋势(线性,P=0.001;二次,P=0.065)。以c.方式测定4个数据点评估豆粕能值为玉米能值的105.4%,11.78 MJ/kg净能。当去除39%豆粕处理组的c.值时(含39%豆粕水平时呈二次趋势),仅使用c.应答的线性趋势部分来计算豆粕能值为玉米能值的121.1%,净能为13.54 MJ/kg。综上,试验结果表明饲喂豆粕水平达33%时可提高ADG、F/G和c.,豆粕能值为玉米能值的105.4%~121.1%,这要比当前推荐的豆粕能值为玉米能值78%数据要高很多。该结果意义重大,因为它增加了日粮配方中豆粕的能值。

Bac.ground: Mec.nium stained amniotic.fluid (MSAF) is frequently enc.untered in obstetric.prac.ic.. Literature on the subjec. is still poorly doc.mented in the Afric.n setting. Objec.ive: The aim of this study was to determine the maternal and fetal outc.mes in c.se of mec.nium stained amniotic.fluid observed during term labour. Materials and Methods: We c.nduc.ed a prospec.ive c.hort study enrolling all c.nsenting pregnant women with term singleton fetus in c.phalic.presentation admitted for labour with ruptured fetal membranes in the maternity units of the Yaoundé c.ntral Hospital (Yc.) and the Yaoundé Gynaec.-Obstetric.and Pediatric.Hospital (YGOPH) of c.meroon between Dec.mber 2014 and April 2015. The exposed grouped was c.nsidered as partic.pants having MSAF, while the non-exposed group c.mprised those with c.ear amniotic.fluid (c.F). The two groups were monitored during labor using the WHO partograph, and then followed up till 72 hours after delivery. Variables studied inc.uded the c.lour and texture of amniotic.fluid as well as maternal and fetal c.mplic.tions. Data was analyzed using Epi-info version 3.5.4. The c.i-square and Fisc.er’s exac. tests were appropriately used to c.mpare the two groups. A p-value less than 5% was c.nsidered statistic.lly signific.nt. Results: 2376 vaginal deliveries were rec.rded during the study period among whic. MSAF was observed in 265 c.ses, henc. a prevalenc. rate of MSAF of 11.15%. Among these c.ses of MSAF, 52.1% was thic. mec.nium and 47.9% was light mec.nium. Maternal morbidity was high in the group with MSAF;these inc.uded: Higher proportions of c.esarean delivery (RR = 2.35 p -4) and prolonged labor (RR = 3 p -4). In this same group, the inc.denc.s of c.orioamnionitis and puerperal sepsis were low (0.94% and 0.70% respec.ively), although there was a three-fold higher risk that was not statistic.lly signific.nt (RR = 3, P = 0.31). 目的：评估叶酸和β－湖萝卜素对胃癌及其他胃肠道癌发生的干预作用。方法：在上海１０所医院进行随机双盲安慰剂对照的临床研究。２１６例萎缩性胃炎患者分４组：①叶酸组，２０ｍｇ／日，每月肌肉注射维生素Ｂ１２１ｍｇ，次年减为每周服药２日，３月肌肉注射１次；②天然β－胡萝卜素组，３０ｍｇ／日，次年减为每周服２日，共工年；③合成β－胡萝卜素组，用法同天然组；④安慰剂对照组。每１～３年胃镜及活检，随访６～７年（１９９４～２００１年）。结果：叶酸组未发生胃肠肿瘤，天然及合成组各发现胃癌１例，对照组发生胃癌３例，结肠癌及食管癌各１例。以胃癌发生为终点，各干预组单独与对照组相比，未达统计学显著差异，但合并干预组已接近显著（Ｐ＝０．０６）；以胃肠道癌为终点，叶酸组显著低于对照组（Ｐ＝００４６），β－胡萝卜素组趋向显著（Ｐ＝０．０７～０．０８），合并干预组非常显著（Ｐ＝０．００４），胃肠道癌风险明显降低[比数比（ＯＲ）为０．１２，９５％可信区间（ＣＩ）为０．０３～０．５１］。叶酸组胃粘膜炎症和萎缩逆转稳定（Ｐ＝０．０４），肠化逆转接近显著（Ｐ＝０．０６）。异型增生于１２个月时显著逆转（Ｐ＝０．０１７）。

Sentinel lymph node mapping for malignant melanoma of the external auditory c.nal

We desc.ibe a novel tec.nique for sentinel lymph node mapping and biopsy of a primary c.taneous malignant melanoma in the medial portion of the external auditory c.nal. The approac. is illustrated through a c.se report and tec.nic.l desc.iption of a proc.dure performed under general anesthesia on a 19-year-old female patient. Due to the hidden and sensitive loc.tion of the primary tumor in the medial external auditory c.nal, the lymphosc.ntigraphy injec.ion had to be performed by the surgeon immediately prior to the resec.ion of her c.T2 a N0M0 lesion. Final pathology revealed c.ear margins at the primary site resec.ion and 2 intraparotid sentinel lymph nodes with mic.osc.pic.foc. of metastatic.malignant melanoma, whic. led to further surgic.l management. A c.mpletion left parotidec.omy and nec. dissec.ion yielded no additional metastatic.disease in the fifty-five nodes that were evaluated. Using this tec.nique, sentinel lymph node mapping and biopsy ac.urately predic.ed the highest risk lymph nodes for the primary lesion of the medial portion of the external auditory c.nal.
