An Environment‑Tolerant Ion‑Conducting Double‑Network Composite Hydrogel for High‑Performance Flexible Electronic Devices

High-performance ion-conducting hydrogels(ICHs)are vital for developing flexible electronic devices.However,the robustness and ion-conducting behavior of ICHs deteriorate at extreme tempera-tures,hampering their use in soft electronics.To resolve these issues,a method involving freeze–thawing and ionizing radiation technology is reported herein for synthesizing a novel double-network(DN)ICH based on a poly(ionic liquid)/MXene/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PMP DN ICH)system.The well-designed ICH exhibits outstanding ionic conductivity(63.89 mS cm^(-1) at 25℃),excellent temperature resistance(-60–80℃),prolonged stability(30 d at ambient temperature),high oxidation resist-ance,remarkable antibacterial activity,decent mechanical performance,and adhesion.Additionally,the ICH performs effectively in a flexible wireless strain sensor,thermal sensor,all-solid-state supercapacitor,and single-electrode triboelectric nanogenerator,thereby highlighting its viability in constructing soft electronic devices.The highly integrated gel structure endows these flexible electronic devices with stable,reliable signal output performance.In particular,the all-solid-state supercapacitor containing the PMP DN ICH electrolyte exhibits a high areal specific capacitance of 253.38 mF cm^(-2)(current density,1 mA cm^(-2))and excellent environmental adaptability.This study paves the way for the design and fabrication of high-performance mul-tifunctional/flexible ICHs for wearable sensing,energy-storage,and energy-harvesting applications.

TendiffPure:a convolutional tensor-train denoising diffusion model for purification

Diffusion models are effective purification methods,where the noises or adversarial attacks are removed using generative approaches before pre-existing classifiers conducting classification tasks.However,the efficiency of diffusion models is still a concern,and existing solutions are based on knowledge distillation which can jeopardize the generation quality because of the small number of generation steps.Hence,we propose TendiffPure as a tensorized and compressed diffusion model for purification.Unlike the knowledge distillation methods,we directly compress U-Nets as backbones of diffusion models using tensor-train decomposition,which reduces the number of parameters and captures more spatial information in multi-dimensional data such as images.The space complexity is reduced from O(N^(2))to O(NR^(2))with R≤4 as the tensor-train rank and N as the number of channels.Experimental results show that TendiffPure can more efficiently obtain high-quality purification results and outperforms the baseline purification methods on CIFAR-10,Fashion-MNIST,and MNIST datasets for two noises and one adversarial attack.

Glutamicibacter nicotianae AT6:A new strain for the efficient biodegradation of tilmicosin

The degradation of tilmicosin(TLM),a semi-synthetic 16-membered macrolide antibiotic,has been receiving increasing attention.Conventionally,there are three tilmicosin degradation methods,and among them microbial degradation is considered the best due to its high efficiency,eco-friendliness,and low cost.Coincidently,we found a new strain,Glutamicibacter nicotianae sp.AT6,capable of degrading high-concentration TLM at 100 mg/L with a 97%removal efficiency.The role of tryptone was as well investigated,and the results revealed that the loading of tryptone had a significant influence on TLM removals.The toxicity assessment indicated that strain AT6 could efficiently convert TLM into less-toxic substances.Based on the identified intermediates,the degradation of TLM by AT6 processing through two distinct pathways was then proposed.

Mechanism of Qili Qiangxin Capsule for Heart Failure Based on miR133a-Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress

Objective:To investigate the pharmacological mechanism of Qili Qiangxin Capsule(QLQX)improvement of heart failure(HF)based on miR133a-endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)pathway.Methods:A left coronary artery ligation-induced HF after myocardial infarction model was used in this study.Rats were randomly assigned to the sham group,the model group,the QLQX group[0.32 g/(kg·d)],and the captopril group[2.25 mg/(kg·d)],15 rats per group,followed by 4 weeks of medication.Cardiac function such as left ventricular ejection fraction(EF),fractional shortening(FS),left ventricular systolic pressure(LVSP),left ventricular end diastolic pressure(LVEDP),the maximal rate of increase of left ventricular pressure(+dp/dt max),and the maximal rate of decrease of left ventricular pressure(–dp/dt max)were monitored by echocardiography and hemodynamics.Hematoxylin and eosin(HE)and Masson stainings were used to visualize pathological changes in myocardial tissue.The m RNA expression of mi R133a,glucose-regulated protein78(GRP78),inositol-requiring enzyme 1(IRE1),activating transcription factor 6(ATF6),X-box binding protein1(XBP1),C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP)and Caspase 12 were detected by RT-PCR.The protein expression of GRP78,p-IRE1/IRE1ratio,cleaved-ATF6,XBP1-s(the spliced form of XBP1),CHOP and Caspase 12 were detected by Western blot.Td T-mediated d UTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL)staining was used to detect the rate of apoptosis.Results:QLQX significantly improved cardiac function as evidenced by increased EF,FS,LVSP,+dp/dt max,-dp/dt max,and decreased LVEDP(P<0.05,P<0.01).HE staining showed that QLQX ameliorated cardiac pathologic damage to some extent.Masson staining indicated that QLQX significantly reduced collagen volume fraction in myocardial tissue(P<0.01).Results from RT-PCR and Western blot showed that QLQX significantly increased the expression of mi R133a and inhibited the m RNA expressions of GRP78,IRE1,ATF6 and XBP1,as well as decreased the protein expressions of GRP78,cleaved-ATF6 and XBP1-s and decreased p-IRE1/IRE1 rati

Evaluation of the value of combined detection of tumor markers CA724,carcinoembryonic antigen,CA242,and CA19-9 in gastric cancer

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is a global health concern that poses a significant threat to human well-being.AIM To detecting serum changes in carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigens(CA)724,CA242,and CA19-9 expression among patients with gastric cancer.METHODS Eighty patients diagnosed with gastric cancer between January 2020 and January 2023 were included in the observation group,while 80 patients with benign gastric diseases were included in the control group.Both groups were tested for tumor markers(CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9].Tumor marker indicators(CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9)were compared between the two groups,assessing positive rates of tumor markers across various stages in the observation group.Additionally,single and combined detection of various tumor markers were examined.RESULTS The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value observed for the combined detection of CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9 were higher than those of CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9 individually.Therefore,the combined detection of CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9 has a high diagnostic accuracy and could reduce the occurrence of missed or misdiagnosed cases,facilitating the early diagnosis and treatment of patients.CONCLUSION CA724,CEA,CA242,and CA19-9 serum levels in gastric cancer patients significantly surpassed those in non-gastric cancer patients(P<0.05).Their combined detection can improve the diagnostic accuracy for gastric cancer,warranting clinical promotion.

Identification of partial differential equations from noisy data with integrated knowledge discovery and embedding using evolutionary neural networks

Identification of underlying partial differential equations(PDEs)for complex systems remains a formidable challenge.In the present study,a robust PDE identification method is proposed,demonstrating the ability to extract accurate governing equations under noisy conditions without prior knowledge.Specifically,the proposed method combines gene expression programming,one type of evolutionary algorithm capable of generating unseen terms based solely on basic operators and functional terms,with symbolic regression neural networks.These networks are designed to represent explicit functional expressions and optimize them with data gradients.In particular,the specifically designed neural networks can be easily transformed to physical constraints for the training data,embedding the discovered PDEs to further optimize the metadata used for iterative PDE identification.The proposed method has been tested in four canonical PDE cases,validating its effectiveness without preliminary information and confirming its suitability for practical applications across various noise levels.

Efficient Direct Decomposition of NO over La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3)(A=K, Ba, Y) Catalysts under Microwave Irradiation

La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3) (A=K,Ba,Y) catalysts supported on the microwave-absorbing ceramic heating carrier were prepared by the sol-gel method.The crystalline phase and the catalytic activity of the La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3)catalysts were characterized by XRD and H_(2) temperature-programmed reduction (TPR).The effects of reaction temperature,oxygen concentration,and gas flow rate on the direct decomposition of nitric oxide over the synthesized catalysts were studied under microwave irradiation (2.45 GHz).The XRD results indicated that the La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3) catalysts formed an ABO_(3) perovskite structure,and the H_(2)-TPR results revealed that the relative reducibility of the catalysts increased in the order of La_(0.8)K_(0.2)NiO_(3)>La_(0.8)Ba_(0.2)NiO_(3)>La_(0.8)Y_(0.2)Ni O_(3).Under microwave irradiation,the highest NO conversion amounted to 98.9%,which was obtained with the La_(0.8)K_(0.2)NiO_(3) catalyst at 400℃.The oxygen concentration did not inhibit the NO decomposition on the La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3) catalysts,thus the N_(2) selectivity exceeded 99.8%under excess oxygen at 550℃.The NOconversion of the La_(0.8)A_(0.2)NiO_(3) catalysts decreased linearly with the increase in the gas flow rate.

Design and synthesis of thiol-terminated imidothioether oligomer as thermally latent hardener and modifier for high-performance epoxy/thiol thermosets

Conventional base-catalyzed epoxy/aliphatic thiol systems have a poor storage stability,and are impossible to be one-pot systems.A widely accepted solution is to use the latent catalysts,which are usually insoluble anionic initiators sensitive to impurities and moisture,and have many limitations in practical use.In this work,a soluble thiol-terminated imidothioether oligomer(TPI) was synthesized and used as a latent hardener and modifier to prepare one-pot epoxy/thiol systems without the latent catalysts.The latent behavior and curing mechanism of epoxy systems(EP/TPI series),consisted of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether(DGEBA),pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptoacetate)(PETMP) and TPI,were proposed.The thiol exchange reaction between TPI and PETMP preceded the curing reaction of DGEBA,and produced aromatic thiols,which were unreactive at ambient conditions and reacted with DGEBA to form the thermosets at temperatures above 130 ℃.At the loading of 24.4 wt%TPI,the epoxy system(EP/TPI-3) had a shelf life of 13 days and was completely cured within 20 min at 180 ℃.Meanwhile,the catalyst-free curing process of EP/TPI-3 system was insensitive to impurities and moisture.Furthermore,the thermal and mechanical properties of EP/TPI-3 thermoset were simultaneously improved,thereinto,the glass transition temperature,Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength were increased by 16.7 ℃,12.9%,and 13.6%,respectively,compared with those of the commercial DGEBA/PETMP thermoset.This work shows that TPI has the potential to be a powerful alternative to commercial latent catalysts,and EP/TPI thermosets with high performance have broad application prospects.

Accelerated Primal-Dual Projection Neurodynamic Approach With Time Scaling for Linear and Set Constrained Convex Optimization Problems

The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence rates.Most previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization problems.In this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual vari-ables.By satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence rate.This only requires assuming convexity of the objective function.We validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

Plasma-assisted synthesis of porous bismuth nanosheets for electrocatalytic CO_(2)-to-formate reduction

The electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction(eCO_(2)RR)to formate,driven by clean energy,is a promising approach for producing renewable chemicals and high-value fuels.Despite its potential,further development faces challenges due to limitations in electrocatalytic activity and durability,especially for nonnoble metal-based catalysts.Here,naturally abundant bismuth-based nanosheets that can effectively drive CO_(2)-to-formate electrocatalytic reduction are prepared using the plasma-activated Bi_(2)Se_(3) followed by a reduction process.Thus-obtained plasma-activated Bi nanosheets(P-BiNS)feature ultrathin structures and high surface areas.Such nanostructures ensure the P-BiNS with outstanding eCO_(2)RR catalytic performance,highlighted by the current density of over 80 mA cm^(-2) and a formate Faradic efficiency of>90%.Furthermore,P-BiNS catalysts demonstrate excellent durability and stability without deactivation following over 50h of operation.The selectivity for formate production is also studied by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,validating the importance and efficacy of the stabilization of intermediates(^(*)OCHO)on the P-BiNS surfaces.This study provides a facile plasma-assisted approach for developing high-performance and low-cost electrocatalysts.
