Ni-Cr and Fe-Cr-Al films deposited on the Al2.3 substrate are studied by a method of vacuum evaporation in this paper. Influence of resistance value on density and evaporation parameters of the films reveals that the resistance of films and the adhesion of films to substrates are determined by the evaporation time and the substrate temperate under the condition of the maximum vacuity of 6.2.10-4 Pa, respectively.

Numerical instabilities are often encountered in FE solution of continuumtopology optimization. The essence of the numerical instabilities is given from the inverse partialdifferential equation (PDE) point of view. On the basis of the strict mathematical theory, a novelmethod, named as window filter and multi-grid method, which solves the numerical instabilities, isproposed. Convergent analyses and a numerical example are presented.

Based on the electric pitch system of large scale horizontal-axis wind turbines,the blade pitch loads coming mainly from centrifugal force,aerodynamic force and gravity are analyzed,and the calculation models for them are established in this *** illustration,a 1.2.MW wind turbine is introduced as a practical sample,and its blade pitch loads from centrifugal force,aerodynamic force and gravity are calculated and analyzed separately and *** research results showed that in the process of rotor rotating 360o,the fluctuation of blade pitch loads is similar to cosine curve when the rotor rotational speed,in-flow wind speed and pitch angle are ***,the amplitude of blade pitch load presents quite a difference at a different pitch *** ways of calculation for blade pitch loads are of the universality,and are helpful for further research of the individual pitch control system.

The novel differential scanning calorimetry method for determining trapped water volume of human red blood cell during freezing process has been reexamined. Results show that the final erythrocyte volume is 53% of its isotonic volume after freezing to -40℃. An electronic particle counter (MultisizerTM III, Beckman Coulter Inc., USA) was used to measure cell volume changes in response to hypertonic solution. Using this approach, when extracellular solution was 3186 mOsm, the equilibrium cell volume was found to be 57% of its isotonic value. Both results indicate that 34%—40% of intracellular water is trapped and cannot respond to osmotic difference between intra- and extracellular solution. These findings are consistent with the published data: at least 2.%—32. of the isotonic cell water volume is retained within RBCs during freezing. Some applications of the values of trapped water are addressed.

The technique of microwave irradiation induced free radical bulk- polyaddition reactions in porous wood flour was used to modify wood flour. The behaviors of the modified wood flour under microwave irradiation, such as thermal stability and moisture sorption properties, were studied. A kind of semiinterpenetrating polymer network wood four （Semi-IPN-WF） can be formed through polymerization of MMA in the porous wood flour by microwave irradiation, and the thermal decomposition temperature of the semi-IPN-WF is considerably increased. PVC/Semi-IPN-WF composites were prepared by melt mixing in double rolls, which exhibit improved rheological properties, lower water sorption properties and outstanding mechanical performances.
