BACKGROUND The generalized tonic-clonic seizure(GTCS)is the most usual variety of epileptic *** is mainly characterized by strong body muscle rigidity,loss of consciousness,a disorder of plant neurofunction,and significant damage to cognitive *** effect of antiepileptic drugs on cognition should also be *** present,there is no effective treatment for patients with epilepsy,but traditional Chinese medicine has shown a significant effect on chronic disease with fewer harmful side effects and should,therefore,be considered for the therapy means of epilepsy with cognitive *** To investigate the clinical efficacy of Baijin pills for treating GTCS patients with cognitive *** This prospective study enrolled patients diagnosed with GTCS between January 2020 and December 2023 and separate them into two groups(experimental and control)using random number table *** control group was treated with sodium valproate,and the experimental group was Baijin pills and sodium valproate for three *** frequency and duration of each seizure,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),and the Quality of life Rating Scale(QOliE-31)were recorded before and after *** There were 85 patients included(42 in the control group and 43 in the experimental group).After treatment,the seizure frequency in the experimental group was significantly reduced(Plization ability,significantly increased(PliE-31 score of the experimental group increased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment(Plinical effect on epilepsy with cognitive dysfunction.

Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) is an important lead-free ferroelectric *** modification of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12)has attracted great attention to improving its *** this work,the effect of Sr dopants on the microstructure,dielectric,and conductivity of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramic was investigated by XRD,SEM,and AC impedance *** of 1 at%Sr for Bi decreased the grain size,suppressed the dielectric dispersion of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramic at room temperature,and resulted in different effects on the conductivity of grains and grain *** conductivity of grains in Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramic was increased by the small amount of Sr dopants in the whole experimental temperature *** the grain boundaries of 1 at%Sr-doped Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) exhibited lower conductivity than pure Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) below～380℃and higher conductivity above～380℃.The experimental phenomena were interpreted in term of compensating defects for Sr dopants.

Aurivillius Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15) and Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)compounds were synthesized via solid-state reaction technique.X-ray powder diffraction study confirmed monophasic four-layered Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15) and three-layered Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12) *** relaxation and conduction behaviors of Na-contained Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15)ceramics were thoroughly investigated in a large scale of temperature of 30-650℃ and frequency of 40 Hz^(-1) *** addition,comparative studies of both the compounds were *** and modulus analyses revealed a single relaxation behavior in Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15) compound which was originated from the grain’s interior with grain resistance of 2.189×10^(5)Ω and capacitance of 4.268×10^(-10) F at 570℃.While in Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12) ceramic the relaxation was due to the contributions of grain and grain *** current(AC)conductivity analysis revealed the presence of two different conduction regions in both the *** energies for the two different conduction mechanisms,i.e.,in low-temperature region and in high-temperature region were calculated to be~0.23 and~1.27 eV at 1 kHz for Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15) compound and~0.43 eV and~0.97 eV at 1 kHz for Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12) compound,*** present study of dielectric relaxation and conduction behaviors would be helpful for further investigations of Na_(0.5)Bi_(4.5)Ti_(4)O_(15)-related Aurivillius compounds.

An Imbalanced Data Classification Method Based on Hybrid Resampling and Fine Cost Sensitive Support Vector Machine

When building a classification model,the scenario where the samples of one class are significantly more than those of the other class is called data *** imbalance causes the trained classification model to be in favor of the majority class(usually defined as the negative class),which may do harm to the accuracy of the minority class(usually defined as the positive class),and then lead to poor overall performance of the model.A method called MSHR-FCSSVM for solving imbalanced data classification is proposed in this article,which is based on a new hybrid resampling approach(MSHR)and a new fine cost-sensitive support vector machine(CS-SVM)classifier(FCSSVM).The MSHR measures the separability of each negative sample through its Silhouette value calculated by Mahalanobis distance between samples,based on which,the so-called pseudo-negative samples are screened out to generate new positive samples(over-sampling step)through linear interpolation and are deleted finally(under-sampling step).This approach replaces pseudo-negative samples with generated new positive samples one by one to clear up the inter-class overlap on the borderline,without changing the overall scale of the *** FCSSVM is an improved version of the traditional *** considers influences of both the imbalance of sample number and the class distribution on classification simultaneously,and through finely tuning the class cost weights by using the efficient optimization algorithm based on the physical phenomenon of rime-ice(RIME)algorithm with cross-validation accuracy as the fitness function to accurately adjust the classification *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a series of experiments are carried out based on 20 imbalanced datasets including both mildly and extremely imbalanced *** experimental results show that the MSHR-FCSSVM method performs better than the methods for comparison in most cases,and both the MSHR and the FCSSVM played significan

Inhibiting shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides by double metal selenides for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries

lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)have attracted the attention of more and more researchers due to the advantages of high energy density,environmental friendliness,and low production ***,the low electronic conductivity of active material and shuttling effect of lithium polysulfides(liPSs)limit the commercial development of *** solve these problems,we design a core-shell composite with nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)and two types of selenides(FeSe_(2)-NC@ZnSe-NC).The FeSe_(2)-NC@ZnSe-NC has a strong adsorption capacity,and can effectively adsorb *** the same time,it also effectively alleviates the shuttling effect of liPSs,and improves the utilization of the active substance during the charge/discharge reaction *** mechanism involved in FeSe_(2)-NC@ZnSe-NC is demonstrated by both experiments and density-functional theory(DFT)*** electrochemical test results indicate that LSB with S/FeSe_(2)-NC@ZnSe-NC delivers an initial discharge capacity of 1260 mAh·g^(-1)at *** after 500 cycles at 1C,the capacity decay rate per cycle is 0.031%,and the capacity retention rate is 85%.The FeSe_(2)-NC@ZnSe-NC core-shell structure verifies a rational strategy to construct an electrode material for high-performance LSBs.

A data-driven model of drop size prediction based on artificial neural networks using small-scale data sets

An artificial neural network(ANN)method is introduced to predict drop size in two kinds of pulsed columns with small-scale data *** training,the deviation between calculate and experimental results are 3.8%and 9.3%,*** ANN model,the influence of interfacial tension and pulsation intensity on the droplet diameter has been *** size gradually increases with the increase of interfacial tension,and decreases with the increase of pulse *** can be seen that the accuracy of ANN model in predicting droplet size outside the training set range is reach the same level as the accuracy of correlation obtained based on experiments within this *** two kinds of columns,the drop size prediction deviations of ANN model are 9.6%and 18.5%and the deviations in correlations are 11%and 15%.
