Fluoropyrimidine-based combination chemotherapy plus targeted therapy is the standard initial treatment for unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC),but the prognosis remains *** phase 3 trial(***:NCT03950154)assessed the efficacy and adverse events(AEs)of the combination of PD-1 blockade-activated DC-CIK(PD1-T)cells with XELOX plus bevacizumab as a first-line therapy in patients with mCRC.A total of 202 participants were enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab(the control group,n=102)or the same regimen plus autologous PD1-T cell immunotherapy(the immunotherapy group,n=100)every 21 days for up to 6 cycles,followed by maintenance treatment with capecitabine and *** main endpoint of the trial was progression-free survival(PFS).The median follow-up was 19.5 *** PFS was 14.8 months(95%CI,11.6-18.0)for the immunotherapy group compared with 9.9 months(8.0-11.8)for the control group(hazard ratio[HR],0.60[95%CI,0.40-0.88];p=0.009).Median overall survival(OS)was not reached for the immunotherapy group and 25.6 months(95%CI,18.3-32.8)for the control group(HR,0.57[95%CI,0.33-0.98];p=0.043).Grade 3 or higher AEs occurred in 20.0%of patients in the immunotherapy group and 23.5%in the control groups,with no toxicity-associated deaths *** addition of PD1-T cells to first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab demonstrates significant clinical improvement of PFS and OS with well tolerability in patients with previously untreated mCRC.

Objective:Side population(SP) cells may play a crucial role in tumorigenesis and the recurrence of *** kinds of cell lines and tissues have demonstrated the presence of SP cells,including several gastric cancer cell *** study is aimed to identify the cancer stem-like cells in the SP of gastric cancer cell line ***:We used fluorescence activated cell sorting(FACS) to sort SP cells in the human gastric carcinoma cell line MKN-45(cells labeled with Hoechst 33342) and then characterized the cancer stem-like properties of SP ***:This study found that the SP cells had higher clone formation efficiency than major population(MP) *** stemness-related gene expression profiles,including OCT-4,SOX-2,naNOG,CD44,and adenosine triphosphate(ATP)-binding cassette transporters gene ABCG2,were tested in SP and MP cells using quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Western blot was used to show the difference of protein expression between SP and MP *** results show that there was significantly higher protein expression in SP cells than in MP *** inoculated into non-obese diabetic/severe combined immunodeficiency(NOD/SCID) mice,SP cells show higher tumorigenesis tendency than MP ***:These results indicate that SP cells possess cancer stem cell properties and prove that SP cells from MKN-45 are gastric cancer stem-like cells.

The [-2]proPSA （p2PSA） and its derivatives, the p2PSA-to-free PSA ratio （%p2PSA）, and the Prostate Health Index （PHI） have greatly improved discrimination between men with and without prostate cancer （PCa） in prostate biopsies. However, little is known about their performance in cases where a digital rectal examination （DRE） and transrectal ultrasonography （TRUS） are negative. A prospective cohort of 261 consecutive patients in China with negative DRE and TRUS were recruited and underwent prostate biopsies. A serum sample had collected before the biopsy was used to measure various PSA derivatives, including total prostate-specific antigen （tPSA）, free PSA, and p2PSA. For each patient, the free-to-total PSA ratio （%fPSA）, PSA density （PSAD）, p2PSA-to-free PSA ratio （%p2PSA）, and PHI were calculated. Discriminative performance was assessed using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve （AUC） and the biopsy rate at 91% sensitivity. The AUC scores within the entire cohort with respect to age, tPSA, %fPSA, PSAD, p2PSA, %p2PSA, and PHI were 0.598, 0.751, 0.646, 0.789, 0.814, 0.808, and 0.853, respectively. PHI was the best predictor of prostate biopsy results, especially in patients with a tPSA of 10.1-20 ng ml-1. Compared with other markers, at a sensitivity of 91%, PHI was the most useful for determining which men did not need to undergo biopsy, thereby avoiding unnecessary procedures. The use of PHI could improve the accuracy of PCa detection by predicting prostate biopsy outcomes among men with a negative DRE and TRUS in China.

目的探讨经导管门静脉栓塞(PVE)诱导肝叶代偿性增生临床应用的可行性、安全性、有效性。方法对28例手术不能切除,但门静脉内无瘤栓的晚期肝癌患者,经导管行门静脉右支栓塞。PVE术前、后用CT测量左侧肝叶的体积,并测量栓塞前后的门静脉压力,监测肝功能和凝血功能。结果所有患者均成功行门静脉右支栓塞,其中1例PVE后顺利实行右肝切除术。PVE术前左侧肝叶的体积为(461.5±108.2)cm3,术后2、4、8周分别为(608.5±135.7)cm3、(660.2±133.8)cm3、(678.0±132.7)cm3,分别比术前增加(33.5±22.1)%、(45.4±23.8)%、(49.5±24.0)%;术前左侧肝叶占整个肝脏的体积百分比为(18.4±5.1)%,术后2、4、8周分别为(24.2±5.9)%、(26.3±5.8)%、(27.0±6.1)%。术后2周较术前体积增大差异有统计学意义(F=37.810,P0.05)。栓塞前门静脉压力为(17.8±2.9)cmH2O(1cmH2O=0.098kPa),PVE后为(18.3±2.9)cmH2O,栓塞前后差异有统计学意义(t=-14.810,P<0.05),但均在正常值范围内,未出现门静脉高压,肝功能损害轻,无并发症出现。结论经导管门静脉栓塞诱导肝叶代偿性增生在临床上的应用是可行的、安全的、有效的,可增加手术切除率,提高手术切除的安全性。

Discovery of pulsars is one of the main goals for large radio *** Five-hundredmeter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST),that incorporates an L-band 19-beam receiver with a system temperature of about 20 K,is the most sensitive radio telescope utilized for discovering *** designed the snapshot observation mode for a FAST key science project,the Galactic Plane Pulsar Snapshot(GPPS)survey,in which every four nearby pointings can observe a cover of a sky patch of 0.1575 square degrees through beam-switching of the L-band 19-beam *** integration time for each pointing is 300 seconds so that the GPPS observations for a cover can be made in 21 *** goal of the GPPS survey is to discover pulsars within the Galactic latitude of±10∘from the Galactic plane,and the highest priority is given to the inner Galaxy within±5∘.Up to now,the GPPS survey has discovered 201 pulsars,including currently the faintest pulsars which cannot be detected by other telescopes,pulsars with extremely high dispersion measures(DMs)which challenge the currently widely used models for the Galactic electron density distribution,pulsars coincident with supernova remnants,40 millisecond pulsars,16 binary pulsars,some nulling and mode-changing pulsars and rotating radio transients(RRATs).The follow-up observations for confirmation of new pulsars have polarization-signals recorded for polarization profiles of the ***-detection of previously known pulsars in the survey data also leads to significant improvements in parameters for 64 *** GPPS survey discoveries are published and will be updated at http://***/GPPS/.

Neutron resonance imaging(NRI)has recently emerged as an appealing technique for neutron *** complexity surpasses that of conventional transmission imaging,as it requires a high demand for both a neutron source and ***,the progression of NRI technology has been sluggish since its inception in the 1980s,particularly considering the limited studies analyzing the neutron energy range above *** white neutron source(Back-n)at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)provides favorable beam conditions for the development of the NRI technique over a wide neutron energy range from eV to ***-sensitive microchannel plates(MCP)have emerged as a cutting-edge tool in the field of neutron detection owing to their high temporal and spatial resolutions,high detection efficiency,and low *** this study,we report the development of a 10B-doped MCP detector,along with its associated electronics,data processing system,and NRI experiments at the *** heavy elements such as gold,silver,tungsten,and indium can be easily identified in the transmission images by their characteristic resonance peaks in the 1–100 eV energy range;the more difficult medium-weight elements such as iron,copper,and aluminum with resonance peaks in the 1–100 keV energy range can also be *** particular,results in the neutron energy range of dozens of keV(Aluminum)are reported here for the first time.
