A porous Pb foam was fabricated electroche- mically at a copper substrate and then used as the cathode for the electroreduction of COE. The surface morphology and composition of the porous Pb electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction. The honeycomb-like porous structure was composed of needle-like Pb deposits. Cyclic voltammetry studies demonstrated that the porous Pb electrode had better electrocatalytic performance for the formation of formic acid from CO2 compared with a Pb plate electrode. The increase in current density was due to the large surface area of the porous Pb electrode, which provides more active sites on the electrode surface. The improved formic acid selectivity was due to the morphol- ogy of the roughened surface, which contains significantly more low-coordination sites which are more active for CO2 reduction. The highest current efficiency for formic acid was 96.8% at - 1.7 V versus saturated calomel electrode at 5℃. This porous Pb electrode with good catalytic abilities represents a new 3D porous material with applications for the electroreduction of CO2.

BACKGROUND The Helicobacter pylori(***)eradication rate is decreasing in the general population of *** To evaluate the *** eradication status in real-world clinical practice and to explore factors related to eradication *** Patients with *** infection who were treated with standard 14-d quadruple therapy and received a test of cure at a provincial medical institution between June 2018 and May 2019 were *** and clinical data were *** rates were calculated and compared between regimens and *** analysis was performed to identify predictors of eradication *** Of 2610 patients enrolled,eradication was successful in 1999(76.6%)***-containing quadruple regimens showed a higher eradication rate than other quadruple therapy regimens(83.0%vs 69.0%,P<0.001).The quadruple therapy containing amoxicillin plus clarithromycin achieved the highest eradication rate(83.5%).Primary therapy had a higher eradication rate than rescue therapy(78.3%vs 66.5%,P<0.001).In rescue therapy,the amoxicillinand furazolidone-containing regimens achieved the highest eradication rate(80.8%).Esomeprazole-containing regimens showed a higher eradication rate than those containing other proton pump inhibitors(81.8%vs 74.9%,P=0.001).Multivariate regression analysis found that older age,prior therapy,and use of omeprazole or pantoprazole were associated with an increased risk of eradication CONCLUSION The total eradication rate is 76.6%.Amoxicillin-containing regimens are superior to other ***,prior therapy,and use of omeprazole or pantoprazole are independent risk factors for eradication failure.

AIM:To explore the regulator of G-protein signaling 5 (RGS5) expression in gastric carcinoma and its association with differentiation and microvascular density (MVD).METHODS:Expression of RGS5 and CD34 were examined in 76 cases of gastric carcinoma,including 22 cases with lymph node metastasis and 54 cases without lymph node metastasis determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC).MVD was assessed using CD34 monoclonal *** presence of RGS5 and CD34 was analyzed by IHC using the Envision ***:The RGS5 expression in gastric carcinoma was positively correlated with the differentiation of the tumor (r=0.345,P 0.05).The average MVD in the group with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that in the group without lymph node metastasis (P < 0.05).RGS5 expression was negatively correlated with the average MVD (P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:RGS5 expression level in gastric carcinoma is associated with the differentiation and MVD of the tumor,and may be used as an important parameter for determining the prognosis of gastric carcinoma patients.

Background Laser in situ keratomileusis （LASIK） has become an efficient and commonly performed procedure to reduce refractive errors. In order to further increase the postoperative visual quality, the wavefront-guided refractive surgery has been a research hotspot in customized surgery. This study was conducted to compare the visual acuity, higher-order aberration, and contrast sensitivity of wavefront-guided LASIK with iris-registration and conventional LASIK. Methods Two hundred and eleven myopic eyes of 109 patients were enrolled in this prospective study and randomly divided into two groups： the wavefront-guided LASIK （wg LASIK） group （94 eyes） and conventional LASIK group （117 eyes）. A Wavescan Wavefront aberrometer was used to analyze Zernike coefficients and the root-mean-square （RMS） of higher order aberrations with 6.0 mm pupil size, and Optec 6500 visual function instrument was used to measure contrast sensitivity （CS） under 5 spatial frequencies before and after surgery in both groups.Results The uncorrected visual acuity （UCVA） and the mean spherical equivalent （SE） in wg LASIK group were significantly better than those in conventional LASIK （UCVA, z=2.339, P=0.019; SE, t=2.838, P=0.005） at 3 months after surgery. Moreover, the increase in Z3^-3, Z3^1, Z3^3, Z4^0, Z5^-1, Z5^1 Z5^-5 and Z6^-6 in wg LASIK group was statistically smaller than that in conventional LASIK group （P〈0.05）. In wg LASIK group, eyes with a higher amount of the preoperative RMS of the higher order aberrations （RMSh≥0.30μm） showed a statistically lower increase （13.5%） than those in conventional LASIK group at 3 months after surgery （33.3%）（P=0.004）. And the values of 4th order spherical aberration （4thSA） and the root mean square of 6th order aberration （RMS6） in wg LASIK group were significantly lower than those in conventional group in eyes which had higher preoperative astigmatism （≥1.0D）（4thSA, P=0.03; RMS6, P=0.02）.
