Liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using end-to-end physical model-driven network

With the development of artificial intelligence,neural network provides unique opportunities for holography,such as high fidelity and dynamic *** to obtain real 3D scene and generate high fidelity hologram in real time is an urgent ***,we propose a liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using an end-to-end physical model-driven network(EEPMD-Net).As the core component of the liquid camera,the first 10 mm large aperture electrowetting-based liquid lens is proposed by using specially fabricated *** design of the liquid camera ensures that the multi-layers of the real 3D scene can be obtained quickly and with great imaging *** EEPMD-Net takes the information of real 3D scene as the input,and uses two new structures of encoder and decoder networks to realize low-noise phase *** comparing the intensity information between the reconstructed image after depth fusion and the target scene,the composite loss function is constructed for phase optimization,and the high-fidelity training of hologram with true depth of the 3D scene is realized for the first *** holographic camera achieves the high-fidelity and fast generation of the hologram of the real 3D scene,and the reconstructed experiment proves that the holographic image has the advantage of low *** proposed holographic camera is unique and can be used in 3D display,measurement,encryption and other fields.

Comparison of drug eluting stents with bare metal stents in daily practice for bifurcation lesions in Chinese patients

Background Recently, numerous randomized and controlled trials have demonstrated great advantages of drug eluting stents （DES） with respect to significant reduction of restenosis and recurrence of symptoms and improvement of clinical outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. Little is known about the comparative effects between DES and bare metal stents （BMS） for bifurcation angioplasty in the Chinese population. We compared the inpatient and 7-month follow-up outcomes between DES and BMS for the treatment of bifurcation lesions. Methods From April 2004 to October 2005, 291 Chinese patients [85.9% male, mean age （57.8± 10.4） years] underwent DES （387 lesions） and/or BMS （297 lesions） implantation for bifurcation lesions. Clinical and angiographic follow-up was performed at 7 months. Results Compared with BMS group, patients in DES group had significantly lower rates of restenosis at main branch （9.5% vs 28.7%, P 〈 0.001） or side branch （14.5% vs 37.0%, P 〈 0.001） and major adverse cardiac events （MACE）（14.0% vs 26.3%, P = 0.000）. The occurrence rate of late in-stent thrombosis did not differ between the two groups in both main （0.8% vs 0, P = 0.224） and side branches （1.4% vs 0, P =0.198）. Target lesion revascularization （TLR） was less frequent in DES group for main branch （8.3% vs 21.3%, P 〈 0.001） and for side branch （7.6% vs 23.5%, P 〈 0.001）. Multivariate regression analysis revealed that total stent length （OR = 1.029, P = 0.01）, postprocedural in-stent minimum lumen diameter （OR = 0.476, P = 0.03） and stent type （OR = 3.988, P = 0.0001） were independent predictors of TLR for main branch. Prior history of coronary intervention （OR = 2.424, P =0.041）, angulated lesion （OR = 2.337, P = 0.033）, postdilation （OR = 0.267, P = 0.035） and stent type （DES vs BMS, OR = 5.459, P = 0.000） were independent predictors of TLR for side branch. The extension of Minimum Spanning Tree(MST) problem is an NP hard problem which does not exit a polynomial time algorithm. In this paper, a fast optimization method on MST problem——the Gradient Gene Algorithm is introduced. Compared with other evolutionary algorithms on MST problem, it is more advanced: firstly, very simple and easy to realize; then, efficient and accurate; finally general on other combination optimization problems.

Is adjunctive balloon postdilatation necessary with drug-eluting stents？ One center experience in Chinese patients

Background With the advent of drug-eluting stents （DES） and much lower rates of target vessel revascularization （TVR）, whether adjunctive balloon postdilatation can further optimize outcome is still unknown. The present study was to compare the outcomes of postdilatation with un-postdilatation following deployment of DES. Methods From April 2004 to September 2006, 6479 consecutive Chinese patients who underwent DES implantation, including 1769 with postdilatation （1454 male, （57.9 ± 10.8） years old） and 4710 without postdilatation （3819 male, （57.9 ± 10.6） years old） were analyzed. Clinical and angiographic follow-up was performed at 7 months. Results Compared with the un-postdilatation group, the postdilatation group had more complex lesions and larger relevant vessel diameter （RVD）. In the postdilatation group, in-stent residual restenosis was significantly improved right after the procedure （（16.80±5.88）% vs （19.60±6.07）%; P=0.000）. There was no statistical difference in the major adverse cardiac events （MACE） rate between the groups （2.9% vs 3.3%; P=0.420）, and there were also no statistical differences in death, acute myocardial infarction （AMI） and target lesion revascularization （TLR） rates in the two groups （0.1% vs 0.4%, P=0.127; 1.7% vs 1.3%, P=0.229; and 1.5% vs 2.0%, P=0.206, respectively）. The in-stent thrombosis rate was almost the same in both groups （0.5% vs 0.5%; P=1.000）. Seven months angiographic follow-up results showed that both in-stent and in-segment restenosis rates were lower in the postdilatation group （8.8% vs 15.6%, P=0.000; and 10.5% vs 17.3%, P=0.000）, and so were instent and in-segment late loss （（0.32±0.12） mm vs （0.49±0.13） mm, P=0.000; and （0.24±0.08） mm vs （0.36±0.09） mm, P=0.001 ）. Conclusion Postdilatation after DES deployment was safe and could reduce the restenosis rate, especially for more complex lesions.

MET gene alterations in lung cancer patients mainly include exon 14 skipping and gene amplification,which are the key therapeutic targets and drive resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKls).1 However,the structural variants of MET,such as MET fusions,are much rarer(0.26%),as reported in a Chinese non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cohort.2 Several recurrent MET fusions,such as KIF5B-MET and HLADRB1-MET,were reported as oncogenic drivers and showed favorable responses to crizotinib.

Numerical simulation of melt flow and temperature field during DC casting 2024 aluminium alloy under different casting conditions

Casting speed,casting temperature and secondary cooling water flow rate are the main process parameters affecting the DC casting *** parameters significantly influence the flow and temperature fields during casting,which are crucial for the quality of the ingot and can determine the success or failure of the casting *** simulation,with the advantages of low cost,rapid execution,and visualized results,is an important method to study and optimize the DC casting *** the present work,a simulation model of DC casting 2024 aluminum alloy was established,and the reliability of the model was ***,the influence of casting parameters on flow field and temperature field was studied in detail by numerical simulation *** show that with the increase of casting speed,the melt flow becomes faster,the depths of slurry zone and mushy zone increase,and the variation of slurry zone depth is greater than that of mushy *** an increase in casting temperature,the melt flow rate increases,the depth of the slurry zone becomes shallower,and the depth of the mushy zone experiences only minor *** simulation results further indicate that the increase of the flow rate of the secondary cooling water slightly reduces the depths of both slurry and mushy zone.

Endovascular stent-grafts for acute and chronic type B aortic dissection： comparison of clinical outcomes

Background Endovascular stent-graff treatment has emerged as an alternative for patients with type B aortic dissection （AD）, either at acute or chronic phase, in selected patients. This study aimed to investigate the results of endovascular stent-graft repair for acute and chronic type BAD. Methods From May 2002 to July 2007, 67 patients with type BAD were treated by endovascular stent-graft placement. There were 32 patients in the acute phase （AAD group） and 35 patients in the chronic phase （CAD group）. The patients were followed up from 1 to 65 months （average, 17_＋16 months）. The immediate and follow-up clinical outcomes were documented and compared between the 2 groups. Results Placement of endovascular stent-grafts across the primary entry tears was technically successful in all 67 patients. Compared with patients in the CAD group, those in the AAD group had higher percentages of pleural effusion （15.6% vs 0, P=-0.02） and visceral/leg ischemia （21.9% vs 2.9%, P=0.02）. Procedure related complications, including endoleak and post-implantation syndrome occurred more frequently in AAD group than in CAD group （21.9% vs 2.9% and 31.3% vs 8.6%, respectively; P=0.02 and P=0.02）. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed no significant difference in survival rate at 4 years between the 2 groups （86.4% vs 92.3%, P=0.42 by Log-rank test）. But the 4-year event-free survival rate was higher in patients with chronic dissection than in patients with acute dissection （96.2% vs 73.9%; P=0.02 by Log-rank test）. Conclusions Endovascular repair with stent-graff was safe and effective for the treatment of both acute and chronic type BAD. However, both immediate and long term major complications occurred more frequently in patients with acute dissection than in those with chronic dissection.

Simple preparation of C(CS)/g-C_(3)N_(4)/Co carbon aerogel and its catalytic performance for ammonium perchlorate

Biomass chitosan(CS)was used as a template,graphitic phase carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))with high nitrogen content and certain catalytic activity was used as a dopant,and nano-transition metal cobalt(Co)was used as a catalytic center *** carbon aerogel(C(CS)/g-C_(3)N_(4)/Co)with a three-dimensional network-like structure was prepared by assembling the three materials through experimental operations such as freeze-drying and high-temperature *** was demonstrated by scanning and transmission characterization that the CS in the carbon aerogel could provide more active sites for the cobalt nanoparticles,and the doping of graphite-phase carbon nitride as a template dispersed the cobalt nanoparticles and changed the conductivity of the *** investigate the catalytic effect of carbon aerogel on ammonium perchlorate(AP),it was investigated by differential thermal analyzer and TG thermal *** carbon aerogel was very effective in catalyzing AP,and the 10 wt% content of the catalyst reduced the AP pyrolysis peak from 703.9 to 595.5 *** to further investigate the synergistic effect of the three materials,further carbon aerogels such as C(CS)/Co,g-C_(3)N_(4)/Co were prepared and applied to catalyze AP,and the same ratio reduced the AP pyrolysis peak by 98.1℃ and 97.7℃.This result indicates a synergistic effect of the assembly of the three materials.

Long-term follow-up of crush versus no crush technique for coronary artery bifurcation lesions

Background Lesions at coronary bifurcations always are a big challenge for interventionists even with the advent of drug eluting stents （DES）. Even as more clinical trials are published, operators still can not confirm that one strategy is more efficient than another. Selection of patients and short term follow-up contribute to the difficulty in comparing strategies. Methods From April 2004 to April 2008, 505 consecutive Chinese patients underwent DES implantation for true bifurcation lesions; including 258 using crush strategy （213 male, （56.7＋10.8） years old） and 247 using no crush strategy （206 male, （58.1＋10.1） years old） were analyzed. Results The follow-up period ranged from 237 to 1223 days, average （537＋340） days for the crush group and （538＋351） days for the no crush group. There was no significant difference of major adverse cardiac events （MACE） rate between the two groups （10.1% vs 12.1%; P=-0.481）, nor in cardiac death, nonfatal myocardial infarction （MI） or in the target vessel revascularization （TVR）（0.4% vs 1.6%; P=0.207, 2.7% vs 2.8; P=1.000 and 7.0% vs 7.7%; P=0.865）. The stent thrombosis rate was similar in the two groups （1.6% vs 2.0%; P=0.409）, late and very late stent thrombosis in both groups were very low （0.4% vs 0.4%; P=-1.000）. Seven-month angiographic follow-up showed no significant difference of the restenosis rate between the two groups （11.0% vs 13.5%; P=0.786）. During the follow-up, cardiac death, nonfatal MI, TVR and ST free survival rate showed no significant difference between the two groups. The only variant identified as a predictor of MACE was percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） in the first two years, which accounted for 47% of patients of all cases in four years. Conclusion Crush technique showed similar long-term clinical effect compared with other two DES techniques for coronary bifurcation lesions, the surgeons＇ skills are very important for reducing clinical events.
