A graph is called s-regular if its automorphism group acts regularly on the set of its s-arcs. In this paper, the s-regular cyclic or elementary abelian coverings of the Petersen graph for each s ≥ 1 are classified when the fibre-preserving automorphism groups act *** an application of these results, all s-regular cubic graphs of order 10p or 10p2 are also classified for each s ≥ 1 and each prime p, of which the proof depends on the classification of finite simple groups.

Objective:The purpose of the study was to identify the best sequence of therapy beginning with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI)as the first-line therapy for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma(mRCC)in terms of overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),and rates of discontinuation and adverse effects during the treatment ***:This is a retrospective,nationwide multicenter study of patients with mRCC after diagnosis at 10 different tertiary medical centers in Korea from January 1992 to December *** focused on patients at either“favorable”or“intermediate”risk according to the International mRCC Database Consortium criteria,and they were followed up(median 335 days).Finally,a total of 1409 patients were selected as the study *** generated a Cox proportional hazard model adjusted for covariates,and the different therapy schemes were statistically tested in terms of OS as well as *** addition,frequencies of discontinuation and adverse events were compared among the therapy ***:Of the primary patterns of treatment sequences(24 sequences),“sunitinib epazopanib”and“sunitinibeeverolimuseimmunotherapy”showed the most beneficial results in both OS and PFS with significantly lower hazards than“sunitinib”,which is the most commonly treated agent in *** that the“TKIeTKI”structure showed relatively higher discontinuation rates with higher adverse effects,the overall beneficial sequence would be“sunitinibeeverolimuseimmunotherapy”.Conclusion:Among several sequential therapy starting with TKIs,“sunitinibeeverolimuse immunotherapy”was found to be the best scheme for mRCC patients with“favorable”or“intermediate”risks.

Abstract Two 2-cell embeddings l ： X → S and 3 ： X → S of a connected graph X into a closed orientable surface S are congruent if there are an orientation-preserving surface homeomorphism h on S and a graph automorphism γ of X such that γh = γj. A 2-cell embedding l ： X → S of a graph X into a closed orientable surface S is described combinatorially by a pair （X; p） called a map, where p is a product of disjoint cycle permutations each of which is the permutation of the darts of X initiated at the same vertex following the orientation of S. The mirror image of a map （X; p） is the map （X; p- 1）, and one of the corresponding embeddings is called the mirror image of the other. A 2-cell embedding of X is reflexible if it is congruent to its mirror image. Mull et al. [Proc Amer Math Soc, 1988, 103： 321-330] developed an approach for enumerating the congruence classes of 2-cell embeddings of graphs into closed orientable surfaces. In this paper we introduce a method for enumerating the congruence classes of reflexible 2-cell embeddings of graphs into closed orientable surfaces, and apply it to the complete graphs, the bouquets of circles, the dipoles and the wheel graphs to count their congruence classes of reflexible or nonreflexible （called chiral） embeddings.

This paper proposes a checkpoint rollback strategy for real-time systems with double modular *** built-in fault-detection and spare processors,our scheme is able to recover from both transient and permanent *** comparisons are conducted at each ***,the states stored in two consecutive checkpoints of one processor are compared for checking integrity of the *** states of two processors are also compared for detecting faults and the system rolls back to the previous checkpoint whenever required by logic of the proposed scheme.A Markov model is induced by the fault recovery scheme and analyzed to provide the probability of task completion within its *** optimal number of checkpoints is selected so as to maximize the probability of task completion.

The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of Cnidium monnieri fruit(CM) extracts on pulmonary inflammation induced in mice by cigarette smoke condensate(CSC) and lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Pulmonary inflammation was induced by intratracheal instillation of LPS and CSC five times within 12 days. CM extract was administered orally at a dose of 50 or 200 mg·kg-1. The number of inflammatory cells in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was counted using a fluorescence activated cell sorter. Inflammatory mediator levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The administration of LPS and CSC exacerbated airway hyper-responsiveness(AHR) and induced an accumulation of inflammatory cells and mediators, and led to histological changes. however, these responses are modulated by treatment with CM, and the treatment with CM extract produces similar or more extensive results than the treatment with cyclosporin A(CSA). CM extract may have an inhibitory effect on pulmonary inflammation related with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The human fingertip consists of a fingerprint with many micro-grating *** main roles of the fingerprint could be divided into two purposes,namely,the enhancement of the frictional force and the effective transmittance of the *** this study,we present the fingerprint-inspired end-effector that has not only admirable frictional force but also electric *** end-effector is composed of fluorocarbon rubber,one of the famous materials to achieve high frictional force and *** various experiments,the novel performance of micro structured fluorocarbon rubber end-effector(MSFE)is characterized by comparing with a macroscale patterned sample(MPS),which has been already used in real industrial *** results are analyzed ***,as feasible applications,we suggest two applications based on the role of the *** is the conductive astronaut glove with high frictional force,and the other one is a non-slip pad for the next-generation glass transfer *** these experiments,we successfully observe the enhanced system performance and confirm the possibility of using the MSFE as feasible *** believe that the MSFE could be a useful and powerful alternative as an end-effector,not only in the aerospace industry but also in display manufacturing processes.

Dysphagia in patients with isolated pontine infarction

Little is known about dysphagia after pontine infarction. In this study, we evaluated the incidence of dysphagia after isolated pontine infarction and identified the predictive factors for the occurrence of dysphagia. A total of 146 patients were included in this study. All patients underwent clinical testing for dysphagia within 1 day after admission and at the time of discharge. We compared the incidence of dysphagia between patients with unilateral pontine infarction and those with bilateral pontine infarction. To evaluate the functional status of patients, we investigated their initial modified Rankin Scale（mRS） score and initial National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale（NIHSS） score within 1 day of admission. Of 146 patients, 50（34.2%） had dysphagia initially within 1 day after admission. At the second evaluation at the time of discharge, dysphagia was diagnosed in 24 patients（16.4%）. Patients with bilateral pontine infarction were more likely to present with dysphagia. In addition, clinical severity（in terms of mRS and NIHSS scores） was identified as a predictor of dysphagia in patients with cerebral infarction（multiple binary logistic regression analysis, mRS： P = 0.011, NIHSS： P = 0.004）. Dysphagia frequently occurs in patients with isolated pontine infarction. Clinicians should pay particular attention to the occurrence of dysphagia, especially in patients with bilateral pontine infarction or high functional disability.
