Battery-grade lithium carbonate(li_(2)CO_(3))with a purity of higher than 99.5 wt%is of great importance as a high value-added lithium ***,influences of different reaction systems and process control on product purity remain ***,a membrane dispersion microreactor was used to enhance the mass transfer of preparation and purification processes in homogeneous and heterogeneous *** systems of Na_(2)CO_(3)–liCl,NH_(4)HCO_(3)–liCl,and NH_(3)·H_(2)O−CO_(2)−liCl,CO_(2)purification based on carbonation and decomposition were *** li_(2)CO_(3)purity was increased by the improvement of mixing *** carbonation time was reduced by 62.5%and 58.3%for the NH_(3)·H_(2)O−CO_(2)and CO_(2)purification systems,*** the two ammonia-based systems,li_(2)CO_(3)particles with a purity of 99.7–99.8 wt%were one-step prepared with a size of 3–5μm,which also met the requirement of the battery-grade *** purity was further increased to 99.9 wt%by CO_(2)purification and liHCO_(3)*** investigation could provide a feasible alternative for the controllable preparation of battery-grade li_(2)CO_(3)in one or multiple steps.

Fabricating low-strain and fast-charging silicon-carbon composite anodes is highly desired but remains a huge challenge for lithium-ion ***,we report a unique silicon-carbon composite fabricated by uniformly dis-persing amorphous Si nanodots(SiNDs)in carbon nanospheres(SiNDs/C)that are welded on the wall of the macroporous carbon framework(MPCF)by vertical graphene(VG),labeled as MPCF@VG@SiNDs/*** high dispersity and amor-phous features of ultrasmall SiNDs(~0.7 nm),the flexible and directed electron/li+transport channels of VG,and the MPCF impart the MPCF@VG@SiNDs/C more lithium storage sites,rapid li+transport path,and unique low-strain property during li+***,the MPCF@VG@SiNDs/C exhibits high cycle stability(1301.4 mAh g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1) after 1000 cycles without apparent decay)and high rate capacity(910.3 mAh g^(-1),20 A g^(-1))in half cells based on industrial electrode *** assembled pouch full cell delivers a high energy density(1694.0 Wh l^(-1);602.8 Wh kg^(-1))and an excellent fast-charging capability(498.5 Wh kg^(-1),charging for 16.8 min at 3 C).This study opens new possibilities for preparing advanced silicon-carbon com-posite anodes for practical applications.

Directed energy deposition-arc(DED-Arc)technology has the advantages of simple equipment,low manufacturing cost and high deposition rate,while the use of DED-Arc has problems of microstructure inhomogeneity,position dependence of macroscopic mechanical properties and ***,it is necessary to carry out a subsequent heat treatment to improve its microstructure uniformity,mechanical properties and *** this investigation,the DED-Arc 15-layer NiTi alloy thin-walled parts with the solution treatment at different process parameters were studied to analyze the effects of solution heat treatment on microstructure,phase composition,phase transformation,microhardness,tensile and *** temperature range of solution treatment is 800-1050℃,and the treatment time range is 1-5.5 *** results show that after solution treatment at 800℃/1 h,the content of precipitated phase decreases,the grain is refined,the microhardness increases,and the mechanical properties in the 0°direction are *** strain recovery rate after 10 tensile cycles has increased from 37.13%(as-built)to 49.25%(solid solution treatment).This research provides an effective post treatment method for high-performance DED-Arc NiTi shape memory alloys.

Additive manufacturing technology based on laser powder bed fusion(lPBF)offers a novel approach for fabricating bulk metallic glass(BMG)products without restriction in size and ***,the BMGs prepared by lPBF usually suffered from less plasticity and poorer fracture toughness as compared to their cast counterparts due to partial crystallization in heat-affected zones(HAZs).Since crystallization in HAZs is hard to avoid completely in lPBF BMGs,it is desirable to design a suitable alloy system,in which only ductile crystalline phase,instead of brittle intermetallics,is formed in *** unique structure could effectively increase the toughness/plasticity of the lPBF *** achieve this goal,a quaternary BMG system with a composition of Zr_(47.5)Cu_(45.5)Al_(5)Co_(2)is adopted and subjected to *** is found that nearly a single phase of B_(2)-ZrCu is precipitated in HAZs,while a fully amorphous phase is formed in molten pools(MPs).This B_(2)phase reinforced BMG composite exhibits excellent mechanical properties with enhanced plasticity and ***,it is easy to modulate the mechanical properties by altering the amount of the B_(2)phase via adjusting the laser energy ***,the best combination of strength,plasticity,and notch toughness is obtained in the BMG composite containing 27.4%B_(2)phase and 72.6%amorphous phase,which exhibits yield strength(σ_(s))of 1423 MPa,plastic strain(ε_(p))of 4.65%,and notch toughness(K_(q))of 53.9 MPa m 1/***,a notable strain-hardening is also *** improvement of plasticity/toughness and appearance of strain-hardening behavior are mainly due to the martensite phase transformation from the B_(2)phase to the Cm phase during plastic deformation(i.e.,the phase transformation-induced plasticity effect).The current work provides a guide for making advanced BMGs and BMG composites by additive manufacturing.

The revelation of thermal energy exchange mechanism of human body is challenging yet worthwhile,because it can clearly explain the changes in human symptoms and health ***,the heat transfer of the skin is significant because the skin is the foremost organ for the energy exchange between the human body and the *** order to diagnose the physiological conditions of human skin without causing any damage,it is necessary to use a non-invasive measurement technique by means of a conformal flexible *** harmonic method can minimize the thermal-induced injury to the skin due to its low heat generating properties.A novel type of computational theory assessing skin thermal conductivity,blood perfusion rate of capillaries in the dermis,and superficial subcutaneous tissues was formed by combining the multi-medium thermal diffusion model and the bio-thermal model(Pennes equation).The skins of the hand back of six healthy subjects were *** was found that the results revealed no consistent changes in thermal conductivity were observed across genders and *** measured blood perfusion rates were within the range of human capillary *** was found that female subjects had a higher perfusion rate range(0.0058-0.0061 s^(-1))than male subjects(0.0032-0.0049 s^(-1)),which is consistent with invasive medical studies about the gender difference in blood flow rates and stimulated effects in relaxation situations.

In this editorial,we comment on an article published in the recent issue of the World Journal of *** disease(CeD)is a disease occurring in genetically susceptible individuals,which is mainly characterized by gluten intolerance in the small intestine and clinical symptoms such as abdominal pain,diarrhea,and ***,patients often need a lifelong gluten-free diet,which greatly affects the quality of life and expenses of *** gold standard for diagnosis is intestinal mucosal biopsy,combined with serological and genetic *** present,the lack of safe,effective,and satisfactory drugs for CeD is mainly due to the complexity of its pathogenesis,and it is difficult to find a perfect target to solve the multi-level needs of *** this editorial,we mainly review the pathological mechanism of CeD and describe the current experimental and improved drugs for various pathological aspects.

It is well known that single-atom catalysts(SACs)have become a hot topic in the field of catalysis due to their advantages such as 100% metal atom utilization efficiency,high catalytic activity and selectivity compared with conventional catalysts and nanocatalysts. However, the isolated metal atoms on SACs have thermodynamic instability and tend to agglomerate, which limit their catalytic ***, it is of great significance to synthesize stable and high-loading single-atom catalysts(HlSACs). In this paper,we review the research progress of HlSACs from two aspects:design and application. Firstly, we comprehensively introduce the synthesis strategies of HlSACs, namely, top-down and bottom-up methods. Secondly, we overview the application status of HlSACs in three fields: electrocatalysis, thermal catalysis and photocatalysis. Finally, we summarize the development prospects and challenges of HlSACs.

Prompt radiation emitted during accelerator operation poses a significant health risk,necessitating a thorough search and securing of hazardous areas prior to ***,manual sweep methods are ***,the limitations of manual sweeps have become increasingly evident with the implementation of large-scale *** leveraging advancements in machine vision technology,the automatic identification of stranded personnel in controlled areas through camera imagery presents a viable solution for efficient search and *** the criticality of personal safety for stranded individuals,search and security processes must be sufficiently *** ensure comprehensive coverage,180°camera groups were strategically positioned on both sides of the accelerator tunnel to eliminate blind spots within the monitoring *** YOlOV8 network model was modified to enable the detection of small targets,such as hands and feet,as well as larger targets formed by individuals near the ***,the system incorporates a pedestrian recognition model that detects human body parts,and an information fusion strategy is used to integrate the detected head,hands,and feet with the identified pedestrians as a cohesive *** strategy enhanced the capability of the model to identify pedestrians obstructed by equipment,resulting in a notable improvement in the recall ***,recall rates of 0.915 and 0.82were obtained for Datasets 1 and 2,*** there was a slight decrease in accuracy,it aligned with the intended purpose of the search-and-secure software *** tests conducted within an accelerator tunnel demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach in achieving reliable recognition outcomes.
