To address the scheduling problem involving energy storage systems and uncertain energy,we propose a method based on multi-stage robust optimization.This approach aims to regulate the energy storage system by using a multi-stage robust optimal control method,which helps overcome the limitations of traditional methods in terms of time scale.The goal is to effectively utilize the energy storage power station system to address issues caused by unpredictable variations in environmental energy and fluctuating load throughout the day.To achieve this,a mathematical model is constructed to represent uncertain energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind power.The generalized Benders Decomposition method is then employed to solve the multi-stage objective optimization problem.By decomposing the problem into a series of sub-objectives,the system scale is effectively reduced,and the algorithm’s convergence ability is improved.Compared with other algorithms,the multi-stage robust optimization model has better economy and convergence ability and can be used to guide the power dispatching of uncertain energy and energy storage systems.

The casual discharge of dyes from industrial settings has seriously polluted global water systems.Owing to the abundance of biomass resources,preparing photocatalysts for photocatalytic degradation of dyes is significant;however,it still remains challenging.In this work,a cuprous oxide/copper oxide composite was interpenetrated onto carbon nanosheets of cellulose-based flexible carbon aerogels(Cu_(2)O/CuO@CAx)via a simple freeze-drying-calcination method.The introduction of the carbon aerogel effectively prevents the aggregation of the cuprous oxide/copper oxide composite.In addition,Cu_(2)O/CuO@CA0.2 has a larger specific surface area,stronger charge transfer capacity,and lower recombination rate of photogenerated carriers than copper oxide.Moreover,Cu_(2)O/CuO@CA0.2 exhibited high photocatalytic activity in decomposing methylene blue,with a degradation rate reaching up to 99.09% in 60 min.The active oxidation species in the photocatalytic degradation process were systematically investigated by electron spin resonance characterization and poisoning experiments,among which singlet oxygen played a major role.In conclusion,this work provides an effective method for preparing photocatalysts using biomass resources in combination with different metal oxides.It also promotes the development of photocatalytic degradation of dyes.

Impacts of Migration on Urban Environmental Pollutant Emissions in China: A Comparative Perspective

In recent years,researchers have devoted considerable attention to identifying the causes of urban environmental pollution.To determine whether migrant populations significantly affect urban environments,we examined the relationship between urban environmental pollutant emissions and migrant populations at the prefectural level using data obtained for 90 Chinese cities evidencing net in-migration.By dividing the permanent populations of these cities into natives and migrants in relation to the population structure,we constructed an improved Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population,Affluence and Technology model(STIRPAT)that included not only environmental pollutant emission variables but also variables on the cities’attributes.We subsequently conducted detailed analyses of the results of the models to assess the impacts of natives and migrants on environmental pollutant emissions.The main findings of our study were as follows:1)Migrant populations have significant impacts on environmental emissions both in terms of their size and concentration.Specifically,migrant populations have negative impacts on Air Quality Index(AQI)as well as PM2.5 emissions and positive impacts on emissions of NO2 and CO2.2)The impacts of migrant populations on urban environmental pollutant emissions were 8 to 30 times weaker than that of local populations.3)Urban environmental pollutant emissions in different cities differ significantly according to variations in the industrial structures,public transportation facilities,and population densities.

In our previous work(Meng et al 2020 Phys.Rev.A 101023838),we discover the phenomenon that the quantum entanglement on the driving threshold line remains a constant in a three-mode optomechanical phonon laser system.In this paper,to find the conditions under which the constant boundary entanglement shows up,we explicitly study how this boundary entanglement depends on various parameters through numerical integrations.The results show that the necessary and sufficient condition is a resonant frequency match between the optical frequency difference and the mechanical vibrational frequency,and this constant value is proportional to the multiplication of the square of the optomechanical coupling strength and the resonant driving threshold power.

Vortices,which appear as swirling behaviour of a flow field,are an important phenomenon in fluid dynamics,and the extraction of vortex cores is necessary for the research of vortex evolution in many areas of fluid mechanics.The Liutex method is a milestone in vortex identification and provides a reasonable mathematical definition for a vortex core.Based on this definition,a novel integration-based method is presented,which can reduce the numerical error in the integration process through location optimization.Two typical test cases,the wake vortices of an A320 in the near-ground stage and a helicopter rotor,are examined to show that the proposed method can extract continuous vortex core lines with accuracy and efficiency for vortex parameter study.

Domain name system(DNS),as one of the most critical internet infrastructure,has been abused by various cyber attacks.Current malicious domain detection capabilities are limited by insufficient credible label information,severe class imbalance,and incompact distribution of domain samples in different malicious activities.This paper proposes a malicious domain detection framework named PUMD,which innovatively introduces Positive and Unlabeled(PU)learning solution to solve the problem of insuffcient label information,adopts customized sample weight to improve the impact of class imbalance,and effectively constructs evidence features based on resource overlapping to reduce the intra-class distance of malicious samples.Besides,a feature selection strategy based on permutation importance and binning is proposed to screen the most informative detection features.Finally,we conduct experiments on the open source real DNS traffic dataset provided by QI-ANXIN Technology Group to evaluate the PUMD framework's abil-ity to capture potential command and control(C&C)domains for malicious activities.The experimental results prove that PUMD can achieve the best detection performance under different label frequencies and class imbalance ratios.

With the development of modern sequencing techniques and bioinformatics, genomes that were once thought to be noncoding have been found to encode abundant functional micropeptides(miPs), a kind of small polypeptides. Although miPs are difficult to analyze and identify, a number of studies have begun to focus on them. More and more miPs have been revealed as essential for energy metabolism homeostasis, immune regulation, and tumor growth and development. Many reports have shown that miPs are especially essential for regulating glucose and lipid metabolism and regulating mitochondrial function.MiPs are also involved in the progression of related diseases. This paper reviews the sources and identification of miPs, as well as the functional significance of miPs for metabolism-related diseases, with the aim of revealing their potential clinical applications.

Ferroptosis is a newly discovered form of cell death that is characterized by the accumulation of iron‐dependent lipid peroxidation.Research on ferroptosis has seen exponential growth over the past few years.Tumor cells are strongly dependent on iron for their growth,which makes them develop mechanisms to increase iron uptake and inhibit iron output,thereby completing iron accumulation.Ferroptosis can be induced or inhibited by various stresses through multiple mechanisms,making it stands at the crossroads of stresses related cancer cell fate determination.In this review,we give a brief summary of ferroptosis hallmarks and provide a systematic analysis of the current molecular mechanisms and regulatory networks of diverse stress conditions on ferroptosis.We also discuss the relationships between ferroptosis and cancer therapy responses to further understand potential targets and therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.

Rechargeable aluminum batteries are believed as a promising next-generation energy-storage system due to abundant low-cost Al sources and high volumetric specific capacity.The Al-storage cathodes,however,are plagued by strong electrostatic interaction between host materials and carrier ions,leading to large overpotential and undesired cycling stability as well as sluggish ion diffusion kinetics.Herein,sulfur-linked carbonyl polymer based on perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic dianhydride(PTCDA) as the cathode materials for ABs is proposed,which demonstrates a small voltage polarization(135 mV),a reversible capacity of 110 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) even after 1200 cycles,and rapid Al-storage kinetics.Compared with PTCDA,the sulfide polymer possesses higher working voltage because of its lower LUMO energy level according to theoretical calculation.The ordered carbonyl active sites in sulfide polymer contribute to the maximized material utilization and rapid ion coordination and dissociation,resulting in superior rate capability.Besides,the bridged thioether bonds endow the polysulfide with robust and flexible structure,which inhibits the dissolution of active materials and improves cycling stability.This work implies the importance of ordered arrangement of redox active moieties for organic electrode,which provides the theoretical direction for the structural design of organic materials applied in multivalent-ion batteries.
