In order to analyze and process the large graphs with high cost efficiency,researchers have developed a number of out-of-core graph processing systems in recent years based on just one commodity *** the other hand,with the rapidly growing need of analyzing graphs in the real-world,graph processing systems have to efficiently handle massive concurrent graph processing(CgP)***,due to the inherent design for single graph processing job,existing out-of-core graph processing systems usually incur unnecessary data accesses and severe competition of I/O bandwidth when handling the CgP *** this paper,we propose graphCP,a disk I/O optimized out-of-core graph processing system that efficiently supports the processing of CgP *** proposes a benefit-aware sharing execution model to share the I/O access and processing of graph data among the CgP jobs and adaptively schedule the graph data loading based on the states of vertices,which efficiently overcomes above challenges faced by existing out-of-core graph processing ***,graphCP adopts a dependency-based future-vertex updating model so as to reduce disk I/Os in the future *** addition,graphCP organizes the graph data with a Source-Sorted Sub-Block graph representation for better processing capacity and I/O access *** evaluation results show that graphCP is 20.5×and 8.9×faster than two out-of-core graph processing systems gridgraph and graphZ,and 3.5×and 1.7×faster than two state-of-art concurrent graph processing systems Seraph and graphSO.

Chemical-looping oxidative dehydrogenation(CL-ODH)is a process designed for the conversion of alkanes into olefins through cyclic redox reactions,eliminating the need for gaseous O_(2).In this work,we investigated the use of Ca_(2)mnO_(4)-layered perovskites modified with NaNO_(3) dopants,serving as redox catalysts(also known as oxygen carriers),for the CL-ODH of ethane within a temperature range of 700-780℃.Our findings revealed that the incorporation of NaNO_(3) as a modifier significantly-nhanced the selectivity for-thylene generation from Ca_(2)mnO_(4).At 750℃and a gas hourly space velocity of 1300 h^(-1),we achieved an-thane conversion up to 68.17%,accompanied by a corresponding-thylene yield of 57.39%.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis unveiled that the doping NaNO_(3) onto Ca_(2)mnO_(4) not only played a role in reducing the oxidation state of mn ions but also increased the lattice oxygen content of the redox ***,formation of NaNO_(3) shell on the surface of Ca_(2)mnO_(4) led to a reduction in the concentration of manganese sites and modulated the oxygen-releasing behavior in a step-wise *** modulation contributed significantly to the enhanced selectivity for ethylene of the NaNO_(3)-doped Ca_(2)mnO_(4) *** findings provide compelling evidence for the potential of Ca_(2)mnO_(4)-layered perovskites as promising redox catalysts in the context of CL-ODH reactions.

In exploring persistent infections and malignancies, a distinctive subgroup of CD8^(+) T cells, progenitor exhausted CD8^(+) T(Tpex) cells, has been identified. These Tpex cells are notable for their remarkable self-renewal and rapid proliferation abilities. Recent strides in immunotherapy have demonstrated that Tpex cells expand and differentiate into responsive exhausted CD8^(+) T cells, thus underscoring their critical role in the immunotherapeutic retort. Clinical examinations have further clarified a robust positive correlation between the proportional abundance of Tpex cells and enhanced clinical prognosis. Tpex cells have found noteworthy applications in the formulation of inventive immunotherapeutic approaches against tumors. This review describes the functions of Tpex cells in the tumor milieu, particularly their potential utility in tumor immunotherapy. Precisely directing Tpex cells may be essential to achieving successful outcomes in immunotherapy against tumors.

global climate change can affect tree growth and carbon sink function by influencing plant carbohydrate synthesis and utilization,while elevation can be used as an ideal setting under natural conditions to simulate climate change *** effect of elevation on tree growth may depend on organ ***,the allocation patterns of nonstructural and structural carbohydrates(NSCs and SCs,respectively)in different tree organs and their response to elevation remain *** selected four dominant tree species,Schima superba,Castanopsis eyrei,Castanopsis fargesii and michelia maudiae,along an elevation gradient from 609 to 1,207 m in subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests and analyzed leaf,trunk,and fine root NSCs,carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)concentrations and the relative abundance of *** NSCs increased initially and then decreased,and trunk NSCs increased with increasing ***,root NSCs decreased with increasing *** relative abundance of SCs in leaves and trunks decreased,while the relative abundance of root SCs increased with increasing *** significant correlations between SCs and NSCs in leaves were detected,while there were negative correlations between SCs and NSCs in trunks,roots,and all *** partitioning analysis indicated that plant C/N and C/P were the main predictors of changes in SCs and *** results suggest that tree organs have divergent responses to elevation and that increasing elevation will inhibit the aboveground part growth and enhance the root growth of trees.A tradeoff between the C distribution used for growth and storage was confirmed along the elevation gradient,which is mainly manifested in the"sink"organs of *** results provide insight into tree growth in the context of global climate change scenarios in subtropical forest ecosystems.

The ammonium exceedance discharge from sewage treatment plants has a great risk to the stable operation of subsequent constructed wetlands(CWs).The effects of high ammonium shocks on submerged macrophytes and epiphytic biofilms on the leaves of submerged macrophytes in CWs were rarely mentioned in previous *** this paper,the 16S rRNA sequencing method was used to investigate the variation of the microbial communities in biofilms on the leaves of Vallisneria natans plants while the growth characteristics of *** plants were measured at different initial ammonium *** results demonstrated that the total chlorophyll and soluble sugar synthesis of *** plants decreased by 51.45%and 57.16%,respectively,and malondialdehyde content increased threefold after8 days if the initial NH_(4)^(+)-N concentration was more than 5 mg/*** density,bacterial quantity,dissolved oxygen,and pH increased with high ammonium *** average removal efficiencies of total nitrogen and NH_(4)^(+)-N reached 73.26%and 83.94%,*** heat map and relative abundance analysis represented that the relative abundances of phyla Proteobacteria,Cyanobacteria,and Bacteroidetes *** numbers of autotrophic nitrifiers and heterotrophic nitrification aerobic denitrification(HNAD)bacteria expanded in *** particular,HNAD bacteria of Flavobacterium,Hydrogenophaga,Acidovorax,Acinetobacter,Pseudomonas,Aeromonas,and Azospira had higher abundances than autotrophic nitrifiers because there were organic matters secreted from declining leaves of *** *** analysis of the nitrogen metabolic pathway showed aerobic denitrification was the main nitrogen removal ***,the nitrification and denitrification bacterial communities increased in epiphytic biofilms on submerged macrophytes in constructed wetlands while submerged macrophytes declined under ammonium shock loading.
