Global environmental concern over organic contaminated sites has been progressively conspicuous during the process of urbanization and industrial restructuring.While traditional physical or chemical remediation technologies may significantly destroy the soil structure and function,coupling moderate chemical degradation with microbial remediation becomes a potential way for the green,economic,and efficient remediation of contaminated sites.Hence,this work systematically elucidates why and how to couple chemical technology with microbial remediation,mainly focused on the controllable redox reactions of organic contaminants.The rational design of materials structure,selective generation of reactive oxygen species,and estimation of degradation pathway are described for chemical oxidation.Meanwhile,current progress on efficient and selective reductions of organic contaminants(i.e.,dechlorination,defluorination,-NO_(2) reduction)is introduced.Combined with the microbial remediation of contaminated sites,several consideration factors of how to couple chemical and microbial remediation are proposed based on both fundamental and practical points of view.This review will advance the understanding and development of chemical-microbial coupled remediation for organic contaminated sites.

This paper presents a comprehensive exploration into the integration of Internet of Things(IoT),big data analysis,cloud computing,and Artificial Intelligence(AI),which has led to an unprecedented era of connectivity.We delve into the emerging trend of machine learning on embedded devices,enabling tasks in resource-limited environ-ments.However,the widespread adoption of machine learning raises significant privacy concerns,necessitating the development of privacy-preserving techniques.One such technique,secure multi-party computation(MPC),allows collaborative computations without exposing private inputs.Despite its potential,complex protocols and communication interactions hinder performance,especially on resource-constrained devices.Efforts to enhance efficiency have been made,but scalability remains a challenge.Given the success of GPUs in deep learning,lever-aging embedded GPUs,such as those offered by NVIDIA,emerges as a promising solution.Therefore,we propose an Embedded GPU-based Secure Two-party Computation(EG-STC)framework for Artificial Intelligence(AI)systems.To the best of our knowledge,this work represents the first endeavor to fully implement machine learning model training based on secure two-party computing on the Embedded GPU platform.Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of EG-STC.On an embedded GPU with a power draw of 5 W,our implementation achieved a secure two-party matrix multiplication throughput of 5881.5 kilo-operations per millisecond(kops/ms),with an energy efficiency ratio of 1176.3 kops/ms/W.Furthermore,leveraging our EG-STC framework,we achieved an overall time acceleration ratio of 5–6 times compared to solutions running on server-grade CPUs.Our solution also exhibited a reduced runtime,requiring only 60%to 70%of the runtime of previously best-known methods on the same platform.In summary,our research contributes to the advancement of secure and efficient machine learning implementations on resource-constrained embedded devices,paving the way for broader adoption of

Spatiotemporal information,positioning and navigation services have become important elements of new type infrastructure.The rapid development of global digital trade provides a large-scale application scenario for the use of Beidou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)spatiotemporal information to support the certification of origin of agricultural products.The BDS spatiotemporal information agricultural product digital credit system uses such modules as BDS,spatiotemporal information collection,spatiotemporal coding,and spatiotemporal blockchain.It incorporates multi-level joint supervision mechanisms such as government,associations,and users.Starting from the initial production link of agricultural products,it realizes the correspondence and locking of online and offline products,effectively improves the integrity and credibility of information in the production process,finished product quality and circulation process of products,effectively manages the green production and anti-channel conflicts of producers,and provides credible information for consumers,thus realizing the digital credit certification of products.The successful practice of characteristic agricultural products in Yunnan Province has verified the application ability of the BDS spatiotemporal information agricultural product digital credit system.This system has played a significant role in promoting the online and offline locking,credible information,effective supervision and high quality and high price of characteristic agricultural products from the field.The BDS provides services for global digital trade and contributes to the further enhancement of the global application scale of GNSS.

1Introduction Due to the easy loss and decomposition of traditional chemical pesticides,their repeated application in agriculture results in serious environmental risks to the surrounding environment and organisms.Controlledrelease nanopesticides are attracting attention as a promising technology in agriculture due to their unique structure and effects(e.g.,nano-size scale,interfacial effects,and effective insecticidal time)(An et al.,2022).Their application could improve insecticidal efficacies,decrease usage amounts,and reduce the potential environmental impacts of chemical pesticides.

Fabrication porous adsorbents templated from aqueous foams using astragalus membranaceus and attapulgite as stabilizer for efficient removal of cationic dyes

The water-based foam stabilized by the natural surfactant applied in the fabrication of porous materials has attracted extensive attention,as the advantages of cleanness,convenience and low cost.Particularly,the development of a green preparation method has became themain research focus and frontier.In thiswork,a green liquid foamwith high stability was prepared by synergistic stabilization of natural plant astragalus membranaceus(AMS)and attapulgite(APT),and then a novel porous material with sufficient hierarchical pore structure was templated from the foam via a simple free radical polymerization of acrylamide(AM).The characterization results revealed that the amphiphilic molecules from AMS adsorbed onto thewater-air interface and formed a protective shell to prevent the bubble breakup,and APT gathered in the plateau border and formed a three-dimensional network structure,which greatly slowed down the drainage rate.The porous material polyacrylamide/astragalus membranaceus/attapulgite(PAM/AMS/APT)showed the excellent adsorption performance for cationic dyes of Methyl Violet(MV)and Methylene Blue(MB)in water,and the maximum adsorption capacity could reach to 709.13 and 703.30 mg/g,respectively.Furthermore,the polymer material enabled to regenerate and cycle via a convenient calcination process,and the adsorption capacitywas still higher than 200 mg/g after five cycles.In short,this research provided a new idea for the green preparation of porous materials and the treatment of water pollution.

Dynamic behavior of outburst two-phase flow in a coal mine T-shaped roadway:The formation of impact airflow and its disaster-causing effect

The study of the dynamic disaster mechanism of coal and gas outburst two-phase flow is crucial for improving disaster reduction and rescue ability of coal mine outburst accidents.An outburst test in a T-shaped roadway was conducted using a self-developed large-scale outburst dynamic disaster test system.We investigated the release characteristics of main energy sources in coal seam,and obtained the dynamic characteristics of outburst two-phase flow in a roadway.Additionally,we established a formation model for outburst impact flow and a model for its flow in a bifurcated structure.The results indicate that the outburst process exhibits pulse characteristics,and the rapid destruction process of coal seam and the blocking state of gas flow are the main causes of the pulse phenomenon.The outburst energy is released in stages,and the elastic potential energy is released in the vertical direction before the horizontal direction.In a straight roadway,the impact force oscillates along the roadway.With an increase in the solid–gas ratio,the two-phase flow impact force gradually increases,and the disaster range extends from the middle of the roadway to the coal seam.In the area near the coal seam,the disaster caused by the two-phase flow impact is characterized by intermittent recovery.In a bifurcated roadway,the effect of impact airflow on impact dynamic disaster is much higher than that of two-phase flow,and the impact force tends to weaken with increasing solid-gas ratio.The impact force is asymmetrically distributed;it is higher on the left of the bifurcated roadway.With an increase in the solid-gas ratio,the static pressure rapidly decreases,and the bifurcated structure accelerates the attenuation of static pressure.Moreover,secondary acceleration is observed when the shock wave moves along the T-shaped roadway,indicating that the bifurcated structure increases the shock wave velocity.

市场化改革一直被视为解决我国企业创新问题的一剂“良药”,然而越来越多的证据表明市场化改革对创新的积极效应并非一成不变,既有研究亦对此莫衷一是。基于此,本文从双重竞争逻辑入手,运用制度理论,研究市场化改革如何影响企业创新投入与创新效率。采用2008—2019年中国省级创新数据的实证结果表明:(1)市场化改革对创新投入产生正向影响,即市场化改革能够借助制度的革新与完善,加速市场竞争与政府竞争,促使企业投入更多的创新资源;(2)市场化改革对创新效率产生倒U型影响,即过度的市场化改革会阻碍企业创新投入转化为创新产出,致使企业创新效率因双重竞争的负面影响而受到抑制;(3)市场化改革对创新投入与创新效率产生差异化效应,其根源在于制度变革对创新与竞争的桥接作用。本文的研究结论有助于进一步理解市场化改革对企业创新的深层次影响机理,为企业合理配置创新投入、有效提升创新效率提供经验证据,也为政府把控市场化改革进程、理顺政企关系提供理论参考。

Genomic data have demonstrated considerable traction in accelerating contemporary studies in traditional medicine. However,the lack of a uniform format and dispersed storage limits the full potential of herb genomic data. In this study, we developed a Global Pharmacopoeia Genome Database(GPGD). The database contains 34,346 records for 903 herb species from eight global pharmacopoeias(Brazilian, Egyptian, European, Indian, Japanese, Korean, the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China, and U.S. Pharmacopoeia’s Herbal Medicines Compendium). In particular, the GPGD contains 21,872 DNA barcodes from 867 species, 2,203 organelle genomes from 674 species, 55 whole genomes from 49 species, 534 genomic sequencing datasets from 366 species, and 9,682 transcriptome datasets from 350 species. Among the organelle genomes, 534 genomes from 366 species were newly generated in this study. Whole genomes, organelle genomes, genomic fragments, transcriptomes, and DNA barcodes were uniformly formatted and arranged by species. The GPGD is publicly accessible at http://*** and serves as an essential resource for species identification, decomposition of biosynthetic pathways, and molecular-assisted breeding analysis. Thus, the database is an invaluable resource for future studies on herbal medicine safety, drug discovery, and the protection and rational use of herbal resources.

In the recent work, we have developed a decay framework in general Lp critical spaces and established optimal time-decay estimates for barotropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Those decay rates of Lq-Lr type of the solution and its derivatives are available in the critical regularity framework, which were exactly firstly observed by Matsumura ＆ Nishida, and subsequently generalized by Ponce for solutions with high Sobolev regularity. We would like to mention that our approach is likely to be effective for other hyperbolic/parabolic systems that are encountered in fluid mechanics or mathematical physics. In this paper, a new observation is involved in the high frequency, which enables us to improve decay exponents for the high frequencies of solutions.

Spring regrowth is an important trait for perennial plants including alfalfa,the most cultivated forage legume worldwide.However,the genetic and genomic basis of the trait is largely unknown in alfalfa due to its complex genetic background of the tetroploid genome.The objective of this study was to identify quantitative trait loci(QTLs)associated with spring regrowth using high-resolution genetic linkage maps we constructed previously.In total,36 significant additive effect QTLs for the trait were detected.Among them,10 QTLs individually explained more than 10%of the phenotypic variation(PVE)with four in P1 and six in P2.Six overlapped QTLs intervals were detected with two and four intervals distributed in P1 and P2,respectively.In P1,both overlapped genomic regions were located on homolog 7 D.In P2,the four QTLs with PVE>10%were co-localized on homolog 6 D.Meanwhile,six pairs of significant epistatic QTLs were identified in P2.Screening of potential candidate genes associated with four overlapped QTLs(q CP2019-8,q LF2019-5,q LF2020-4,and q BLUP-3)narrowed down one candidate annotated as MAIL1.The Arabidopsis homolog gene has been reported to play an important role in plant growth.Therefore,the detected QTLs are valuable resources for genetic improvement of alfalfa spring vigor using marker-assisted selection(MAS),and further identification of the associated genes would provide insights into genetic control of spring regrowth in alfalfa.
