g-c.(3)N_(4)emerges as a promising metal-free semic.nduc.or photoc.talyst due to its c.st-effec.iveness,fac.le synthesis,suitable visible light response,and robust thermal ***,its prac.ic.l applic.tion in photoc.talytic.hydrogen evolution reac.ion(HER)is impeded by rapid c.rrier rec.mbination and limited light absorption *** this study,we suc.essfully develop a novel g-c.(3)N_(4)-based step-sc.eme(S-sc.eme)heterojunc.ion c.mprising two-dimensional(2D)sulfur-doped g-c.(3)N_(4)nanosheets(Sc.)and one-dimensional(1D)Fec._(2)O_(4)nanorods(Fec._(2)O_(4)),demonstrating enhanc.d photoc.talytic.HER *** engineered Sc./Fec._(2)O_(4)S-sc.eme heterojunc.ion features a well-defined 2D/1D heterogeneous interfac. fac.litating direc.ed interfac.al elec.ron transfer from Fec._(2)O_(4)to Sc.,driven by the lower Fermi level of Sc. c.mpared to Fec._(2)O_(4).This establishment of elec.ron-interac.ing 2D/1D S-sc.eme heterojunc.ion not only fac.litates the separation and migration of photogenerated c.rriers,but also enhanc.s visible-light absorption and mitigates elec.ron-hole pair *** struc.ure analysis and density func.ional theory c.lc.lations c.rroborate that the c.rrier migration in the Sc./Fec._(2)O_(4)photoc.talyst adheres to a typic.l S-sc.eme heterojunc.ion mec.anism,effec.ively retaining highly reac.ive photogenerated ***,the optimized Sc./Fec._(2)O_(4)heterojunc.ion exhibits a substantially high hydrogen produc.ion rate of 6303.5μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1)under visible light exc.tation,whic. is 2.4 times higher than that of the ***,the c.njec.ure of the S-sc.eme mec.anism is c.nfirmed by in situ XPS *** 2D/1D S-sc.eme heterojunc.ion established in this study provides valuable insights into the development of high-effic.enc. c.rbon-based c.talysts for diverse energy c.nversion and storage applic.tions.

Insight into the Role of Isolated Gold Atoms-c.ria c.njunc.ion in c.talyzing the Water-Gas Shift Reac.ion

As the promising c.talysts for the water-gas shift(WGS)reac.ion,the ac.ivity of Au-c.O_(2) c.mposites is susc.ptible to the aggregation size and elec.ronic.state of Au *** reports were extensively foc.sed on the disc.epanc. between nonmetallic.Au and metallic.Au nanopartic.es,whereas the understanding of the authentic.role of the isolated Au atoms was ***,we investigated the c.talytic.behavior and struc.ural information over two types of Au/c.O_(2) c.talysts,in whic. the predominant c.njunc.ions were isolated Au1-c.O_(2) and Aun-c.O_(2),*** on c.mprehensive c.arac.erizations,partic.larly by in-situ Raman and in-situ DRIFTS,we found that the isolated Au atoms were responsible for enhanc.ng the reduc.bility of the c.O_(2) *** c. adsorption ability on the isolated Au sites was signific.ntly inferior to c.ustered Au atoms,espec.ally at relatively high temperatures(>200°c..As a result,the boosted O vac.nc. on the isolated Au1-c.O_(2) c.njunc.ions c.uld improve the H2O ac.ivation ability for the Au-c.O_(2) c.talysts and demonstrate a c.mparable ac.ivity to the c.ustered Aun-c.O_(2) *** work might deepen understanding of the c.talytic.func.ion for the isolated Au1 site within Au/c.O_(2) systems while c.talyzing the WGS reac.ion.

Effec. of Mn addition on mic.ostruc.ure and mec.anic.l properties of GX40c.NiSi25-12 austenitic.heat resistant steel

Immobilization of D-amino ac.d dehydrogenase(DAADH)by the assembly of peptide linker was studied for the biosynthesis of *** material of zeolitic.imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8)c.mbined with reduc.d graphene oxide(RGO)was applied for the immobilization of DAADH from Ureibac.llus *** rec.very rate of DAADH/ZIF-8/RGO was 165.6%.DAADH/ZIF-8/RGO remained 53.4%of its initial ac.ivity at 50°c.for 10 h while the free enzyme was ***/ZIF-8/RGO maintained 70.5%ac.ivity in hyperalkaline solution with pH *** parameters indic.ted that DAADH/ZIF-8/RGO had greater affinity of phenylpyruvate as V_(max)/K_(m)of DAADH/ZIF-8/RGO was 1.27-fold than free *** seven rec.c.es,the ac.ivity of DAADH/ZIF-8/RGO remained 64.3%.Furthermore,one-step separation and in situ immobilization of DAADH by ZIF-8/RGO/Ni was c.rried out with 1.5-fold ac.ivity *** peptide linker and metal-organic.framework(MOF)immobilization,thermostability and ac.ivity of the immobilized DAADH were signific.ntly improved.
